Storage facilities such as Public Storage have no issue with vandalism and damage to your storage unit. They operate with the lowest ethical business standards. They offer a “move-in” rate for the first month, which doubles the month after. EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER, THEY INCREASE THE RATES BY UPWARD OF 25% a year. They provide “improvements” on a subjective basis, and don’t mind that the highest insurance plan they offer from “Orange Door” aka Sedgwick doesn’t cover a fraction of what’s inside of most units. The storage facility earns income from your insurance coverage, each and every month. The industry needs to be investigated for corruption, and requires regulatory standards for rent control. In some facilities, such as at the Trevose location, homeless people enter, as I have personally witnessed, and live in the facilities. Additionally, there are renters who pick the least expensive units to have access to the facilities, and some of those renters are the thieves- which I’ve witnessed. I’ve contacted corporate about issues, such as the one you have raised. They think that their boiler plate agreement dismisses any and all liability. Not so quick. Section 2-302 of the Uniform Commercial Code provides that if ANY contract or contract clause is unconscionable, a court may REFUSE TO ENFORCE THE CONTRACT or clause or limit the application of the clause TO AVOID AN UNCONSCIONABLE RESULT. Section 2- 302 was adopted by almost every state, and the principle it embodies has been embraced in other uniform acts. Fault is an integral and pervasive element in contract law. Some areas of contract law, such as UNCONSCIONABILITY, are almost entirely fault based. Other areas, including liability for nonperformance, might superficially appear to be based on strict liability, but can best be understood as resting in significant part on fault. Therefore, was it conscionable or reasonably foreseeable that a secure and gated storage facility with a staff member on the premises 24/7, would be burglarized? Moreover, is it conscionable at the time of contracting that the renter (the “offeree”) had a reasonable expectation that the rates would increase at an unconscionable amount, or increase at an unconscionable about every year. The first response from the storage facilities, such as Public Storage, is: “Unfortunately, we are not able to adjust your rent at this time. If you think a lower cost space will suit your needs we'd be happy to help you find one and facilitate the transfer.” The offeror is placing a burden on the offeree to have to move to another unit. The storage facilities know it’s an inconvenience, and the chances of someone moving is highly unlikely, after the renter has utilized time, resources, and manpower to store their items. Contact your local and state representatives, the BBB, and post reviews online. These are unfair business practices based on greed, and need to be stopped. If you have a choice in selecting where to store your property, and it might be past a year, seek other options. Otherwise, you’re setting yourself up for extortion.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The units are now infested with rats and feces. Any unit up for auction will likely have an infestation. And they are aware of it. This is a danger to one's health and not to mention loss of property. They offer an embarrassing $250 for vermin and have the nerve to take $100 from that. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! FYI I took a screen shot in case it gets deleted.

I was one day late paying the bill so, today 8/20/24, I called to find out the late payment amount. I spoke to Eric who immediately checked how long we have used Public Storage and he called to see if his home office would waive the fee,which they did. I really appreciate Eric going the extra mile for me. It's not often that you get considerate and polite customer service and I want him to know he is very much appreciated.

Different manager every time you call. Rates went from $76/month to $200/month. Storage unit door didn't close properly allowing leaves and mice in. Huge hole in the pavement in front of my unit. Multiple other issues. Don't use this place. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 only bc I like the app and entrance was easy.

My first experience with a storage facility, Maria is kind polite and professional, she answered all of our questions and made us feel very safe and secure, by far best customer service I’ve encountered in all of bucks county!

Staff is wonderful. Prices are fair but after a week late you’ll be charged $40 fee for a $18 unit. The place does have a mice problem tho.. seen one scurry out of my unit and seen plenty of droppings too.

