Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 3500 McCart Ave, Fort Worth, TX

If I could give this place zeros stars I would. Trailer was stolen from my personal parking space November the 1st. If it wasn’t because I went in a week later to drop off one of my other trailers I would’ve never found out. Never recieved a call to let me know my trailer had gone missing. Never heard a call back from the supervisor at this location either after numerous attempts. If you have a trailer or anything parked I recommended you to be aware. As I was told they had a person make a account for a few days to gain access to the gate code.

Inconvenient hours, high rates, no one answers the phone, there’s never carts available, but at least it’s climate controlled and safe. Just don’t expect much else.

An excellent experience because of the juju level of care and attention of Bradley. It was refreshing and so wonderful especially after having had a horrible experience at another Public Storage location. He was friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean. Area of improvement: gate access. The app doesn’t always work, however, I don’t fault Bradley or the property manager because had the same issue at the other location so maybe it’s technology.

Nice clean safe place but the open hours are terrible. Should be open early and late for people moving things!

So Karen at the front desk said they seen people steal the carts that they had advertised to use but said that they are not legally liable for them but makes, I find it hard to access my unit with the limited hours, I see everyone rushing there, and even more so on the weekends, can't say to much on service as we did everything online, but got an email for leaving at 2 minutes after six. And why is the air in the climate control storage ALWAYS off? And it always smells like the devils lettuce in the office

Terrible hours, why close a storage center at 6pm and open at 9:30. People have jobs, I can have moved everything from 7am to 9, don’t make sense.

I'm giving 5 stars only because of one employee in an otherwise pretty horrific day. I recently moved to 10 acres in Oklahoma from FW and was in town when my truck's axle gave out. Long story short my truck gave out in the middle of the gate and then it started to pour down rain. Ever since our two month old baby passed every day has felt like this...stuck in a situation borderlining feeling helpless and then a thunderstorm decides to join in. Regardless, Tenisha from public storage really improved the morale in this situation. I won't go into the negatives (that's another review for another day) because I really want to emphasize the power of kindness and compassion for others. Instead of elevating the situation and making it worse she remained professional and helpful. I wish we all chose to go that route because lately I have seen grown adults choosing to offer malice instead of kindness. Tenisha chose kindness and we will forever be grateful for her turning our day around.

Worst public storage! I had to hurry and take my wife to the ER. Someone was blocking the ONLY exit in the building I asked them to move and they refused. I went to ask the employees and they said they couldn’t make them move. It was truly one of the worst situation to be in. I finally had to make the people move from the exit.

Terrible service. Rented a unit online - got a call that it was reserved and that I would get a text to confirm. Never received the text so I went it to pay. The employee at the desk said they no longer had the size unit I rented and that the next smaller size was available but cost MORE than the larger unit I was told was available just the day before. Will not recommend Public Storage McCart.

Your rent goes up and they don’t explain why, they only notify via mail. Elevator never works…

My experience dealing with All Storage in the past was a positive one. Now comes Public Storage and this location is something else! I was there over the weekend trying to get someone in the office but there was no one to be found. We drove the property and walked all around inside by the units and could not find an employee. The customer service phone number is a joke as well, absolutely no help at all. As soon as I can, I will be vacating this facility and finding another All Storage or Anything has to be better than this. Whoever was working there on Sunday or shall I say not working, needs to be fired immediately and the manager that is at this location now needs serious customer service training skills. Are you guys just hiring anyone?

Bill helped me out a lot with the process of renting my first storage unit he’s very kind and knew helped me pick the perfect size ! Excellent service

I've had a 10x15 unit for almost 2 years now... finally able to move out of it and we are sorry we didn't sooner. Started at $145/m, now currently paying almost $300/m for the same space. Almost never anyone in the office, which is an inconvenience since all their trollies are stored in there, which you have to use your ID to "rent" from them to use. Elevator almost never in service/inspection date is expired. Will lock you out of access to your unit if you're only a few days late on rent. Will not pro-rate rents if you move in the middle of the month. Once you use one day out of a month, you're automatically responsible for the whole month. Will NEVER recommend to anyone.

The facility is secure and Sasha was extremely helpful with getting everything set up. Reasonable pricing and I would recommend it if you are looking for a place for storage.

I needed an affordable space to put my things. I was well informed about how payments could be made and how to avoid missing any. The staff is very friendly. Just moved out today.

