This location is superb. It is very secure, clean, large, and the staff are fantastic. No bait and switch tactics here. Everything is transparent and thorough explanations given at request if ever needed. I had a terrible experience at another location-- it's nice to receive excellence here at this location. I can't say enough about Public Storage at 1105 Dayton Blvd. - Yes, Kim keeps a clean, organized & well-maintained facility, but she is exceptional!
I lost my Dad a couple years ago & took over payments on his unit on Polymer Drive. I have yet to gather the gumption to look in his unit much less clean it out... I was very emotional at times, so to make it less stressful, Kim offered the option of paying at her location, since I just live around the corner.
Kim knows me as soon as I walk in the door & always greets me with a smile and a cheery "Hello" AND she knows my unit number AND she knows what location! That is true customer service. She also offered to help me find the right size unit for my (and some of Dad's too) things when the time comes to clean out the other one - I will definitely be moving to her location!
I look forward to my visit with Kim each month - she is professional, kind & funny, too! I highly recommend this location for your storage needs!

I was in my storage unit at Public Storage on Dayton Boulevard the other evening and suddenly found myself desperately in need of a ladder. I hustled on over to the office to see if the on-site manager had one I could use, but when I saw her pulling away from the building in her car I realized that the office had just closed for the day and she was heading home. She must have seen the desperate look on my face, because she stopped backing out of her parking space and rolled down her window to ask me if I needed something. I told her that I had been hoping to borrow a ladder for about two minutes, but that I saw I had caught her when she was leaving for the day and I guessed I was out of luck. To my surprise, she reparked her car and cheerily told me she would be happy to let me borrow a ladder, because she was not in any great hurry anyway. She got me the ladder, I used it inside my storage unit for a couple minutes, and then I brought it back to her. She absolutely did not have to acommodate me since she had officially clocked out for the day, and most people would probably not have done what she did. Yet not only did she do it, she was happy to do it and went out of her way to help me. Her name is Kim, and I just wanted to let everyone know that she is a great representative for Public Storage and deserves a raise! Thank you so much, Kim, for being so kind! :-)

Kim did such an incredible job making an extremely stressful situation turn into a very comfortable and organized day. Not knowing anything about renting a storage unit when I walked in, I left very confident about how to access my unit when I returned. She was very clear in her explanation of the how the locks work, how to use the app to gain access to the building, and the hours you are allowed to go in. She was extremely thorough in explaining the pricing, which was fantastic, and the billing and automatic draft process.
Kim takes a lot of pride in her job, and the properties she oversees. The entire place was spotless, grounds, parking lot, restrooms, hallways, etc.
It truly was a pleasure doing business with someone who loves their job, and genuinely wants all of her occupants to have an excellent experience.

Mrs. Kim was absolutely outstanding! She was very kind, relatable, and extremely helpful regarding the whole renting, maintaining, and using the storage unit process. I'd definitely recommend this spot for storage.
Manager is great, but public storage is a bait and switch. I was given a rate, moved in and than 3 month later got a letter that the rent was going up. Will never rent public storage again. Talked to a friend and they did him the same way. 100% increase in little over a year. They don't tell you that when you move in.

Only bummer was a slight blip in the system, I rented a 5x5 but my unit only measured out to be exactly 5x4.2 inches.
I was given a corporate number to contact about the issue, and hope they will give me some kind of discount because I was really counting on utilizing every inch of the space I payed for. I ended ip having to squeeze things in a bit more than I would have liked.
Will follow up with the outcome!

Ms Kim does an awesome job explaining the whole procedure from the different types of storage units through making sure you understand how to access the secure building. Prices are extremely reasonable and the building is very well maintained/clean. Ms Kim also makes herself available for any assistance needed. Highly recommend!
Avoid!! We just received a notice via e-mail that next month the monthly rate will unilaterally increase by roughly 50%. That is a price increase of $792.00 per year for a 10 foot by 10 foot unit!
We all cope with inflation, but not even food or gas prices jump 50% overnight!
Public Storage provided no explanation for why they think they are entitled to a corporate greed money-grab 50% rate increase overnight. Small businesses have to control overhead, and it’s time to rate shop this elsewhere!
I’ve had a very good experience with this public storage location , no trouble whatsoever. The staff is also very nice , Ms.Sherry in particular is very friendly.

Great location, maintained well and Kim the property manager made everything easier then expected. I’ve been using this Public Storage location for years, since before it was Public Storage, and I’ve always been happy with the decision. The manager Keith is always helpful whenever I need something. They keep the place in good condition and the rates are reasonable (and don’t keep going up every other month like some places).
Very friendly staff, signing up and paying my bill is so easy ! They were helpful with my move in process and the maintenance man Keith is amazing!
Really clean facility and even open on Sundays! I ended up renting 4 units, and the manager Kim was extremely helpful, professional and friendly from the beginning until the end. Quick and easy experience to get a unit
Keith at the Dayton Blvd Location was an Exceptional Customer Care Representative. He answered all of my questions and concerns thoroughly with a Smile and Patience. The facility was evtremely clean indoor/outdoor. I Love the extra security at the elevators with putting in your assigned code to enter a designated floor. GREAT COMPANY!!
Keith S. went above and beyond to help me pick the right size unit. He provided me a tour of the units of interest and also gave me helpful information to take home. He made me feel welcomed and he was extremely professional. His help was much appreciated
These facilities are great. Super clean, new and safe feeling. There have always been carts available for me, which is something that drives me crazy if there are none available.
I had visited a few other storage places in Chatt before settling here, and found other employees to be super rude. The gentleman at the front here, Keith, is very kind and pleasant to talk with. He gave me lots of local suggestions about Chattanooga as a new resident, which I appreciated!

This facility is absolutely fantastic! If you're a person that's starting a small business or you have a business that's expanding and you need to move to this area this is the facility to use. The people that work here are incredibly friendly they're very helpful and just an overall pleasure to work with. They have units of various sizes that will meet any storage need that you have. The manager Danny the manager was very helpful and went above and beyond for me and my company. My hats off to you Public Storage of Chattanooga.

called the 800 number, reserved a unit, did exactly what was instructed. Email stated to call the local facility, when i did someone had rented the space online. In other words no reservation was held by the Call Center. DO NOT CALL 800 NUMBER!! MAKE RESERVATION ONLINE or find another place that will honor a reservation

Rented a 5x10 unit that ended up being too small for all of my belongings. Katelyn in the front office helped me transfer to a 10x10 and made it quick and painless which was really nice. Clean facility, wide elevators, friendly staff. Highly recommend.

I've been sharing a storage unit here with a family member for about a year. Things started off well--it is conveniently located and nicely maintained. However, less than a year after moving our stuff in we got a notice that the rate was increasing by almost 20%! When we reached out to customer service via an online chat to ask why this was, the service rep was extremely curt and unhelpful, and just reminded us that they have a right to increase the rates at any time without any justification. Now, I understand costs go up but this is a pretty major price hike, and brings the pricing well above the area average. I can't help but feel that this is a shady practice used to lock people into higher rates, since obviously, nobody wants to move their stuff to a cheaper unit after having just moved it in. Very unhelpful and unscrupulous company! AVOID!