In emergency situation at trevose storage box unit . I reported food on floor different isle . Chips and peanuts and mice were destroying my personal paperwork and they chew on clothes and books. As a homeless person Stephanie. . The great hard work pertinent to Maria at trevose desk was absolutely amazing. She immediately rush to my unit and took care of business swiftly give me a chance to a different building to protect my clothes. I made a reservation online and when I got to the unit it was actually too big. I met with Maria in the office and she was nothing but a great help. She downsized my unit with no issues at all. The facility is kept very nice and clean.

Pros: the staff are friendly Cons: rat infested building! They tried to raise my rate by 25% from one month to the next and the place smells like feces and urine, with rat droppings everywhere. It’s disgusting. Would Not recommend.

Place is dirty and floors are warped.

Policies are ridiculous and expensive. The longer you have the storage unit the more money they charge. I suppose they think you put your things there for the hell of it. We were displaced and now have to pay 400.00 per month. What a disgrace. We will move to another non public storage facility. They should be ashamed of themselves for gouging people and inflating prices. No excuse for it. Please find other options before using this rip off brand.

My experience so far with the location at Old Lincoln Highway has not been good. 1) Nobody is ever there 2) the unit I was suppose to move into had a personal lock , nobody was around so I just moved to the next unit which was suppose to be 10x10 they said well it wasn't. So, I had to move all my stuff into a 3rd unit and bc of that they charged me a moving fee of $50! 3) Place is unprofessional.

Infested with mice, mold, and poor service. I have had my belongings here for 1.5 years and it started out at a rate of $86/ month and as I am moving my stuff out it is now $120/month. I also found that while moving my stuff there is significant damage to many of my things from mold, mice, and possibly some type of bug or catapillar. Every time I try to go to the office, during business hours, they're rarely there. I found the prices too high for the lack of quality service and product received, I would suggest looking elsewhere for storage needs!

If there was a rating of 0 at this location I would recommend it. I came in today asking for wardrobe boxes and employee asked me to step outside because he must’ve felt threatened by my skin color because apparently the boxes were in the safe in the back. Never again will come to a location that asks me to step outside while looking for services.

I hate writing bad reviews, but for my own conscience I need to just share my experience to maybe help someone else avoid what happened to me. I had a small room in the interior, that had an air vent. I guess rain water came in and ruined my stuff. Mold on everything, had to throw it all away. Just be very careful with the unit that you choose. I used the other Public Storage on Flowers Mill Road and never had an issue. First photo is the wall showing the streaking from water from the air vent. Second photo is white mold growing inside a cabinet that was in the unit. Third photo you can see some of the black mold of the far left side of the headboard. All of it smelled horrible, gave me headaches, and had to be tossed.

Facilities aren't very clean but its what you get with a public storage place. Doors are old and banged up but still secure. Could be better, could be worse, but it does the job.

I have been a customer at this location since 2018. I have a 20 by 10 foot unit full of valuables from when I downsized into a smaller home and memories of the past with things that are from parents home that I had no where to put when they passed and their home was sold. I am confident in knowing that all is safe and well protected there. I also have easy and convenient access whenever I need anything from the unit itself. Over and above everything that like and feel comfortable with here is Melanie who has been extremely helpful and understanding when anything happens to comes up. She has helped me several times and is always been professional, understanding of my needs, and willing to go the extra mile to make whatever it is happen for me. I recently contemplated whether or not I wanted to keep this unit or make other arrangements due to the changing economic climate and my increased cost of doing business in the handyman and renovation business. After speaking with Melanie and discussing my needs, I have decided to remain a customer here and feel that I really made a good choice when I trusted them in the first place. Thanks Melanie!

Okay. So I am changing my review drastically. I have never done this before in such a dramatic way, as those who have read my reviews and photos know (almost 6.5 million to date...all very much appreciated BTW). My previous review for this property was one of my very first back in 2018 and based on an experience that my ex-fiance had. Since that time, I have had personal experience as a actual renter there for almost 4 years. Since that time, I have seen many changes and have completely changed my opinion if this establishment. This has been entirely driven by Melanie who has helped me on a number of occasions and has really shaped up the place.

Its a storage place. It locks.
