The place is secure and clean, but it’s a bait and switch. They get you in with a good price. Then they continually raise the price.

2024 UPDATE: This space has turned into a complete dump. There’s a huge target on everyone’s backs. No onsite staff = gold mine for thieves. I have witnessed thieves actively scouting units and nothing has been done despite voicing my concerns to headquarters. The facility is disgusting and is attracting disgusting tenants. Folks are living in some of these units and it’s taking staff months to catch who lives where even though I’ve provided evidence and timestamps to make it easy on them. Finally, they don’t know what “climate controlled” means. Not sure how 92 degrees is climate controlled, but that’s what it means to them so beware if you have valuables that need cool storage. I have had items fall apart due to the heat inside. Elevators and gates are constantly breaking and it takes days if not weeks to fix. There is no code required to get inside or up the stairs - they just refuse to turn it back on which is the main cause of heavy theft. I would absolutely suggest against getting a unit here and after 10 years of being a tenant, I will be moving out as soon as possible. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Tracy is absolutely incredible. She has bent over backwards for me. I’ve been here for 3 years with 2 full units and I don’t plan on leaving simply because of the amazing service. I just know I wouldn’t get this type of service anywhere else. Need to store some items you can no longer fit into your own personal space? Definitely come here and ask for Tracy. She’ll take real good care of you!

This location only has two elevators and one of them is broken well over half the time I go. I’m not sure what my neighbors have in their units but I found tiny ants in mine. Additionally, this location no longer has a front office. No one ever picks up the phone when I call. Don’t try to use the website chat to contact anyone because no live agent gets connected. I’ve moved my stuff to a different storage facility and need to cancel my unit and guess what? I can’t get ahold of anyone on a weekday and this is during business hours. In general, horrible company to rent from.

Really happy with the service. The space is big enough to fit everything we had on our apartment. Mary was off great help throughout the process of renting the space.

One of the absolute worst experiences of all time. Firstly, no one is on site. You have to make an appointment via a kiosk that isn't functional half the time. After your 3rd or so appt that no one shows up for, you *might* get to meet with someone, but be prepared to wait. The elevator is broken about half the time, with pieces of it literally held on with packing tape. I finally canceled my unit after years of price increases with no warning, being unable to access my unit due to gates/elevators not working, and regularly finding junkies trying to pick locks on units since no one is there to stop them. Canceled 3 times, still got charged for the next month. Had to dispute with my bank since the kiosk *surprise* wasn't working. None of the cameras actually work, so when your property is stolen/damaged, it's just gone forever. And insurance won't pay without some kind of proof, like video footage. If you value your belongings in any way whatsoever, store them literally anywhere else

Had my storage unit broken into and about $5000 of stuff taken, so take what I’m saying as a cautionary tale and make your own opinion. Moved into a unit in June 2019, it was staffed clean and secure. I left the area in May 2023 and got back this week June 2024 and found my storage unit without my lock. Staff said it was found not secured in May 2024… my last gate access had been 2023. They had no explanation for why no one let me know it was broken into. They no longer staff the location, the main office has been replaced with a virtual kiosk. Most of the security cameras are missing. The door security panels are shut off and the sliding doors remain unlocked after business hours. Today the elevator was broken with doors open and alarm blaring and so my final move out took a bit longer. I noticed in the hallway the door to the mechanical room has an unsecured lock on it. Friday night I accidentally stayed past close. I couldn’t use my code to get out. I called emergency line and got left on hold told to call back after July 7…. It’s June 30. The moving help I hired to move out of my unit said the gate mechanism is very insecure and he walked up removed two Philips head screws and pressed a button labeled open… and we were out. Of course no one came and questioned us, because this facility is not secure. Staff called me today and left a voicemail to call back. I tried 4 times over 2 hours. They returned my call eventually and said I turned off auto pay and wanted to know if I was moving out. I said I was moving out yes because my unit had been broken into. The lady just said that’s unfortunate and said she’d schedule my move out. They really don’t care. Oh… and the elevator inspection was expired a month and a half ago. This place was nice in the past but now if you move in renter beware.

