**Follow up** After reading my review I was contacted by Emily the district manager after three weeks of no call back, she basically had no real solution leaving me with NOTHING STILL. THEN I GET a nice email saying I OWE THEM NOW!!! after paying them $15K to store my belongings only for them to neglect the facility there for I have to suffer a huge financial lost and all of my belongings destroyed. So at this point I will contact my attorney to see if this can be resolved legally I’ve been very patient with this company and they are horrible DO NOT EVER STORE HERE or any PUBLIC STORAGE facility. You will NOT pay you all another DIME!!! You all can clean that rat infested stuff out of that unit I have no use for it! I should not have swept all the rat feces out that PUBLIC STORAGE caused due to neglect.
Do not store items here my unit was infested with VERMIN! (rats or mice) I had the climate controlled unit $345 a month. To be left with nothing and no help from public storage spoke with Nikki and Meka as well as sent pictures of all my damaged items. To be told by Nikki the district manager would give me a call here we are three weeks later no call and not even any bit of sympathy from these people. Or any solution I had my entire home in this unit was set to move in my new home December 28th now my children and I have NOTHING! I also did have the insurance through public storage through Orange Door but they have on the policy they only cover $250!for vermin damage and then they take $100 deductible so they will only really cover $150 do not waste your money with this company. I rarely write reviews but this needed to be said. I have been a customer for five years at this location. I wish they would take better care of customers belongings and would communicate more effectively. I will reach out to the CEO Joseph Russell Jr meet to attempt to get this resolved.

This is a great place to storage and i like Nikki. She is very nice and she is working so hard to make this place clean . I'm a long time customer. I have three large units and I tell everyone that needs to storage stuff to come here.
We chose this location for two reasons: Price and proximity to my office. It was super easy, quick and exactly what we needed. To make it even better, the gal that helped us - Nikki - was AWESOME. Id just drop by the office to chat with her!
I’ve rented a long time with public storage three other Texas area cities. Never have I ever had the difficulty, lack of communication, zero emails, snarky/ kurt employee, disregard for clear directions, no map showing you the rental space is NOT square until you arrive with the movers but triangular. Payment errors, no communication about this to notify renter; to contacting the bank as to why, then PS charging another account an unauthorized amount, to reaching out to the supervisor of the Forney PS, that takes 4 voicemails to connect, then promising things that have no follow up; therefore leaving a balance sheet that is all over the place inaccurate-no confirmation of now TWO additional payments they have zero record of. Still no returned call from supervisor since 11/15/24. Constantly asked by now three employees to write a Google review. At this juncture I will move my items from this poorly managed facility and would not return nor recommend to anyone in Forney this site.
Should they finally get their act together and handle business that is important, the review might change however if not then the BBB will be made aware of far more details. So make sure you ask a plethora of questions because the information is not given if you do online but if you go in person you may have Nikki, and she is not always pleasant when you have additional questions or need of returned messages. Meka was good but she did not follow up per her promise. So public storage supervisor above Emily H. is the next chase down.
Bottom line: either don’t expect much, be ready for stress or better yet: RENT ELSEWHERE!

We rent a climate controlled storage unit. The building is always neat and clean. It is secured by a locked gate, locked main door, and lock on the unit. We saw that some of the outside units had been broken into, and repairs were done by the next morning.

UPDATED: Before this place was bought out by Public Storage the prices were affordable and fair. Public Storage came in and raised prices on units, insurance, and issue unnecessary fees. My rent for my unit went up over $50 with no improvements and no explanation as to why.

Very unhappy and unsatisfied customer. I moved into this unit I believe in October. We moved out of it at the end of December. Removed all of our things and lock. I forgot to call to inform the office of the move out. So on the 3rd of January when my auto pay didn't go thru, the office called me. I apologized to her and then informed her that we had moved out of the unit. I asked her to remove me from the auto pay. She said she would. She asked if we removed lock and I said yes. Then I get charged rent on the 6th of January for the rent anyway. So I call the office and was told it was because we left our lock on the unit door. I assured her that we did no such thing. I asked her to remove charge, remove us from auto pay again and move us out. Called 3 more times thru the month about the refund only to get the run around. Next thing I know, I got charged again for February rent. I've now called the office 3 times leaving messages. I've called customer service 4 or 5 times. They told me that they were "escalating" my issue to management immediately and a manager would contact me within 24 hours. That was over a week ago. I've called twice since then. NOTHING. So I'm not at the point of going to the BBB as well as consumer affairs. And anyone else I can think of. These people are ridiculous. As someone who has actually worked In the storage industry for over 10 years, I can tell you without a doubt that this is not how you treat customers. Their customer service and managers are a joke. So I'm advising you now if you do rent from them, beware of the autopay option. Because they will get you!
I was looking to save some money and move storage units, Michelle made everything so easy and saved me from a lot of back breaking work. 10/10 would recommend storing here.
I walked into Public storage and I spoke to a very kind woman, Lizzy. When asked for help, she was quick to come to our aid, and when I asked questions she was quick to answer with a warm smile. I would recommend this facility to other and I thank Mrs. Lizzy for all her hard work and care.
Can I just say Lonnie is awesome?! The customer service was impeccable. I was truly impressed. No one expects to be wowed when moving into a storage facility. Because who actually enjoys moving anyway?! Well, I try to give credit where is due and this experience was great. Oh, the facility is great as well. 😊 I was really impressed with the courtesy and professionalism here.

my first experience was above my expectations. I meet Lilly, a very friendly lady, who made my life very easier than ever. She walked me nicely til my storage space and showed me step by step how to access my space. She also gave me some helpful tip such downloading the apps through playstore which save a lot of time at the gate entry by using the apps features instead of manually type the gate code to access the property and the storage building.

I certainly appreciated the fact that I could do everything online and by the time I arrived on site I had my own gate code already to enter the premises and even a map of where my storage would be located. That saved me plenty of time as I didn't have to even go inside the office, instead I could go straight to my storage unit and get to working. Thank you.

My boyfriend and I only needed storage for a few weeks and we were going to be moved out by the 1st of August but since they go by a tight fit contract, they charged us for the whole month of $284 when we only use one day in August. They could have done us a favor and charged us a prorated amount or not charged us at all, BUT a full $284 for the month and we used one day of that month? Never will use the facility again!!
