The manager, Rachel, is amazing!!! I attempted to move into a unit I had paid for at the W Sam Houston Pkwy S location on 8.14 and the facility had no power due to issues with the poles and was locked out. Centerpoint was on site trying to fix the issue, however I had movers outside with all my belongings on their truck and they were charging me additional time (I had already paid them 300 and being assessed for every 15 after). I contacted customer support and they advised I go to another location, and gave this address. After reloading some items, we rushed down to S Gessner and Rachel was very understanding of the extenuating circumstances. She helped me find a larger unit, calm my rattled nerves and contacted the appropriate people to help resolve all the issues from my previous rental. She is one in a million and I'm extremely grateful for the service she provided. Thank you, Rachel. You're the best! 🤗

PLEASE DON’t GO HERE !!RATS & SPIDERS!!! I used this storage bcus I had an emergency and was a last min option …they were super nice when u 1st move in but this place will lock u out and put locks on ur units so fast ..u can’t get back in until it’s paid in full even if u just paid it ..after the 1st if u arrive it’s late and they won’t remove locks ..I got locked out while I was there and had to leave out with my vehicle,got back and the office was closed and I couldn’t put my car up ,they hide in the office ,won’t answer the phone and several times I’ve seen customers waiting and nobody is there ..I just moved out and they r saying I still owe $827 for May even after I moved ..they don’t prorate anything!But I get a phone call from them ..asking me if I was gonna pay that money today!NO STARS ..Locking folks out and demanding that high rate is bad business..the emails and threats to auction ur items !!!not even 2 weeks into the month

This place is not safe please don’t rent here your unit will be broken in and your stuff will be gone after 2 months of moving in plus the insurance. They sell is useless because they don’t cover your stuff because they want a proof that you put that stuff in the storage with pics of the in the storage. They will increase your monthly rent as well without notifying you by any communication method. This is the third grade property. Please go somewhere else. Save your time and money. The manager lady is really awful when I was complaining about my robbery. She wrongful called cops on me stating I am shouting at her and she don’t want me on the property anymore even when I rent from that place and I was a customer. She was really awful. Please save your self from the hazzle do not rent from there.

My search for a storage unit was facilitated by a property manager Ifeoma, who was both knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. This was the most rewarding experience I have had from this type of business - the interaction was priceless.

I came to the location looking for rental space. I have a gaming business. The Property manager Ifeoma showed me some spaces that may be suitable for my equipment. I am seriously considering renting at this location. Thank you again Ifeoma for your assistance.

I came into the Gessner location on 2/28/24 and the property manager Ifeoma was very helpful in showing me some spaces. I was hesitant about storing but she help ease my doubts. She gave me some good information to think about. She is good I would go back and see when I decide.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE if you ever want to see your things again! I rented a unit here for just a few months from Sept to Dec of 2023. In October I received an email saying the door to my unit was being replaced and that a new lock was being put on, that I could retrieve the keys at the office on my next visit. Well, upon driving 15 hours down there to retrieve the last of my things, I arrived, went to the office and they couldn’t find the key to the new lock they put on! They told me I could have a locksmith come if I paid for it myself! Even after attempting to do that, the locksmith could not arrive before the office hours ended and I had to leave Houston that night after a 4 hour ordeal of looking for this key and trying to get locksmiths! The office people are completely incompetent and unhelpful, and my things are pretty much a loss now because I had to drive 15 hours back without them. An absolute nightmare and I still can’t get anyone to answer the phone or explain why a new lock was put on and no key was left! Do not use this place, it’s practically criminal!

Beware of this storage facility. I rented from these guys from 2018 to 2023. In 2022, they called to inform me that my lock had been drilled off. The lady on the phone assured me that they hadn't gained access to my unit and that Public Storage had changed the lock. The next time I visited the unit, I found that the back wall and wall to the right had been busted out and hastily repaired with plywood. All the drywall was left in the middle of my unit and leaning against my things. Two different employees at this location claimed that there were no notes in the system about the break in or the repairs. The manager of the location claimed to have no knowledge of the break in, even though the fence across from my unit had clearly been cut. Public Storage corporate transferred me from person to person before saying they would email instructions for a rental credit, which was never sent. She denied any knowledge of the walls breaking even though the only one who would have had any reason to repair the walls was Public Storage. She claimed that Public Storage could not access the unit even though they replaced the lock and I got the replacement keys from them. The manager did not apologize, did not accept any responsibility, and would not allow me to throw away the debris at the Public Storage facility. Instead I loaded it all into my Toyota sedan in the 90 degree weather and hauled it off. This storage shed cost $240 a month and they couldn't even keep my things safe.

I met Mrs Josephine today for the first time at public storage her outgoing personality and genuine warmth were immediately evident she loves her work. I am amazed at the level of professionalism ,outstanding work ethic. Mrs Josephine has excellent communication skills, displays attention to details and goes above and beyond to ensure the best experience possible for each individual.

Staff won’t give you the keys to your storage unit till you give them a good review on Google. Sell you a unit at 80 for example and then the next month onward it goes to 120

I have been getting storage units all around Houston for the past year due to my business and this one is by far one of my favorites mostly because Ms. Rachel the property manager is one of the most sweetest and most helpful human beings we have ever met. God Bless her we will definitely be coming back aswell as recommending this property because of her. Ms.Rachel deserves a huge raise.

The lady working on this Storage facility is the rudest person I’ve ever come across. She simply, did not want to rent space to me, although I have the reservation over the phone with a representative who was greatly helpful. If I was from Houston, I would think she have previous issues with me, but this was my very first day in Houston. I needed the space so badly, therefore, I went ahead and rented, otherwise, I would have shopped somewhere else. Absolutely, the most terrible customer service and the most terrible attitude. She deserves no stars.
