My washer and dryer were stolen out of my storage unit upon return from deployment. My storage unit was marked ‘vacated’ and my account was terminated, denying me access to the property gates and storage unit without my knowing or consent. I reported this to the Property Manager [Linda] and District Manager [Bill]. They immediately instructed me to file an insurance claim before offering or attempting to review camera footage. After several phone calls regarding this matter, the District Manager and Property Manager allegedly reviewed the footage and both claimed the camera footage was not sufficient enough, nor able to reveal any evidence of my appliances being stolen. I had filed a Police Report , and a Richland County Sheriff’s Department Officer came to the property and asked to review and obtain the footage in regards to the ‘previous reported burglary crime’ . The Property Manager [Linda] refused to comply with the Officer and denied him access to any of the security footage. The insurance company associated with Public Storage will not contact you back regarding your claim, regardless of submitting all necessary proof and documentation of stolen property;(look up BBB reviews of Orange Door Storage Insurance), as you will find a plethora of negative reviews about claims being left unsolved, denied, or unpaid. As this fiasco has now grown into a legal lawsuit, I stress and advise to please do your research on BBB before making a decision to utilize this storage company, along with its required insurance company partner.

2023 Nov Update: Since recent discussion with the local office, the District Manager has reached out to get feedback. Action is being taken to ensure better services and communication. While local disposal is not allowed at the facility, there are local resources who can take items no longer needed. This office would be willing to provide a list of resources where one can drop off the items or arrange it to be picked up from the customer. Recently received email on dates of maintenance to to improve facilities. This is the quality of service and communication we all like to see. +2 Stars 2023 Oct Update: The facility is well put together, and is clean. But the original staff made this place worth doing business with. Price increases have been painful with little changes to the site. Calls answered by the Corporate line are the Achilles Heal of this business (No empathy. No thoughts conflict resolution, or consideration to options that could be leveraged). Pricing is on part with local storage facilities, with no signs of price gouging like others.

Gave me step by step instructions on how to work the app opening gate, paying bill, helping me locate the unit!! Really a pleasure being greeted by such a friendly positive representative from the company!! Keep up the great work and excellent customer service !!

Unfortunately this is no longer what it use to be. it was bought out by public storage and in so, taking over we now apparently don't care how the property is treated( blocking paths and allowing rented out units to be blocked by abandoned trailers, RVs etc) then when people damage property. we pay a high price every month and have a gated area, they have changed the hours to gain entrance into the unit. Unhappy with how the new company has taken over and allowed these changes that are affecting customers paying for an actual unit, not a nonexistent parking space.

You need to go see Linda she is such a sweetheart I watched her picking up trash and cleaning the property in the cold she is truly a beautiful lady and so proud of her property and getting to know her customers makes renting a great experience

Linda, the manager at this location, has been outstanding to work with, and is always friendly and professional. She's very prompt with a response if I contact her with a question too. The entire experience since I've been renting a unit here has exceeded expectations, and this is the only facility that I recommend to my real estate clients.

Great price compared to Columbia/Lexington. Easy in and out. Secured 24 hours with gate access able from your smartphone. Friendly staffing. Climate controlled units available. Awesomeness

The mgr Linda was very helpful with getting my warehouses set up. I originally rented 2 warehouses and was looking for a 3rd smaller unit in the same section and she came thru when one opened. My 3 units are close together and it’s very convenient.
