So they are Great until you need help. By great I mean it’s a storage space where you put your stuff… Think twice and find others that are not a large organization and will be human about life events. They don’t care and will never care because it’s policy. There are other storage places.

Today -BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE - 61% rental rate increase in 6 months - initial contracts $194 - then went to $271 - then 3 months later going up to $312 - overall that’s 61% increase - what else in life has gone up 61% in such a short time - BEWARE - in spite of great local team - Pam - great location and great facility - BEWARE - called into Public Storage corporate offices - waited 30 minutes - and on a RECORDED line with Brittany - she advised their RENTAL AGREEMENT allows for increases without LIMIT - after pleading with her about me LOVING the local team and the facility she stated on a RECORDED line that there was NOTHING that could be done about the ENORMOUS increases - NOTHiNG - simply STUNNED - please BEWARE before you chose Public Storage !!!
Last year - Pam, Cindy and Kent will go the extra mile to ensure your experience is a great one - started with a smaller unit and have transferred to a larger one - beyond the staff, the facilities are kept in like new condition - the technology on the app works well too for account management and secure access :)

Worst bill pay customer service. Condescending, offers no help with the issues, keeping saying yes, yes to cut me off, and hang up on me. As if she knows there is no consequence since there is no recording or way to trace back to her. We are renting two units for over three years, we will be taking our business to Extra Space Storage.

We needed to find a large temperature controlled storage unit to temporarily hold my Mom's household furnishings when she moved down from the northeast. I was thoroughly impressed with the ease of renting a unit from Public Storage using their web site, and the high-tech access via their mobile app. (No need to remember entry codes when using the app!) Electronic communication and billing were always right. The facility was always well maintained and the staff a joy to interact with. For those who may be new to using this facility, some things that I didn't know, is that the interior secured door uses a timer to activate the magnetic door holder to keep the door open when you're making a large number of trips during the loading/unloading process. And there's a little switch on the inside of the exterior sliding door to keep them open as well. Again, very innovative to provide a secured facility while providing the flexibility needed to keep the doors open during the moving process. Definitely recommend this location and will certainly look to them for my storage needs in the future.
Nice place, my only complaint is getting their insurance off. My home owners covers storage, I keep sending in the documents and they never reply.
Appreciate this place and like how clean they keep the property. I wish they could keep the carts they have but they keep getting stolen.

Terrible management. I was charged for 2 extra months and trying to get reimbursed for this was a nightmare. Move in process was easy, move out process not so much. Won't be using this storage unit company or referring anyone to them in the future.

SCAM!!! My monthly rate has gone from $150 to $290 a MONTH! They will continue to increase your monthly rate and tell you it’s due to “current market rate” which is a complete lie. The “current market rate” for the same unit can be seen online which is $143 a month (reg $179) which I am paying $290 a month which has doubled since I've been there! Instead of lowering our rate to the current “market rate” our rate constantly increases. Additionally we were asked to log on and give them a 5 star review while getting our keys and signing our agreement right then and there. No joke. So don’t expect the rate you’re quoted to stay the same for long because it will constantly go up. There are plenty of other storage companies in the area and I would not recommend this place.
Paid 300 per month for a space. They took away carts and open on an erratic schedule.
Also they have employees or relatives of employees living onsite. So gross.
They absolutely do not care about their customers at all are aren’t afraid to give you fees and charge to for a whole new month if you decide to leave! Do not come here! They will take money from you with no hesitation!

I was impressed with the service
Frustrated by a bad experience today...planned to move out over the weekend and went through the trouble of renting a truck, coordinating moving help, etc - showed up and the elevator was broken. We weren't notified at all beforehand, and as a result the day turned out to be a waste of money and time, not just for me but other customers who were there moving in/out too. Elevator breakdowns happen, that's totally understandable and not the issue...what is upsetting is 1) They failed to notify anyone properly (there was only a paper out-of-order sign posted on the elevator - but that wouldn't stop anyone from still renting a truck and everything before arriving to then see the sign), and 2) We asked politely if they could reimburse any portion of our wasted expenses since they failed to notify before we arrived with the truck; they flat out refused, and the employee there simply said "Corporate doesnt do that." Not just the truck, but I'll have to pay extra for more rent time I don't need, since I won't be free to come back for a bit. Asked if any reimbursement for the forced extra rent was possible, but again: "that's not our policy." 3) Asked if it was possible to try to use their (locked) stairwell to at least get a few smaller items out; the employee said no, they don't let anyone use the stairs because of insurance liability. Why have stairs then? All in all, in just under an hour we learned the company has frustrating and seemingly less-than-ethical policies. As a separate frustration from today, they've also raised my rent price 3 times randomly in just the last year without any explanations.

These people overcharged me and won't give funds back. They blow you off the (ironically) the "We Care" number. Promises promises. Haven't been made whole.
Once I was in and settled, they doubled my rate. Their rate is not contacted so it varies. Upward that is.
No one to listen to any complaints. No one "cares".
There are a lot of storage facilities. This one is a freakin nightmare.

Marianne was helpful, although, she had quite a hard time hearing in the office space. It was quite loud from all of the echo in the room.
I tried to add an additional space to my existing account, but, it was going to cost me more as an existing customer rather than a new customer. So much for loyalty with public storage. That is extremely disappointing. Also, they are having issues with carts being stolen. The result is now, you must sign out a cart in the office, walk it through, then check it back in. Absurd!!! Basically, this now means you have no after hours access to a cart.
Not a happy customer, feeling hijacked with “insurance” and $200 month bill.

I work in customer service. This company is the absolute worst run company I've ever encountered. I should have have heeded all the negative comments before renting here.
I'm with a non-profit entity that moved into one of Public Storage's unit for $244/mo. in September of 2021. In December, 3 months later, Public Storage tried to raise their price to $310/month. $800 more per year! I went into their office for an explanation 3 times and the manager was never there. All three times I was told the manager, Sandy, would call me back. The poor customer service agents behind the desks are trained to never give out Sandy's email address OR phone number. Basically they're there to take whatever a disgruntled customer dishes out. I'm surprised they don't quit. Sandy should be ashamed of herself leaving them out to dry like that.
Anyway, I never received a phone call. SO, I called their company 800 customer service number and got the phone number to the Regional Manager, Jessica Moore. Again, I left 3 messages with her. Not a word.
Do yourself a HUGE favor. Use Yellow Door Storage just a few minutes west of this Highland Village site. Same size unit $90 cheaper a month at $220. AND they are AWESOME to deal with.

Why write on my password card that the gate opens at 6AM if I can’t get into my unit before the office opens?? Went after 8 this morning and the door to the units is locked. That combined with the rent that’s double what it was when I joined is reason to reconsider my choice here
