Martin, who should managing this location, has excel at customer service skills, is cordial, honest, practical, jovial, and well kept and mannered. I was surprised a corporation of this size and stature, would be able to retain such talented personal. It’s a great pleasure, to know, in the midst of life turmoils, public storage will be there to hold your hand. Thank you Martin. Give him more money and the free housing he deserves.

Worse place to rent, their elevators are always broken and nobody answers. And when you show up during business hours nobody is in the front because they know they’re gonna hear complaints about the elevators. DO NOT RENT HERE!!

When searching for a convenient and low-priced storage place, for my mom moving into town, we decided to visit the public storage off IH35. I was pleasantly surprised at how professional and friendly the lady at the front desk was. I have rented storage from public storage many years ago at a different location and it was never open and no one was ever there. Loren was not only present but gave us a very detailed tour along with informing us of the best methods to use when in need of assistance. She is a gem! She made us feel welcomed and valued. I wish she was around years ago when I rented my storage!

My daughter rented a space here and it was and has been the worse customer service from Public Storage we have dealt with... She did an online reservation for ONE unit, and when she arrived at this Public Storage she spoke with Maria (property manager)... Maria sent my daughter to a locked storage and this wouldn't have been a problem if they would have refunded my daughter's account for this locked unit immediately... My daughter goes to another unit Maria tells her to go to and of course another charge is now on her account... At this point, my daughter is being charged for 2 5x5 storages... Maria assured my daughter the charges would be refunded, but it's now 3 months later and no refund... My daughter was charged for the space she didn't rent because it was locked, and a lock fee (she provided her own lock) on the unit she actually rented... Whenever you call this place no one knows what's going on and they tell you someone will contact you... A few weeks ago we spoke with Martin, and he stated Maria would call us back... We contacted corporate and they stated they would have Maria contact us, but Maria nor anyone else from Public Storage contacted us regarding this... We contacted Public Storage at the number on the website for customer service, but the only way to get through to someone in customer service is to press 1 (to rent) or 2 (to get help with an open account)... We pressed 1 and the lady stated she would transfer us to customer service because there wasn't a number to give... We were transferred to a rep named Michelle who stated she would help us, and get to the bottom of things... Michelle ended up being very rude and unprofessional... Michelle stated we canceled the charges, but we kept explaining Maria moved my daughter out of the locked unit through their system, we never canceled anything... We were trying to ask questions and get an understanding, but Michelle just kept over talking us, and stating, "You need to contact your bank, you need to contact your bank"... Michelle wasn't allowing us to get a word in, so we asked for a manager... Michelle ended our call by stating we needed to contact our bank or Maria... This was such a disappointment to say the least that my daughter can't be refunded $51.64 from Public Storage that clearly shows an error on their part...

Everything was great until I tried to end my reservation. I’ve came to turn in my keys multiple times and no one has been here to take them so I’m now being charged for yet another month for an empty storage unit!

Martin in the front office was exceptionally helpful in the process of renting a new storage unit and made sure the process of moving from one storage unit to a larger one went smoothly.

Had to extend my stay and Ria nailed it. She helped me extend for 3 months and recommended me taking a smaller unit after that. Really nice person who called me back. Thank you. Satisfied customer 😎

5 stars for Nan and Ria in the office. Elevators were broken, which was very problematic as a had a large item much too heavy to take up the stairs and extremely difficult to put back in my car. Nan and Ria set me up temporarily in a first floor unit so I could still leave everything in a secure spot. Very appreciated!

If I could give a negative star I would. The elevator was broken for 3 days when I finally ended my contract. A broken elevator is annoying but there is nobody on staff there and very difficult to get ahold of anyone that works there.

When I first moved in it was spotless. I came to get a few things and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting.

I have had a unit at this facility for over a year now. This facility makes it convenient to move in and access items. Management has worked diligently to address any of my concerns that have arisen, especially the district manager: Nan.

