Terrible service, a very rude black lady helped me, she closed early because they were already waiting for her and she didn't help me, then I wanted to leave the place and she didn't open the door for me. I had to wait for another car to leave so I could leave, that lady doesn't know how to give good customer service, they should fire her.

I’ve had the worst experience with Public storage. I originally started off on Larkwood. I was there for about a year until they got an infestation of rats on the second and third floor. Instead of compensating us, or being courteous, we were told to simply move all of our stuff to the first floor even though rats were everywhere. It smelled horrible and you can visibly see rats running around. I then moved to the Hillcroft location which is close to my home. This experience has been interesting. My unit is constantly hot. I’m talking over 90°. I have reported this at least seven times to corporate. Nothing has been done. I’ve requested a callback no one has ever called me back. Instead, I received a message yesterday that my unit will be going up by $50 even though I haven’t been here a good three months. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with Public storage and plan to move all my things out very soon.

Horrible. Please avoid this place by all means and measures. The quality of the units is below low and the manager of the place is nice to you only when she needs you to sign up.
Also be careful and mindful. They charge whatever they want. Not what you agreed to pay for your unit. Zero stars for customer service.

Initially I left a great review and I still think the manager is awesome but with all due respect to her, I'm disappointed and unhappy with the poorly maintained facility and the overcharging! It's insane. I have been overcharged several times, charged twice for one month and even though I was promised a refund will be issues to be immediately, I didn't get my money back at all. the facility is beyond horrible. No maintenance at all it seems.
About 6 months ago, I was told the locks (that you break your nails and twist your hands on) will be replaced but nothing has been done yet. You cannot open those locks without help from the manager. I'll be getting out of there asap. I strongly recommend you avoiding renting a unit there.

This PS on Hillcroft has been an excellent resource for storage of family goods for over a year. Several encounters with Tasha, the manager, have been positive and shown a well-run and clean facility. The facility is near other neighborhood businesses and easily accessible during business hours. I would consider using this storage business again.

The manager there is the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered in life. I went there twice to get a storage and left both times without service after heated confrontations with this lady, and then her boyfriend or husband or whoever he was supposed to be, both times came out of the back as if he's security or an enforcer. The first time was, I believe a Monday morning about 10, 11ish... According to her it was her offday, which is of no importance to me... don't you work here and live in the apartment on the property and refuse to rent me a unit? Thanks allot employee of the month.
3 months later after the incident left my mind I find myself back in there again to my dismay... This time it was a Friday around 6:30 and she informed me that she is off duty at 6... Once again I'm refused a unit... She should be a shareholder... Oh did I mention that I own and operate a food truck in that area and I will continue to persuade the 10,000 plus customers that I serve on average per MONTH to never do business at this location?

I love coming to this location. I had my belongings here for about two years and service is great. I've met a new receptionist Monica Lara and she's been so understanding and helpful. Great work ethics and willing to do more than most. She keeps the lobby clean and organized also has a wonderful attitude.
