Update June 2024:
Scam really. They start upping your rent immediately, and then every 6 months for no reason. Contract says they can but what do they suddenly need more money for every 6 months? Nothing. Just greedy.
I was in a hurry so I didn't catch their names, but the two young women at the office today were excellent and so kind when I'd been having a bad day otherwise. They made my move in and refund of the unit lock super easy and pleasant. They were quick and knew my name, even without having met me beforehand. The energy they gave was just awesome.
This location is perfect and is very convenient for me. I would not want to be at another location. Tiara, the Property Manager, was super helpful and responsive with an issue that I brought to her attention.
Rented a unit for over a year and received a bill for a full month rent for moving out a day late which wasn't a problem however when moving out the unit i discovered dead mice and mice was chewing through my property when I called customer service they told me it was nothing they could do bc I didn't have insurance however I would of never rented there if I knew they had a rodent problem horrible service and would not recommend anyone renting a unit from them

I needed to urgently rent a unit and Tiara the A- Manager was super patient helping me walk through the process. I wasn’t able to close the deal that day so I returned the following day 3/1. Talk about night and day with the customer service, patience and kindness. This day I had Tracy helping me. She must have been over whelmed or having a bad day. She was impatient telling me to do my transaction on line and that energy through me off. The promo that Tiara told me about was no longer available. I could not follow up on rates and promo with Tracy as I kept getting an attitude and rude energy. I remained calm in hopes my energy would rub off and she may have a better day so I get a better explanation and we could complete transaction. I’m not happy I missed promo have gotten calls on storage payments from Megan and Tracy. Plus is she must have been have happy to call me for payment cause her energy was better this time around. 5 is for my initial transaction and improvement of sorts.

They keep sending me texts in the middle of the night about leaving the location late. Tonight I got a text at 1130 pm. and I have been no where near that location after hours. Now let me see if I can get back to sleep. Very inconsiderate.

Tiara has been helping me with my unit for the last 8 months ! She is the property manager there and she is great ! If she is not in the office then she is on the property cleaning out units or helping other guest. I wonder if she gets a day off because she’s always there ! She gave me the whole run down on how to be a great tenant to avoid any fees or inconveniences! She listens to all my drama and never complains or pushes me out. She remembers me every time I call or visit she treats me like I am more than just a tenant and I feel more than comfortable storing my property with her working there. She is always alone and manages the entire property just IMPRESSIVE! I was more than happy to leave a review when she asked because she ALWAYS helps me ! Thank you Tiara you are always an angel

If I could give less than a 1 star I would. I bought the rodent spray and the damp dry for over 3 years I had my unit there. I would actively use these products to no avail. I finally moved out of the unit because the mice infestation was awful and the dampness was uncontrollable even with all the products I purchased and used over the years. The customer service here was NOT good customer service at all, I felt like I was bothering them every time I went there. Ivy Hill may not be the place to store your valuables. Public storage is probably still a good company as I've been to other locations and been treated kindly. This is my experience.

I have been a customer here for almost 5 years. I will say if you pay your bill ON TIME, they will not bother you. If you so happen to fall short and need assistance with something, they are very lenient for the most part... but again, that's if you are a great on time paying customer. I know a lot of older folk had issues with the office staff, but they have to get hip with the Public Storage app. You can pay through the app and open the gate from the app. Upgrade your payment options, and you won't have to deal with the front desk inside the office AT ALL!!! It's is very convenient, especially when opening the gate. You don't have to push in all those numbers in the keypad. You just press a button from the app and the gate opens. Thank me later 😊

My name is Sheila Allen been with PS for several years without any issues. I called customer service about a late charge that I should have not received. They told me they would take care of it and I had nothing to worry about. When I came into Tiara's property at Ivy Hill I was greeted I was listened too and she really went out of her way to correct this mistake for me. She took her time and showed me what was in my account and made sure I left out happy and satisfied with the results. If you have any issues please ask for Tiara B she is so professional and down to earth and very patient

I've been a customer for 3 years and I've found them to be friendly, professional & fair. If you can't get the results you need ask for James the Manager his goal is to always make things right for the costumer.+
The storage location is dry and secured by a gated entrance and your personal locks

I love this public storage. I was having an issue and James really helped me figure it all out. I really enjoyed working with him. Someone should give that guy a raise! He didn’t have to take the time to help me figure out my problem but he was nice and patient and I left a happy camper!

Kudos to James at the Ivy Hill location. I was in a quandary financially until my social security check arrived to pay my storage bill. Because of his suburb customer service, I was allowed to access my storage to put one item away. If James had not been so understanding and helpful I don't no what I would have done. It's people like him that make this a better world .Because of his excellent customer service I have referred Public Storage to my friends and family.
