Houston Climate Controlled Storage Units Near the Houston Zoo
Self storage in Houston is next to State Highway 288 near Yellowstone Boulevard. Our all-indoor, cheap climate controlled storage is close to the Houston Zoo.
Avid golfers at nearby Hermann Park Golf Course can tuck away clubs in a 5x5 storage unit. The public course built in 1922 is lined with old oak trees, and was updated in 1999.
You could also store all your tailgating items for the Atrodome in a 5x5 storage unit.
Southside and MacGregor families can use a 5x10 storage unit to hold bulky recreational items for play at MacGregor Park, as well as boxed-up holiday decorations and off-season clothes.

EDIT October 2024: yet another price change, just 3 months after the last one. Our small unit just increased $40. Honestly, this company will bleed you dry. Avoid.

Update: 2/13/24 I received a call from one of their property manager, Ivy, who followed up with me and provided the clarity I was looking for. She was very pleasant and empathetic towards my grievances and happily did what she could to reconcile.
2/12/24 Their customer service is mediocre. No matter what time within business hours I call, they are never available. I went up to their facility during business hours to ask my questions since I couldn't get a hold of them, and no one was there, as if they were closed.
I had the pleasure of getting help from ivy and she was so patience with me and my mom as we was trying to figure out our own situation….. she didn’t seem agitated at all and had great customer service

I've been a customer for almost two years. Rented my space when it was Life Storage. I'm very satisfied with my experience but now it's Public Storage and they are raising prices. From $34 a month to $47 a month. 25% increase literally overnight..

Mrs. Serena at 2405 Jackson was phenomenal!!! She was extremely friendly and helped us perfectly with everything that we needed.
When Public Storage took ownership of Life Storage, around December 1st 2021, I was told by a Public Storage Representative that if I was not going to sign a new rental agreement with Public Storage, i would have til the end of the month to move out without any charges or fees. Two weeks later when I moved out of my storage they charged me for the month of December and late fees. I do not appreciate being lied to. I tried to dispute over the phone and no one will return my call from corporate. Keith Hernandez at the OST location was very rude.
