We were consolidating some other storage units and initially liked this place due to its location and the fact they had larger, climate controlled units. It's fairly new and clean.
Unfortunately Public Storage has several features which made us cancel after 1 day. We had rented a large unit and I brought in some shelves and discovered: no lighting in the units. Near the door it was fine due to light coming in from hall, but the rest is pitch black. I understand security and like to think my stuff is safe, but the doors to the outside would only stay open for about 10 seconds. After that you had to either enter in a long code on the keypad or use their app - the app itself usually took about 10 seconds to connect and open the door. After 2 or 3 times the app quit working, so I had to use the keypad. Moving into a large unit would take forever if you have to continually enter the stupid code to open the door. Lastly, there were no carts around. Apparently you're able to check one out at the office but that's only during the times when the office is open. You may also have to wait 15 mins or more for the office person to actually show up.
After moving our shelving in one day I figured it wasn't going to be worth moving here, so moved out the next day. Luckily got most of our money back except for some stupid admin fee.

Public storage is absolutely terrible. Staff is polite and nice but company is a nightmare. No way to get a hold of anyone, they tell you to use online chat which is a bot, and when you call it's a never ending cycle of press this button or return to menu. They've raised my rate twice without notice and when you call to discuss, there is no answer or they hang up on you. They turn your auto pay off then tell you that you turned it off. I'm paying double what I was 2 years ago. Use cube smart or uhaul. Public storage is trash.

EDIT: THERE NEEDS TO BE A SYSTEM THAT ALLOWS CUSTOMERS TO USE DOLLY WHILE OFFICE IS VACANT. UNFORTUNATE THAT I HAD TO CARRY HEAVY CRATES TO THE 3RD FLOOR.
It's a large 3 story climate controlled facility. There are areas for carts but you will never find them there. You must go up to the office to get them. If its after office hours you're screwed.

The on-site manager is exceptional. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and articulate. She went above and beyond to help me with a solution when all of my items did not fit into one unit. My unit was very clean as was the rest of the premise and I would not hesitate to recommend the Burney Rd. Grand Prairie/Arlington location to anyone!

The lady at the front desk was rude as all get out and I wish people would think before they speak. I as a single mom, I just drove after work from South Fort Worth to come clear out my storage because I can no longer afford it and I packed everything except for a break a park couch that will not fit in my car. Full disclosure I 100% agree they aren’t movers and do not expect anyone to pick up my mess but seeing as how I had seen people leave stuff in the halls and everything else every time I’ve been there I just didn’t even think twice that they wouldn’t let me close my storage unit without it being completely cleared out and the Lady was just very condescending and had zero kindness or helpfulness in my interaction. Just would be nice to have been told kindly or even as a matter of fact.

I went to move out of my storage unit and i open it up and black mold is everywhere. Do not use this place they do not take good care of the building and have a terrible black mold out break!!! WARNING I had to throw out most of my furniture and boxes. The customer service lady at the property her name is Ashley is very unprofessional and has an attitude problem this place is terrible

I have now had my Public Storage space leased for a few months. Extremely clean, very easy to access and very affordable (catch the various online specials that change daily). One of the continuously degrading qualities of any business these days is Customer Service. But not here at this Public Storage. If you are on the hunt to lease some storage space, ask for Ashley at this location. With her impeccable customer service, she'll make initial setup a breeze, answer any questions you might have and always returns calls if you leave a message. Nothing but A++ at this Public Storage!

Clean facility. Nice unit. Friendly staff... when you can find them. We had to buy our own hand cart to move stuff into our unit since the office is closed most of the time even in the middle of the day. No way to page anyone or find out how long it will be until they get there. Only thing I would change would be to install a call button or buy one of those "We will be back at ___" signs. That or leave the hand carts where people can actually use them. Other than that top notch place.

I’ve always used Public Storage facilities for my storage needs. I recently rented a unit at this facility & ASHLEY made my experience that much better with providing me with information about the facility, my storage unit & she always made sure I felt satisfied as a customer. She’s been very helpful & exemplified a positive attitude whenever I encountered her. I feel secure storing here because I notice how she’s always inspecting the facility to make sure everything secure & in proper order. She definitely demonstrates what Good Customer Service is all about! I definitely recommend this location largely because of her! :)
I moved in to Public Storage approximately 4 months ago and thought I had written a review, but didn’t, so I will post one now. I called this branch and was greeted and helped very professional and with all the customer service that keeps the customers coming back ! I went in after work and signed the papers to lease the unit and the customer service was there even more than on the phone. I buy and sell so visit the storage pretty often and never have an issue, the manager always says hi to me by name, which I am sure she has many to remember so that makes me feel like she truly cares and I bet she knows her regular customers by name as well. She is always busy doing something and is there after the office closes checking out the property and straightening up, she truly loves her job. I fully recommend Public Storage for their clean and cool storage building and units, and for choosing great people to represent them. 5* from this customer who will always need and use storage units. Thank you Public Storage, job well done, all expectations exceeded! Just one point to add, the storage building has issues with customers locking the carts in their storage unit, which causes an issue for moving in and out. Ashley did go buy a couple more and has them in the office to be used by leaving your ID for a deposit, but I don’t blame Public Storage, I blame the renters who feel the need to do this. I have learned to improvise when I get there after hours to load and unload, this would be the complaint that I assume this building gets, but still I highly recommend with 5*.
