Kim was indispensible in helping me rent a unit. What should have been trivial, turned into a circus of unintelligibe video links, failed video audio, and confusion about availability. When, in desparation I called the posted number, Kim called me back. From that point, she professionally and knowledgably handled and completed the storage rental. Had it not been for Kim's intervention, I would have ended up renting storage space elsewhere.

101 Prescott Way in Goose Creek SC, this pretty has one of the best property managers in the public storage system. Ms. Kim knows what she is doing and is a very helpful and pleasant person. She is quite knowledgeable when it comes to her work related tasks and definitely deserves a promotion for her hard work and dedication.

Just recently rented a small storage unit in 2023, and ran into a small problem. I went in to discuss the situation and was met by employee (Kim). I discussed the issues with her and without hesitation she fixed the situation and I was completely satisfied with her performance and professionalism.

We are SO GLAD we went with this location and this company!! The unit that we just rented is a 10X30 & I had no clue it was be so big!!! I think the unit will fit all of our stuff in it and then some! The facility is really clean and Kim, the associate that helped us.. (not sure if she is a manager, but she should be) well, I can’t say enough good things about her, she is super friendly and walked us through everything, gave us a tour, and answered all the questions we had and then some. She was training the day we rented our space, and I bet that gentleman will be very good as well, because she is very knowledgeable! The unit we got is literally right by the front office, which made my boyfriend feel way better about leaving our stuff there. AND the best part is we got the second month’s rent for free! I know they do have other specials too right now. If you are looking for a storage unit, this place hands down is the best that I’ve seen!! THANKS KIM!!!!!

I’m having to rent a storage unit while I’m deployed. This is my first time doing so and I just wanna thank Kim for helping me find a storage unit perfect for my household size. She explained how to access my storage unit and even gave me tips on how to keep moisture out of my boxes and mattress covers due to the humidity. She also helped me find other items I’ll be needing during my move such as packing tape, mattress covers and boxes. She made this experience so easy and wonderful. I had lost my storage unit keys and called the 101 Prescott Way, Goose Creek, SC location to determine the path ahead. Brandi answered the phone and was very pleasant to speak with. I drove to the location that same day and Brandi had me set up in about 10 minutes. Public Storage definitely hired the right person to interface with their customers. They need to do what it takes to keep employees like Brandi on the payroll!

Ms. Kim made renting a breeze. This was my first time renting a storage unit and Ms. Kim was an amazing property manager. She goes beyond the call of duty and she understands what true customer service is and tries to help in anyway to makes sure her customers are happy and their things are kept safe. I highly recommend this location.

Literally was charge $54 for a single day (without my knowledge!!) when I moved out on the same day of moving in but I guess because I didn’t communicate with them on that day (since they was closed) and communicated the next day whoever gave me a call sneakily ran my card- did not inform me out tell me anything. Disputing the charge with my bank and never getting storage from these people again.

Storage Facilities are a scam as most people already know. Public Storage is no exception. All self storage facilities operate off of the 3D's system. Divorce, Dislocated, and Disaster. If it wasn't for those unfortunate events, self storage wouldn't thrive the way that they do. With that being said, for the past 4 months I have gone to battle with these guys and with no remedy in sight. Each month I have made my rental payments (I currently have 3 units) those payments have not been posted/applied to my units. These payments have cleared my bank. I've given public storage my bank statements to prove these payments have in fact been made. Three months worth of payments for 3 units. Each unit averaging $130. That's almost $400 each month, making a grand total of $1200 for three months. Where did these payments go? Why isn't anyone investigating this? Although I have demanding that an investagation be conducted, one has still to this day not been done. Well that's not the only issue at hand. Being that their system shows no payments being made for three months, I go into default and liens are placed on all my units. That's an additional $250 per unit PLUS three months of late payments for 3 units. PLUS all of the stress and aggrevation. Yes I had to pay it all in full or my units were going up for auction. Nobody at public storage gave a damn, nobody at public storage looked into it. Nobody at public storage seemed to have an ounce of empathy for my situation that was soley caused by them. I had to pay nearly $4000 to save my belongings. At the beginning of my rant I stated it's been four months but I've only given you three months worth of a timeline. Here in the 4th month, after paying all that money, they "accidentally" vacated one of my units. A couple of units down from one of mine was the one they were supposed to vacate. Those people moved out and informed the front office. The front office entered in their system the wrong unit number. Which so happened to be one of mine. Later that afternoon public storage employee go to the unit to make sure it's cleared out and swept so it can be available for the next customer. They drill out my personal lock rolled up the bay door and seen the unit has not been fully emptied as implies. They finish emptying it out and place it as available. This was MY UNIT! Still nothing has been done! NOTHING! I am currently taking all the necassary steps to take them to court.

These guys are great but why does it have to be like paying rent in a home you live in high priced. Here is the thing I understand they are in business of making profits and well that it really but the service they provide is built around the ones who have not the space to put there things, for many different reasons, the point is that Most of the paying customers pay for a space to hold there belongings because they don't have or can't afford to out right purchase there own space to live and/or store there things. This being said if your truly in a business to provide a service that is to cater to then "need" of it customers than do just that. If they were more affordable and less worried about bringing in 4 times or greater that what it cost to operate, you would lose less customers have less defaults therefore less people would be damaged further by the last ditch effort of being able to keep there worldly possessions some where they can trust will be there when they get back on there feet again to be able to make use of such things... Because for most people a storage unit is an extra cost they really can't afford but is the only last resort that is available for them to be able to keep what they own safe and out of the trash or taken. With this being said I appreciate the ability to have available somewhere to store my things that are all I have left because if there wasn't a place like this it would be gone .. But I know your company is merely in business for profits based on your turn over and defaults auctions. Make your service more affordable. Thanks

This Public Storage deserves more than 5 stars just for the Property Manager, Amanda. Excellent customer service! She went over and beyond to accommodate me and made sure that I understood everything that I was getting and how everything worked there. From day 1 when I spoke to her on the phone, she immediately made me feel comfortable with that particular location which means the world to me. She was just the person I needed and I can't thank her enough for her kindness.

Public Storage is a great affordable place to store your important belongings. This is the second time I have used Public Storage at 101 Prescott, Goose Creek, SC. Amanda was a great help in processing my request for a space. I was not certain about the unit size and she easily answered all of my questions. I called and spoke to a Public Storage Representative who was very informative , and patient with myself aswell , I was informed that a resident of the desired storage facility was going to be creating contact with myself. 20 minutes later another very informative Representative of public Storage called , and it was then an appointment to acually see a Storage unit was created.
