Destinee was VERY HELPFUL! Property was clean, which can’t be said about some of the other properties I looked at. Easy access to units and overall pretty quiet.

I had such a great experience at Public Storage, all thanks to Destinee! She was super helpful and made everything so easy from start to finish. She helped me find the right unit and broke down all the info in a way that made sense. Destinee was also really friendly and made me feel comfortable leaving my stuff there. If you need a place to store your things, definitely go to Public Storage and ask for Destinee. She’ll take good care of you!

Great customer service

Wednesday did an amazing job, I couldn’t get my code to work for the entry gate and she worked extremely quickly on being able to pull up my information. When it still wasn’t working she took the time to troubleshoot and figure out what the issue was. Really appreciate her starting my morning off on a great foot!

I will definitely not advise this storage if you are a small business who needs 24 access to your storage because you will lose a lot of money. Since the new management took to storage the rent went up and it is not 24 h access anymore

After public storage took over management from Self Security storage. I had a few issues that needed to be resolved. Da’breon was very professional and helpful in addressing my concerns. I highly recommend this storage space!

Started great until our unit was broken into, inside of a building. They simply bent the door open bypassing our lock all together. Was told this has been a common occurrence and door codes haven’t changed in years? Front desk didn’t seem shocked or overly apologetic at all, seemed business as usual. Not a very secure facility for a place with the word in its title. Bummer. Just a warning. Still working on the police report.

Space in our residential building was suddenly getting down-sized due to renovations. Stressed to the max... panic is setting in quickly! Within mere minutes of arriving at this facility, the Manager *Barbara*, had calmed my nerves and presented multiple options for a quick solution. Sweet relief! This is a convenient location, and the facility is well-maintained, very clean, and safely lit and locked at all times. Yet, we enjoy a full 24-hour access to our units. AND... so important... the staffing provides top notch support. It is always a real joy to deal with such friendly and knowledgeable professionals. Thank you Security Self-Storage, and thanks again to Barbara and the team, for all that you've done to help serve our storage needs. You guys are the BEST!!

I literally fled here with a trunk full of items for storage from the Public Storage on S. Braeswood and Main because they have NO idea what they're doing there. Barbara was welcoming, professional and efficient. The price is higher than Public Storage but with the promotional discounts Barbara gave me with her stellar service, it's just a little bit more expensive for the year and I'm happy to have my stuff in a safe and easily-accessible location staffed with helpful professionals.

Fantastic service!! Barbara saved me when Public storage was no where to be found on my moving day. She was at the front, quick, efficient, friendly!! The Public storage I was going to move into has NO ONE to let me in to get my storage space. Even when I had gone previously the day before and called that morning. In a jam, I called Security Self storage to save me from paying my hourly movers more. Totally worth paying extra to have service when you need it!!

This is by far the most amazing storage unit facility. I have been here for just over 2 years . Very clean property and 24 hour access. I did experience a break in during my time here . Barbara handled the situation with professionalism. The insurance paid out relatively quickly . They now have night security to prevent this .

I was pretty exhausted after moving my stuff here and came down with a bit of a cough, but she was nice enough to provide me with some water, which was unexpected. I’ve been calling for 4 days and coming by during business hours and have yet to be able to reach anyone for a code to access the property to even store my items. My card has been charged and they are never there.

My locked unit inside of one of their building was cut open, ransacked, and robbed. Their staff was aggressively unhelpful. What's the point of having cameras and access codes if you don't use them to investigate break-ins?

Great experience moving in to the unit. Tam was incredibly efficient and well informed about all policies and procedures. I feel very confident keeping my items in storage here with her. Tam deserves a raise!

I've been a customer here for over 15 years, but I absolutely cannot recommend them any longer. They raised my rate twice in four months, they have not been responsive, and I experienced a few questionable things that make me concerned about how the place is managed. When I discovered I was not charged on time recently, I contacted them and they said I was "moved out", but that it was a mistake, so they would charge me two weeks after my original payment date. They said I would be charged the same amount, but that was not truthful. I was charged more, and I had already had a rate increase four months earlier. Not only am I concerned by what they mean by they "moved me out", but I was already concerned by the first rate increase. I live far away and have very little free time, so I can't just come see what is going on. I called when I saw that I was charged more, even though I was told I wouldn't be, but I reached someone who only told me she could have the managed call me back the next day. That never happened and when I tried to call several times, my call was not answered. Since they never called me, I assumed (or hoped) they just fixed their error, but they hadn't. And all this has happened since I moved to the current unit from another one I had rented for many years on their site. I came there from out of town with just three days to downsize and move to the smaller unit. The smaller unit needed some work, but an onsite maintenance man was never able to come nail some sheet rock up more securely. He was often just standing in empty units using his phone and I could see him doing nothing as I moved from one unit to the other. So I ended up just moving into my current unit without ever having gotten the repairs. Now I feel like I need to use time during the holidays to come move, if I even have free time.