I have been using this facility for awhile now. I came by the office on August the 30th and met the newby. Sasha was so helpful, kind and friendly and we need more people like her in this world.

My diaper bag was stolen from here and they have no cameras by the elevator so we couldn’t even see who took it if we wanted to. Be careful.

I have been using this storage center for a little over 6 months now, and have no complaints. I have had no problems with my unit or property damage issues. The staff member Daisy has been very helpful to me. She waited for me to load up my unit, even though the store was closing soon. She also aided in finding a solution when I misplaced my storage key. I would deem this location as reliable, and safe

My dad went to move in his stuff in today and ended needing a second unit. Anabel helped him get the second unit and made the process so easy for him great customer service.

Two large price increases on a parking spot in their back lot. The most recent price increase of $25 on a previously $67 bill was discovered by me on the statement - showing it would go in effect next month. A postcard informing me of this arrived the same day. I called and asked what the price increase covered (hours of access to the spot have actual decreased). The person working could not tell me why the price had increased other than normal business increases. She promised to get an answer and get back w/me. She left me on hold and never returned (this is my usual experience in dealing w/this company - corporate or local level). They are increasing the price dramatically on a simple parking spot yet they have no standards on these parking spots. There are numerous wrecked and junked cars, instead of the expected RV and boats. It make me question exactly who is accessing the spots. I will be leaving when my month is up.

This storage facility is garbage. If you work a regular job, like most folks, this place will NOT work for your schedule. For the prices they charge you would think they would be more accommodating. Save yourself the time and stress. Do NOT rent from this place. There are too many other storage facilities that are about 20 to 40 dollars less and have access until midnight or later.

I needed to get in to pick up some of my stuff but it was closed. What’s the use in giving a gate code if you can’t get to your stuff after hours. Most places are 24 hour access!!!

Annabelle went out of her way to make our experience a good one. Our guy had to go to a store in Akron OH to sign some online paperwork and THAT owner called her and let her know the paperwork was completed. Annabelle made sure that we didn't miss any deliveries to our unit. Further she reached out to the Trucking Company to let them know she was ready!!!! Thanks for the Great Service!!

Wouldn't let me have access, after paying bill for storage or help me access anything.

To state that I am disappointed with this business would be an understatement. I began renting a small space in July 2022 during a move. I was impressed with the rate, agreement, and was pleased with the management (this has not changed, and I have no complaints regarding the fantastic current manager). On a recent credit card statement after 6 months, I realized my rent had gone up by 32%. This, clearly, is significant for a small space. Upon reaching out to the online chat center, I was told my rate could change at any time within 30 day’s notice. I had also allegedly received a post card informing me of the rate. The postcard had been sent to the wrong address. When I asked her for any exemptions, she stated I was ineligible, as I had not been renting for over 12 months. When I asked for further clarification, the chat was discontinued. I am extremely disappointed with these tactics. This lease was not on a term, and while I may understand small increases, this is extremely unacceptable. Even if the postcard had arrived on time, this "bait and switch" tactic is in poor taste to put it nicely. At this location, there are many parents looking to rent storage for their students entering TCU. Please be weary moving forward, read the fine print, and realize that these “incremental changes” may be worth a second glance. “We may change your Monthly Rent, fees and charges, and any other terms of this Rental Agreement with 30 days' notice to you” (center of page 2 on agreement)

Very poor accessibility and service. When the storage facility says that it’s open and you have availability to get carts and get to your storage they should be available and the carts should be ready to go. Every single time I come I have to wait for someone to show up and make multiple calls to get any service or satisfaction. What a hassle!

I have to commend the PS staff Dyana who I met earlier at the Cockrell location, she offered to help if I visited the McCart location, which I did. She went over and above to help ensure concerns were resolved, all in good timing to allow for me to go about my day. I highly recommend this location (3500 McCart, Fort Worth TX 76115) for anyone with storage needs.

Arrived at 4:10 pm 3500 mccart to make a payment front doors were locked but closed at 5pm no one to be found rang the bell nothing. Called corporate and put me on hold never came back another lady answered rude attitude it’s 105 outside today thanks Public storage business of the year goes to you guys.

Dyana is AMAZING. She takes great pride in her job and truly cares about the security of our belongings. She even gave us tips on how to keep our furniture safe and dry. She found us the PERFECT unit and even cleaned it out. She makes sure that facility is SPOTLESS and bug and rodent free. We loved the facility and the security but Dyana is the main reason we rented. She made us feel comfortable keeping our belongings there.