I have been renting a unit here for a year now. I literally have everything I love and cherish here, that within itself can be scary. I have dealt with 2 break ins. The GM Chris was very helpful in making sure that we were getting the best security possible. Changes were made which was greatly appreciated. BUT I WILL SAY THIS… when RIA SANCHEZ was at this location we had NO PROBLEMS. She always made sure that everything at this location was clean, safe and running professionally. She will go above and beyond to make sure that you feel comfortable and can trust that your belongings are safe as can be. Unfortunately there really is no way to totally prevent break-ins but you can choose to put your unit upstairs and that will help make a world of difference! ❤️ thank you Ria for everything!

I have been using this Public Storage location for a couple of years now and have had a great experience. I've been impressed with their security updates. My only concern is not always having enough carts available, but the staff is always very helpful and kind. Shout out to Sarah for her help making the move out process smooth and easy.

Maria was awesome! Didnt end up gettin a unit because of my own company difficulties but she was super great to work with and super helpful.

Staff ( Jessica) was rude and lied about returning my call. During business hours most of the day there isn't anyone in the office at all They don't offer carts anymore she says but there is a carts rack. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I have received good customer service at this location over the past two years, however during a recent visit I needed to transfer to a smaller unit and Ria went above and beyond to accommodate my urgent need. I can’t recommend this location enough!

Walked into the office to ask for a quote on a storage unit and was greeted by a friendly face. Ria was so informative and patient with all my questions. Assured me of security for the facility and even let me know of promos. Definitely will do business here for my storage needs.

Staff was great to work with. We had a great online pricing deal, but the unit we were trying to move into was too small. The staff helped find us a larger unit, but sadly I lost all of the online discounts. Fast forward 4 months and I got a notice in the mail that my unit rent was increasing by $106/month!! I called and spoke with Rhea, who was so kind. She opened and "issue" email and my rent was locked in for this next quarter, but with a guarantee that it will increase at the beginning of the next quarter. Although I am not thrilled, it was a decent comprimise.

I failed to keep track of time loading up my storage unit, and was locked out of the building with my unit still open overnight. I called the manager's line using the automated system and was able to leave a message. When I finally received a return call, Ria, the office manager for this location, assured me that my message was received early morning. She made sure my unit got closed up, and was able to verify whether or not anyone had even accessed the floor it's on. I'm very grateful she was there and was so helpful!

I wouldn’t recommend this facility to anyone. Throughout the year and a half I stored my belongings here, I encountered numerous problems. The closest door to my unit was consistently out of order, and the staff couldn’t provide any explanations or timelines for repairs. My unit was also broken into, causing damage to the door. Despite assurances of a new door, it was never ordered for over a year. Additionally, my rent was raised every six months. Overall, this place and its staff have been a disappointment.

This place is great if you love having your unit broken into and your valuables stolen multiple times

If I could give no stars I would . The bathrooms Are only Accessible during office hours or unless you have access to the first floor. I don't know why they have so many good reviews probably because the staff guilt trip you into writing a good review. They are so quick to auction off your items. I missed a payment in October and in November my unit was auctioned off and I have been a customer since life storage was there. They go through constant staff changes so nothing is ever consistent. They raise rent frequently and it's not even climate controlled if they have it set to 83 all the time . Do not rent from here ! Trust me you can find a lot better !

