This place should be called HOMELESS STORAGE, NOT PUBLIC STORAGE...Filthy, Bathrooms look like a homeless shelter, in just a few days. I'll be moving out, so the homeless can move in.

Justan was super helpful during my move in and move out process. He provided excellent customer and will be the reason I go back to this location when my daughter leaves college for the summer. The facility is clean, well maintained, and in a safe location. I couldn’t be there during the move out process but Justan was able to walk me through the process, step by step, and made it such a seamless move out process!

Rent has doubled in 2 years. I can go to the website and get a new unit for the price I originally paid, so there's no explanation for it. They bank on you not wanting to move everything out, and they start jacking up your rent. Don't be fooled. They have no intent of keeping it anywhere even remotely close to the initial rate. Shadiest business I've dealt with in a long time.

I don’t know about the other reviews and I don’t don’t know about them letting nobody in after 5 because the building locks down with you in it so no one has access then the rent keeps going higher the units have no lights so you in the dark unless you come outta your pocket and buy a light so you can’t see people who work normal 9to5 will never make it cause they close 6 during week and 5 on weekends which I feel is unfair to people who work a lot homeless people live there inside some of the units it’s very scary half of the time the app never work the staff is wonderful
But public storage is a rip off! Give options if you are going to keep raising the rent!
Justin was the biggest help in the world. I had accidentally reserved a unit at the wrong location and he immediately transferred the necessary info, and helped me reserve a first floor unit while I was on my way with a packed car. Great communication and customer service all around!

We have used this facility for our business storage,to keep home and work separate. We had considered relocating due to the immediate neighborhood being a bit rough , but I will say that a new employee a couple of months ago made us reconsider! We’ve had many storage units across the country over the years and after many frustrating experiences this is the first location we actually felt appreciated as customers. Juston was so nice and considerate of our needs. His recommendations on which unit would make the most sense for us were spot on and this kind of customer service should be an example to all the other storage companies (other public storage locations included!!) I only write reviews once in a while, but this experience really brightened my day so I felt compelled to leave a review.
Amazing experience here, especially for holding college storage. My only complaint is the app sometimes didn’t let me access the elevator, but the access code always worked! Would definitely use this location again because of how easy and how kind Juston was!

My experience at Publix STORAGE 825 third Avenue, Nashville, Tennessee Tennessee upon arriving on the property and in the office Juston was extremely polite friendly informative answered all of my questions and multiple units so that I can get a better idea of exactly which size of unit I might need. moving is a very stressful situation but Juston was very upbeat and made the experience very easy and stressfree. He was extremely thorough showing me how to utilise the codes for the entry doors as well as codes for the elevators which is quite a confusing process with one call button for two elevators with two keypad boxes . Juston was very patient and was very detailed showing me everything with the codes because had he not shown me I would’ve been very confused but he walked me through the entire process from AZ hands down five star plus plus plus rating
I have a few units at 825 3rd Ave., Public Storage here in Nashville. Whenever I’m there the manager Juston, has been so kind and helpful. He’s always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that we are happy. I highly recommend recommend this storage facility.

We use this location for my company's main storage, staff are super friendly and helpful, and the security with the coded doors and elevators is nice as well.

I've had a great experience here. Started with a 5x10 but realized I needed more space and better access which happened to be right as the college semester ending which made inventory tight. Juston was super helpful in showing me available units multiple times and went above and beyond in getting me in the perfect space as soon as it became available. Excellent customer service and property management.
While I understand the frustration with the access hours ending at 6pm/5pm weekdays, given the location close to downtown, I'd rather lose some convenience and have stricter hours and know my property is safe with helpful staff available.
I personally would not recommend this place to a single soul, ESPECIALLY a college students. Absolutely the worst moving/storage situation I’ve had to deal with. They close ridiculously early & storage is not accessible outside of office hours. When I went the following morning everything was still ridiculously complicated at 11am/12 pm. There was nobody in the office to assist, ALONG with the carts being locked in the office there was no way to transport heavy things on the elevator. Overall very unprofessional, annoying, & just simply draining. It took me 3 whole hours to move everything. However when I was finally assisted after being there for over an hour, JOE was a great help & very sweet! I can tell its not entirely on the employees but also a corporate issue. They just dont care for the customers!
Juston helped me use the elevator and kept me calm down. He let us still transfer the stuffs even the set time is closed.

I want to SHOUT OUT JUSTON!!!! We arrived 8 mins to closing. I was a little frustrated after being on the road for 8 hrs to realize that the elevators would shut down at 6pm sharp. He came out and told me he would stay after so I could get my daughter's stuff into her storage unit. I really appreciate what he did for us. He also helped some other students who were frantic calm down and allowed them to finished unloading their U-Haul. I could tell they were foreign exchange students who had a bunch of stuff.
Again Juston went above and beyond with staying late to help us.

