Came in with my concerns, along with other storage unit competitive pricing and Sable literally made me feel at ease during this whole process and was able to provide what unit we needed for my husband and I. Hi my name is Nancina Moore, I’m leaving this review for the best self storage facility in Rock Hill SC Public Storage on Ebenezer Road. The staff Flo and Jason they take time to listen to me and make sure that everything at my unit is good and I’m satisfied with their service. I called today and Flo really feel like family she always has a pleasant attitude and she’s never in a hurry also she will ask me if there’s anything else she can do for me! Flo and Jason are the best people that I have ever met and I really like to let the owner know I have family and friends that I have referred to Public Storage. If you ever need a place to store your belongings this is the best time lace to use , I have been with them for a few years but I have used this storage facility before my grandbaby was born in 2005 and I will always be a loyal customer. ZERO STARS!!!! Never, ever, ever rent a storage unit at this location!!!! One of the worst experiences of my life!!!! The door was so damaged the entire bottom of the door was completely torn off!!! They tried to make up for it by offering me a larger unit, but it had recently been repaired due to major water damage from a leak in the roof, which was obviously still occurring!!! There was wet moldy wood still in the unit after the repair!!! The entire roofing system is completely insufficient and needed to be replaced 10-15 years ago!!!! I wouldn't store anything there if they gave me the unit/s for free!!!! Flo and Jason do their best, but they have no control over owners who don't care to make their storage units sufficient, which means the owners don't care at all about the stuff you're storing!!!! Zero stars!!!!!

Best experience I have ever had getting a storage unit. The process was easy and the property is kept clean.
We lost the keys to our unit during a move and Makayla the person in charge the day we needed to access our unit was enormously helpful. She went out of her way to give us information for a locksmith, was very quick to help us figure out the type of lock we needed and checked in with us to make sure everything went smoothly.
Miranda is very knowledgeable about the facility. She spent time with me to help me get a more affordable unit. I cannot thank her enough. She is professional, easy to talk to and funny. The grounds look amazing as well.
I rented storage unit AA014 at Public Storage for a house move, but it turned out to be a terrible experience. The unit had a significant roof leak, causing over $4,000 worth of damage to my belongings. Despite assistance from staff in arranging a unit transfer, the process was time-consuming and burdensome, requiring last-minute costly childcare arrangements.
My attempts to seek compensation for the damage and inconvenience were met with a proposed resolution by Thomas Parks that fell far short of expectations. After over a month of discussions, only a $150 credit was offered, which did not address the losses adequately.
Overall, Public Storage's negligence, inconvenience, and unsatisfactory customer service left me deeply disappointed. I am also concerned that they may be renting out the same unrepaired unit to others, potentially subjecting them to a similar ordeal.
I reluctantly write this review, as I cannot recommend Public Storage and advise others to avoid it.

I cannot tell you how much my family has appreciated having Flo guide us through all of the issues of renting a double storage shed for the last twenty years!!! The shed contains my 99 1/2 year old Mother’s belongings that are extremely important to her and Flo has helped us keeping things up to date and things running smoothly. I will not have anyone but Flo answer my questions and help me!!

I needed a storage area in a pinch last minute on a Saturday. These guys are the answer. I reserved paid and was given a storage area in less than an hour and it was all done 100% online. I have never had an easier time renting anything. Plus they are always running specials like first month free or first month half off. It's really great.
Flo was extremely helpful. I booked using the 800 number. Flo followed up with me and after our chat, we realized I needed something different that would better suit my needs. Flo revised my reservation which happened to be at another location, called ahead to the other location, and got things all squared away.

My lock is missing and I can’t access my unit. I’ve been over-charged and over-fined since I’ve moved my belongings here and now I can’t even access my property. Terrible communication all around and horrible customer service.

They’ve raised my rent without my approval now and have locked me out of my unit again!

Update: someone from corporate named Tom called me about this review. I explained him my situation and that I was hurt on the job in may and having been trying to vacate the premises immediately as I am unable to work and afford the bill.
I pay my dues; and when I have a crew to come move my stuff, they have my unit locked and inaccessible.
Tom read off the notes for this situation; everything the managers said was a lie. They weren’t around Saturday morning for me to move the stuff out either. It’s quite wild. He even coaxed me to spend my last 20$ I had saved for Ubers to my doctors appointments.
Beware of public storage.
If you purchased MO19 and don’t mind contacting me for my items, it would be a blessing. 🫡

Amanda was an amazing person to work with! We didn't have AC in our car and she was nice enough to give everyone a bottle of water. My 4 month of baby got sick while in the office and she threw up everywhere. Ms. Amanda was so sweet and understanding. She jumped up and got some power towels to help with them mess and some wet ones for us to use around our necks in the car. She explained everything about the rental agreement and everything about the unit perfectly. She's a great person to talk to! Also, when I made the reservation online she was nice enough to call to make sure we wanted it and to confirm it.
Great quiet location. Checked in with Flo for my online reservation for storage unit. Flo is really great explain everything so respectfully. Unit is nice cleaned. She advised all kind stuff. She is thankful to me. I recomand this place for rent to everyone with peace of mind.

I will have to say that working with Ms. Flo was probably one of most enjoyable experiences renting from Public Storage. She was very friendly as well as helpful in assisting me. We were in conversation during the process like we had known each other for years. Overall great experience.

It's an okay place for storage but they raise the rent and raise the rent and raise the rent even more. Started out two years ago at less than 50 dollars. Rent went up to 96 dollars ,then to 152 dollars. It was going up again to 192. I decided to get my stuff out. Guess what , I had one load still to move, moved it on the first day if the month and they wanted me to pay 192 dollars for one day. No way .. they don't prorated.

I have rented from this location on 3 different occasions over the years, and all 3 times they have raised the rent on me. After 6 months they will raise your rent automatically, so the price you get up front is just to get you hooked and moved in. Finally I found a different facility that doesn't do that.