I've used several CubeSmart locations in the past, but I definitely prefer Life Storage (Edit: Since writing this review, this location has been acquired by Public Storage). The place is always clean and well-lit. They don't play Guantanamo torture music throughout the building. The manager, though clearly overworked, always manages a smile and is helpful and friendly without any trace of a debilitating mental illness like a certain someone at a certain nearby storage place. Speaking of Cube Smart, the prices here are just a smidge higher, but _very_ worth it. Of course, always rent on the website to get the best deals. The security is good, though much of it could be considered "security theater". But for the sake of keeping up appearances, I won't detail the rather glaring flaws in their security here. An individual passcode is required to enter the building and to access the elevator. Your passcode will only take you to your floor. There are cameras aimed down every single hallway to keep an eye on what's going on at all times. Some things that could be improved: 1. Life Storage permits commercial customers (i.e. businesses) to access their units anytime 24/7/365. Public Storage does not offer even extended access hours - much less round-the-clock access hours - to anyone regardless of who you are or what you're renting. This is a missed opportunity because it's miserably hot in the summer. Some people will pay extra to be able to access their unit at night in order to avoid the oppresive heat. It's also safer to have people there at all times. It discourages criminality when the bad guys know that people could show up at any time. 2. Install locks on the restrooms that engage and disengage automatically according to your access hours. As it is, the restrooms are locked outside of office hours and this results in people urinating wherever (in their units, in the hallways, in front of the locked restrooms, etc) because moving things in and out of storage units is hard physical work, so you can't just hold it for hours once the office closes. But even still, I recognize the concern about people living in their units. But that's only even possible for people with first-floor units because after access hours are over, the elevator stops running and the staircase doors lock. So i really am not convinced that it's all that necessary to lock them at all. But if you must, then at least install timed locks. 3. If you're really so worried about people living in their units, that's a ridiculously easy problem to solve. The units all have open ceilings with just a wire mesh to prevent wall-jumping. So all you have to do is pay some college student a few dollars to sweep the place after access hours using a camera on a pole. S/he could just walk in front of all the units and see everthing inside them and know instantly if any were being used to store people or forbidden items. There ya go. Problem solved. Now you can leave the restroom unlocked, sleep easy, and not have to mop up anyone's urine in the morning. Boy, ain't life grand?!

When I tell you this store has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE oh man where do I began first off they change the place from Life Storage to Public storage and didn’t say anything and raise my bill twice in one year then they REMOVED MY LOCK without permission and now I don’t have a key to my storage room so yeah as soon as I am able to move my stuff out I will be doing so

wost storage space to rent. every employee i talked to was always rude. customer service over phone was always a long wait, unhelpful and rude. when i asked an employee when to schedule moveout date they said they charge month to month so then end of month is best. went to grab last few things and the doors were broken so i had to come back the next time i had off (the second of the month) and they changed me the full months rent anyway even though it was their fault their doors are always broken.

Why did I move from one storage unit to another just two miles away besides the lower cost? Because of Managers, Shai & Dawn! Extremely helpful, friendly, courteous, and professional. When another company bought out the Public Storage building I was at and raised my rent, I searched for another place. Dawn patiently answered all my questions, gave me a tour of the facilities and thoroughly discussed all my options. At move-in time, a week later, Shai made move-in paperwork as painless as possible, gave me the option between a couple of units, and addressed my concerns for a family member who has claustrophobic issues in elevators! The kindness of these two managers confirmed that I made the right decision. Thank you!

Hello this is Kevin. I rented a space from them back in late December . My experience has been over all good. I wanted to take notice on the nice young lady Shai that works there. She is very professional and attentive. Any time I was there she made sure i was taken care of without hesitation, renting from other properties before. Shai cares for her customers. I wish all places could be like that but only in a perfect world, so if you rent at this property and u have any issues or concerns ask for Shai, she'll definitely take care of you- Kevin

I had a reservation with the property manager Shai earlier this morning & despite me being late to the appointment she welcomed me with open arms. Shai took her time to thoroughly explain my contract which I'm extremely appreciative of. She kindly showed me around the property & gave me insight on how everything works. This location is well kept & in my opinion one of the best deals you can get for storage. Highly would recommend if you want something on the nicer side yet still affordable. 5 whole stars.

Long story short - Public Storage bought out Life Storage and it's been trash ever since. The transition has been everything, but seamless. After merging, they upped the price and of course that part wasn't communicated until after. Not to mention when the sprayed the doors orange during the transition they didn't cover the tops so every was lightly dusted in orange paint. And the Customer Service is subpar at best. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

We had to move a lot of bulky items and were able to rent an extra dolly to solve the problem!! Shai (shi?) was INSANELY helpful, kind and was able to answer all of our questions efficiently. The staff was the best/most helpful of any storage unit we have rented from, and we could not be happier with our choice to rent here.