This location has gone down hill recently. The corporate office doesn’t care about the customers or their concerns. Because so many homeless people are living at this storage facility they have locked everything up to where customers can’t use anything. Workers doesn’t show up and they lie about everything. It’s sad and ridiculous that paying people have to go through this.
The site manager is not friendly. Called for support and hang up immediately! Overpriced, Bad access. Can not recommend.
Amelia & Caitlyn are the absolute best. They always go above and beyond to meet your expectations. They are always friendly and remind everyone that the gates and elevators close at 5 or 6pm depending on the day. You have to make sure that you’re paying attention to the gate and elevator locking times. If you don’t you have to wait on customer service to help you. Please be mindful of this, it is very critical. Most people don’t pay attention when they warn you of this. I love the facility, well lit, friendly staff, carts available for use when the office is open. It’s super convenient that the gates open most or all days at 6:00 am. The units are climate controlled, and I love the covered parking area too, so you’re not getting wet unloading your stuff when it’s raining.

I would not rely on a reservation. I made a reservation and they called to confirm but never told me at any point someone else can come in and rent the unit. The district manager told me that I could have made a payment and held the unit until move in, unfortunately this was AFTER they had already rented it out. Thank God today isn’t a moving day for me or I would have been forced into a different unit that I didn’t want. Highly do not recommend
Not great, wouldn't use. Reason is it's supposed to be a secure facility but upon arriving one morning the locked gates were wide open and the doors unlocked. Went today and the gate + doors were completely locked down with a sign that said due to "bad weather" the gate and elevator is not in use. They had power so it's unclear what that meant. There was also no indication of when it would be in use so just no timeline for when you can get to your stuff. Two not great experiences in a row.

Dollies are available for free using a check-in and check out service, making them readily available for all Public Storage customers while on property. Keisha and Shonda are friendly, helpful and reliable! The units are spacious, temp controlled and this location is convenient and safe.

I’ll tell you everything. Worth a read if you are thinking about selecting this location. Ive rented this building before it was public storage and it was life storage.
Pro / Con list:
1. The office is locked during open hours at times during operational hours and seem often short staffed.
2. Currently this location closes early compared to other storage units and companies in the greater Nashville area. You better take a day off of work if you want to move anything that could be time consuming. Their outside doors will lock automatically even if your in the middle of moving items past hours -moving in or out of your locker which means you can get trapped outside and have your unit opened until the next day they open. They will not shut your door or lock your unit (this happened once to me).
3. The building is secure and they do keep an eye out for who goes in and out of the building. They are very strict about that which has its perks for safe guarding.
4. Carts are locked in the office and you must sign in and out.
5. Customer service can be tricky to get ahold of from time to time and you can spend at least an hour on the phone trying to find a resolution to a problem.
6. Front desk people are polite and never had a bad experience with them directly.
7. Space is large and kept up.
8. Elevator can be annoying as you have to type in your code twice to activate it. Once to open the elevator doors and again to select a floor - which the elevator doors may shut again on you while you type your code. So be quick!

This is the worst place I have ever rented! They never answer the phone and they constantly raise their rates each month for no reason! They are a rip off so please don’t waste your money! They are horrible!

There is a nice lady by the name of Tanisha that I've seen working by herself at this location many of times and she is still so respectful to the customers even when they get impatient she actually cares about her work and cares about other people's belongings and making sure they have the access they need to their unit while making it all safe and easy she's a hard worker and deserves to be acknowledged by management of this company

If I could give negative stars I would. This place was amazing under Life Storage and has been terrible ever since they changed to Public Storage. It’s dirty, there are never any carts, the hours are not convenient, and the elevators never work. The homeless like to hang out inside the doors which is why they put a code on the elevators. And my rent has gone up $60/month since PS took over. For what? I’m moving out and taking my business elsewhere.
Resha was extremely helpful in setting us up with our storage unit. We walked in right before closing time and she still went out of her way to show us 2 units and get us setup. 5stars! Awesome Service!

Kesha gave the best customer service ever! I original reserved a unit to hold at least a one bed room. Upon arrive my unit was 5 x5 very small I went to Kesha and she took care of the situation immediately and constantly showed empathy towards my situation. This being my first time using a storage she made it the most stress-less part of moving .

The woman that works here is a useless human being. Every single time I come here there is not a single person in the office. The carts are locked up. I have seen three full Uhauls before wait outside for over an hour. Moving is stressful enough. All the customer service members are wastes of oxygen and all deserve to be fired.

The only reason I will give Public Storage 5 stars is because of the staff and that's Tanisha. She was literally the biggest help from the beginning until the end.
She offered all the services she could and then some. I am new to the area and she told me of some local spots to try. I definitely want advice from the locals.
She offered cold water for me and my movers. She went through everything thoroughly about being a customer with Public Storage. She offered additional tools to make the move easier. I ran out of storage and she assisted me with a 2nd storage.
She went above and beyond her job requirements at the end of her shift. Most people would've abandoned me at the end of theiStorage. No ma'am, not Miss Tanisha.
My move has been a horrible experience for the last three weeks. I was really down but Tanisha was the light at the end of the tunnel for me. She is genuinely a good person and the world needs more Tanisha's to help them make it through the day.