Terrible stay away if you can help it. Something is always breaking. My unit was not secure because of their problem with the latch. Couldn't get anyone to service it

UPDATE 5/26/24: Every thing is not okay. This location has its issues like all the others. The staff has always been really nice, but this review is about the bathroom and the security of the facility. (1) The side gate has been unlocked for months (no lock) and anyone can get in to the storage units. Last week exit gate chain was broken (break in?) and gate open wide enough to accommodate a vehicle. Coincidence? I think not... Black nitrile gloves thrown on ground (I was just there night before and everything was the usual). I called the provided number on the app and NO ONE RETURNED MY CALL. They fixed the gate though so I know they got the message. Then today happened. About 7:15am, I pulled up to the loading dock inside the gate to park and a random man, not a renter, came in through the unlocked side gate, and entered into the storage facility thru the sliding glass door of the building and walked around inside. I moved to the front parking area because I did not feel safe. He then came out front via the same unlocked side gate he entered to get in to the property, walked around to the front, got in a car and left. AFTER ALL THAT, I FINALLY GOT INSIDE AND THE ELEVATOR WAS NOT WORKING. STUCK ON FIRST FLOOR AND LOUD SECURITY BELL SOUNDING. CALLED SUPPORT NUMBER. NO ANSWER. (3) Bathroom has not been cleaned for the longest time, trash thrown down on floor, leaves from last fall INSIDE, no toilet paper. Today the bathroom is locked and inaccessible. Please take care of the safety issues, the non-working elevator, and bathroom. Once that is taken care of, I will change my review.

There’s no office , only a Kiosk so talking to a live person is challenging. Rates go higher and higher — Beware! Mine went from $115 to $275 a month , and I’m a senior with a fixed income.

DO NOT STORE HERE! These people are pure EVIL! Once they get you moved in and know you are vulnerable they start raising rates and tacking on additional charges. My space has had multiple rate increases (about every quarter) gone from $216/mo to $322/mo in 1 year. Find another site that cares about its customers. There is also no trash bin to get rid of anything & only bathroom is in office that closes in early afternoon. Been to place 5 times and not been able to use restroom once yet.

Great climate controlled storage unit, feels very secure. No issues accessing my unit. I did find a dead scorpion in my unit (first floor interior unit) two weeks ago. But that can happen in the area with the climate and the construction nearby. The last three times I have gone the main gate won't open and I have to go around the other side to get in or out. When I went to my unit back in September 2023 I had the same problem, so I guess it has not been fixed. Unfortunately their price went up 40% after the first 4 months, then it went up another 15% after another 9 months. The monthly cost is now 60% higher than it was when I first secured the unit 14 months prior. This is my reason for only granting 3 stars.

This is a weird place, no real person during their socalled business hours. There is only a kiosk to talk to a live customer service online, and the phone number goes to another location. I scheduled an appointment to meet their personnel, but when I came it turned out not their normal hours, but when I came back during their socalled normal hours, nobody there. Ridiculous BTW, I left this review yesterday, but it seems only I can see it.

I came to help a relative. The storage was warmer than outside. It only feels cool on the first floor.

I owned a storage unit at this location from January 2023 to August 2023. When I moved out (about a week ago), I discovered 9 out of 12 moving boxes were straight up missing. As far as I can tell, someone broke into my unit and made away with whatever they could carry, since some of the heavier items were untouched. I've been on the phone with their office for the past week trying to get video footage but they haven't returned any of my calls. I filed a police report with APD and they informed me that Public Storage units have had a rash of burglaries recently. Please don't let the reviews fool you. I would hate for someone else to go through the same pain and frustration I did this past week. Find another storage unit that has better and more open security policies in place, and a management team that doesn't ghost you during a time when you sorely need their help.

Good location, good prices, great service. I’m having to move because my apartment didn’t want to work with me, and wants to charge me $1800 a month for a 1bed/1bath. Public Storage was able to get me into a unit within a day! I toured the unit with Emilio, and he was awesome! He got me signed into a unit that day and I know my stuff will be safe here! Stay away!! This complex has not had any carts for the past year. Management says they can't be bothered to get new ones. There are much better storage units down the road.

If you need a storage, this is the one to utilize on spectrum dr, ask for Tonya, she’s a superstar in my book as far as customer service goes. Outstanding experience with outstanding service.

Tanya the property manager is awesome.I work for a water and fire mitigation company. One of our customers we stored contents for lost the keys so we had to get a locksmith to open the lock. She found a locksmith that was very very reasonable also. Tanya is GR8!

This one goes out to the coolest Public Storage property manager ever! Tanya! Today, my husband and I went to this establishment unsure of what we were wanting, after discussing with Tanya, within minutes she helped up figure out the exact unit we need for the amount of stuff we had!! She gave us a tour of the well kept building and other units. When we got to our unit, we discovered that the unit was to small, but no issue for Tanya! She helped us find another unit in under 2 1/2 mins!! If you’re ever looking for a place to keep you item cleaned and secured. I highly recommend going in and asking for Tanya, I don’t know if I’d go anywhere else for a better experience!!🎉