I helped my boyfriend’s daughter move out some of her unit and we were impressed by how helpful the staff was. When we got there Shai was cleaning the entrance (the whole place is clean so you can tell they do this often). Everything was well lit. Luckily they have some flat bed carts which were a big help. Definitely recommend!

Have to be honest that the Google reviews about the helpful employee Shai put us over the top when looking for a place that made us feel our stuff would be well looked after while it is being stored. After coming in during my lunch, I came in and there was Shai already helping several people. She helped me out quickly and explained everything no problem. The 5 stars is because she also helped 5 or 6 other people on the fly and I got back home in time for my scheduled call. That's customer service.

Shai, an employee here at this particular location on I-35, is one of the greatest at helping you settle with your storage unit. Sometimes the office is unavailable possibly due to 'short staff', but if and when you run across this location make sure Ms. Shai is here to help with your needs. She's friendly, hospitable, and quite professional. She makes this location a 5*; shortened staffing makes it a solid 4*.

Me and my husband have rented from this location for over a year. Working 2 jobs, he lost his keys to the storage. Shai was courteous and kind enough to put a company lock on our unit when he was too busy to come a put a lock on it. Our belongings mean a lot to us. Some of the items are family heirlooms. She made sure our things were safe and acted in a professional manner. Made us feel like we were home. Before the new company took over, we were not happy with the previous company at all. Seemed like they were never there when we called. The difference between the old and new staff is night and day.

Rented a unit today and Shi was very helpful, thorough and didnt miss a beat. I have never rented a unit before and she made the first time - an easy experience.

Fun fact: their promo "$1" first month rent kinda gets negated when they still charge $50 for application and door lock. This can be cheapened if u bring ur own. It's surrounded by seedy hotels tho. Lots of riff raffs from the hotel next door parking lot. Nothing the storage people can do about that. Don't lock your bike outside either, or it will be stolen with bolt cutters. The storage place itself is okay. At times management will leave restrooms locked with padlock all day, as if nature didn't call while moving heavy furniture... Don't bother using app to gain access either, very buggy. Just use dial pad... Not talking it down. It serves it's purpose if u plan on just visiting it twice. To drop off and pick up belongings. So depending on your situation, it's either a nice place or a unforgiving nightmare due to it's popular location with delinquents. 3 star. Management, if you're looking for constructive criticism, add cameras to the side and back of building, even if they don't connect to anything. Or signs saying the area is being monitored to steer away acts of vandalism towards your paying customers.

Terrible customer service, office is never open, you can never contact anyone, I have wasted alot of time and money here

They have new management and I had a great experience. At the end of the day with not much time left Aaron helped me right away after filling in the form online. It was easy, a great price and only took 20 minutes to get access to my unit and all set up. Very happy, thank you!

I’ve tried to contact this office for 2 months. Every time I call or visit in person they’re closed. They are only open 2:00pm-6:00pm which is ridiculous. I’ve had corporate ask them to reach out to me to no avail. Worst customer service around.

Peggy was fantastic. I unfortunately had to get the locks changed on my unit and she was so nice throughout the process. I was at the storage unit for about two hours waiting for that to be completed, and while some customers would have been upset, I felt more bad for her! She was there by herself, only had one drill to use to cut through the lock and she had just done the same thing to another unit right before she got to mine. Her drill battery ended up dying and instead of saying she couldn't do it that day, she called in back up from another store to help. Tammy came with another drill and together they were able to get the original lock off. Both ladies were so positive and cared about giving me quality service. I was very happy with them and you can tell that they care about their customers. Their drills don't seem to be powerful enough and they should have multiple drills on hand, not just one. Especially if they are by themselves. Get these ladies some upgraded tools so that life can be a little more simple for them. They deserve it!

One of the worst experiences I've had with a storage unit facility. The office says they are open but have been closed for 3 days straight. Doors do not work, eleveators do not function, and there are no carts. When calling customer service, they just say that "they should be there". Drove all the way from Houston to Austin just to pay 150$ for a locksmith to open the door. Left so many emails and voicemails, no response. DO NOT RENT HERE
