This place sucks it overcharges you it doesn't have a a cart to carry your stuff out the air is broken you can have a heat stroke I will never ever use their storage place again

I’m not sure how my experience will turn out yet. So far, I’m not too happy. I told them I had my own insurance before I even rented the unit but their insurance affiliate, Orange Door, is charging me anyway. Can’t just call Public Storage to cancel this; you have to call Orange Door directly and good luck talking to a live person. I’m still waiting. Also, they charged me for their lock. I said I had my own lock, didn’t need theirs so they said just return our lock and you will get reimbursed. I did this the day we moved in and when I called PS to see where my lock refund was, THEN I was informed that you don’t get reimbursed until you move OUT. So far, I’ve run into these two instances of deceptive and/or not-telling-the-whole-truth practices by Public Storage. It’s easy enough to get in and out, 24-hour access to units so that’s all good. Sufficient enough.

I have had a unit here for almost three years. The experience has actually been great as far as storage companies go. The employees have been very accommodating. However, I would personally like to shout out Shana. She is fantastic and goes out of her way to help out the customers 👍🏼
They would not let me rent without accepting their free insurance for a month. They wanted me to call and cancel in thirty days. I explained to corporate an Anthony R that I will forget and end up getting charged, I asked to speak with his manager and he said he could not escalate my call because this is company policy. I’m literally her and having to leave!

Manager here is prejudice as hell against black people
An entire row of lights has been non-functional for several months. We have to bring a flashlight to be able to see inside the unit. The office said they submitted a work order, but they don't seem concerned. It should only take a few days to get something like this fixed!
I rent a storage unit at the facility on 12/30/23 i took my stuff there and the next I went to take the remain stuff. I met the broken in to my storage unit and stole my stuff.
Very efficient even was open and made sure he was here to take cash payment. Customer service great!

When we went to get our boxes one of our boxes were missing and all they said was to file a police report and they even said this happens a lot !
Their property is trashy, the elevator never works and whoever belongs on the property is never there ever and don't answer the phone and never returns your calls
The property managers Javier and Zaida are very courteous and personable. I was able to rent a space short-term and receive the discounted first month. Checkout was a breeze. Highly recommend this location.

Price is fair considering non-working elevator, missing dollies, etc.
If there were a zero star option I would use it. The elevator never works, resulting in dangerous attempts to move things down narrow stairwells. Lightbulbs are always out, the roof leaks resulting in puddles in hallways that often seep into units, there never seems to be anyone around to answer questions, and yet the price has risen significantly in the past few years. The best that I can tell is that they are charging us extra rent for all of the rats that have infested their facility. Or perhaps they have added a surcharge per rat dropping? Either way, this place is disgusting and I am annoyed with myself for keeping my stuff there so long. , If you are looking for a clean, well maintained, safe facility free of rats, which costs less, do yourself a favor and drive around the corner to CubeSmart, instead.
My unit got broke into and things got taking just wanted to let everyone know most of there camera's don't work are they are pointed down to the ground this happaned over three weeks ago and it is still like this.

Poor experience...this particular location seriously lacks professionalism, organization, and customer service! Office door always says "Open" but nobody is ever there at the office to assist with any issues. Moreover, this location way overcharged me for their smallest unit: $133.00 bill for super small unit for one month? Really?! 😡