I told them before I rented this unit I was handicapped! They put me in an inside unit on the 5th floor, even after I asked for a drive up unit, they could have at least put me on the first floor! They only have 2 carts! This is a facility that everybody I saw go in and out only stored clothes...A waste of money...I could not do the 5th floor...

I recently moved back to Nashville from Texas a few days ago and I’ve searched for a good storage company and I came across Public Storage and the GREAT customer service sold me and not to mention the affordable rates. If you’re looking for a good storage company Public Storage is the place for your valuable items.

EDIT 2: Cheapskates raise your rent, reduce the hours you can access it, make it harder to get in, and then they have the audacity to put up a passive aggressive sign saying if there aren't carts, don't ask the office where they are.
BUY MORE CARTS WITH THE RENT INCREASE YOU PUSHED ON US.
EDIT: I'd give negative stars now. I just got an email indicating that in May they're increasing my rent another $45 a month for less service and a facility that isn't as nice as it was with Lifestorage. I'm vacating. And their chat rep didn't even show a shred of empathy. Awesome.
I don't really appreciate a new company just popping up and saying, "hey! Now we're in charge of your stuff. Not only that, but we've changed your bill due date, and there's nothing you can do about it!"
I lost my job and was out of work for 3 weeks. I was 2 weeks late on my payment, so they held my stuff hostage. Now that I'm current, I find out that they changed the access hours to 6a-6p and 6a-5p on the weekends? Ridiculous. Now I can't even access my stuff in the evening.
That's just plain absurd. They cite "security reasons", but I'll bet it's so they can use the lot in the evenings to charge people to park at 3rd and Lindsey. Come the first of the year, I'm storing my things elsewhere.

Had a great experience renting here! As a business owner, we frequently need to get short term units all over the US for our needs during business travel and this particular location made access easy for my employees, and when I called while they were busy, the manager called me back even though I did not leave a message. The manager (Keisha? Not sure I'm spelling that correctly) was so nice and attentive! Hands down one of the best renting experiences yet!

I’ve been using this location since it was life storage and I’d have to rate it a 2. Simply because of the hours the doors are locked, the quarterly increase in your monthly rent.
I have the biggest unit they offer and I pay about $150 a month. They tried to jack my price up to $210 a month because of “inflation” which is beyond ignorant. I am doing my best to empty my unit so I can cut ties with this place.
The hours are ridiculous. The place is secure don’t get me wrong. But you use a passcode so why can’t you just access your belongings whenever you need. They are open 9:30am-6pm. With my work hours 8-5 I literally can never get into my unit.
Other than the one two items which are important to me. The place stays clean. Just a bit on the greedy side when it comes to money. There’s always additional fees somewhere, or price increases.

I needed a new storage unit in downtown Nashville on the fly. I did a reservation online, and the staff here followed up promptly the next morning. They were very welcoming to me, and both Caitlyn, and Spring went above and beyond the call of duty in regards to meeting my needs.I was able to take a quick tour and see my unit before finalizing, and I got all of my questions answered. The facility is extremely clean and I’m looking forward to my long term stay here! Btw… it was the absolute best price within an hour drive.

Spring was immensely helpful during my initial visit on 5/2/22. She promptly removed the safety lock on my unit when I realized it was still on, and she also entered a refund for the supplied lock (I had brought my own). I greatly appreciated the help!

I leased a storage unit with my name and information. I noticed on my email bill that the name wasn’t correct so I went into the store and they said someone else’s name is on my unit and won’t give me access to the unit or my things. I called corporate and they stated the store never contacted them when the told me they had contacted corporate. This is unbelievable that all my life of 41 years is in that storage unit and they won’t give me access to it. I went into the store and leased it in my name and how someone else name got on it is beyond me. This is a big mistake on their end.
Called and talked to spring. I had a wonderful time talking to her. She was very courteous and knowledgeable about the units and pricing.
This location is amazing, they’re very secure and the hours are really good considering the area. Andrea was extremely helpful & very patient with me. Dont be fooled by the 5 star reviews for this location when it was Life Storage. This storage unit location was fantastic when it was under Life Storage. The reason I chose Life Storage was due to their hours of accessibility. It was especially convenient to be able to access my Storage unit that houses my personal belongings after work. Now I have to schedule a day off in advance to get to MY things. There was no security issue with Life Storage being open for longer and it's a ridiculous insurance measure on their behalf to close at the same time that most people clock out for the day. I will be moving out this month because of this inconvenience as well as the other changes that had to be made in the transfer of ownership. I have used Storage Units with other companies in the past and Public Storage is the only company that has continued to inconvenience me with access to my belongings.
