Ron, I appreciate him for his help. I’m so grateful he saved my broken spirit.. I had just grieved my cousin in the Barbados. And right after the funeral I got a phone call that the payment didn’t go through on the 11/6/2024 , I was devastated. Because now I have overdraft and late payments. I recently vacated my unit after 15 years. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I opened up boxes, bags, etc after all this time. I was pleasantly surprised to find not one bug or rodent and creeped into my belongings. I had a variety of items in my unit including pictures, clothes, documents and electronic equipment. The property is very clean and the gentleman who helped me on my last day was very helpful. I highly recommend utilizing this property. 15 years is a long time to store items and to receive those items back without any issues is a huge win for anyone.
I'd like to Thank Manish, a staff member at Public Storage for his professionalism, his courteousness, and his friendliness in addressing a serious matter at my unit. A tree limb had fallen on my unit, and I couldn't get my car out. Manish promptly addressed the situation, and he moved the tree limb, which was in two, and on top of my unit and on the ground.. and he promptly got me into a new unit and did it with utmost professionalism. My experience with him was very pleasant, and he helped me out above and beyond the call of duty. With people like him I will remain a unit holding member of public storage for many years to come. This storage facility has the worst rodent problem. It literally chewed thru all my late husband's music equipment, and had rodent droppings and urine all over my sentimental things. Just to be told u should have gotten the insurance we offered..... well if i knew it was an infestation there I would have gotten it. Talked to a Regina Boyle who was very rude and unprofessional. Also was told this place is not for storing clothes and mattress which I didn't have such things in there. Please do not put sentimental or anything u care about here. And I didn't want to give it 1 star it would be 0 but it don't let u post it.

This storage facility falls short in prioritizing safety and maintaining proper lighting. Despite several months passing since parts of the storage area lost illumination and trees encroached post-March 2024, repairs remain neglected. Additionally, the recurring rent hikes, ranging from 50% to 100% every five months, further exacerbate the dissatisfaction."

Raised my rent by 50% with zero warning. Only had a unit there for 5 months. I called their corporate office and they hung up on me! I understand raising rents with inflation but an increase of 50% is ridiculous.

Attention, Philadelphia area, the Public Storage on 2700 Grant Ave, it's not a storage to moving in to, they are nasty there, they have rats, they unclean, lier, and greedy, they don't keep there words, and promesses , they over charge you. They don't train there workers well, the manager are very disrespectful and uncoorparete, the storage as mold I have to quickly move out . Don't use that storage.public storage, everyone tell you something different.

Well, my unit was broken into in January 2024, so that explains my lack of stars. The first person that called me just told me the door to my unit was open and things were laying around, and I needed to have someone come put everything back and close the door. I live in California right now, and my things are in Philadelphia, so that was a bit tough to get coordinated with no offer of assistance from Public Storage. I also don't know what has been stolen because I am across the country, so I am fully prepared for this to happen again and for me to have all of my belongings stolen. I haven't been given much information by the property, although it sounds like Audrey is trying. It's been almost a week, with no real update, and they are still reviewing the security footage. According to the police, there were other unit(s) broken into and a report was filed the same day as my incident. There was also another report filed at this location in December 2023 for burglary. While it is convenient to have a storage unit, get the insurance if you are renting at this location, because the chances are the same thing will happen again. At the very least, I should be getting a free month of rent for this headache.

You did so wonderful with me yesterday, from helping me choose storage unit to even going as far as listening to my complaints and getting me the best deals. Even when the computer scrapped out my deal, you helped through my frustration. God bless you plenty! You and Sherrie were an amazing combo yesterday. They are very foggy when you agree to rent one of their facilities and then, they increase your rates based on something that they say : “it’s what you signed , if you don’t like it you free to empty your spot by the end of the month”
Basically it’s a type of …charge…like bput your stuff here now you pay how much we want

I was in a bind and accidentally reserved a unit at a diff location …I came in explained my situation and AUDREY assisted me in not only acquiring a unit at the Grant Ave location BUT ALSO “moving out/canceling “ the unit I accidentally reserved .AND THENNNN in my ridiculousness I was unable to open the door to the new unit , one phone call to AUDREY she said “no problem I’m coming!!” And in seconds was at the unit and opened and explained to me how to open it etc … AUDREYs professionalism and kindness seriously has helped me in an extremely stressful time in my life!! I honestly am so grateful that there is someone working here who CLEARLY is an asset because she not only was extremely professional in explaining all of my options and insurance options etc she was super nice!!! So I HIGHLY recommend this place for the following reasons ..1.AUDREY is amazing and will answer literally any question 2. My wife and I rented and started to fill a locker on July 3. On July 4, when we returned to add more things to the locker, there was a problem with the locker. Fortunately for us, Ron was on duty even on Independence Day. Without his help, we would have been making two round trips home to take back what we brought that day and what we'd already put into the locker the day before.
While we did need to move our stuff to a different locker, that time was certainly better spent than if we'd been taking everything back home.
Our experience with Ron was so positive that today we brought over a family member so he could get his own locker at Public Storage. Ron was there to handle the paperwork, show the locker, and explain all that's involved.
The problem that necessitated moving from our first locker to the second appears to have been fixed.

I have rented storage from public storage for almost a year and I have given price of $200 and they keep increasing my rate by themselves and now I'm paying $243 this is not the right way to be doing business I'm going to move out of there I will never rented storage from them for everyone to just be aware
When I first got there I thought “cool, an outside storage”. I parked and walked into the office and the smell that slapped me across my face was crazy! I went back to my car and got some spray… anyways a young man with dirty blonde hair helped me, pretty sure he was the manager and he was awesome! Super helpful and so sweet and patient. He helped me get the best deal and answered all my questions. He even stayed a later at the storage to make sure me and another customer was good. Good place, good management, I recommend also because it was the cheapest storage I found in Philly that was clean and had remote/code access late

I would give this location 0 , for people who do auction:
1) if you want to get in or get out storage you will wait 20 min to open access gate and they not gonna give temporarily access code
2) stuff left for 50 min so I couldn't leave the place because only they can open the gate
3) Customer service is rude
Like how you can just use your app right from your car to open the gate very convenient and secure, the woman was very nice that was in the office

I paid for two climate controll units in total cost be about 650.00 When we got this heavy rain for about six days. I got a call after the first day telling me there is a flood. They only thought I had one unit which I informed them there where two. Only one unit was destroyed. Hugh puddle at my unit door. Water all down the walls. They gave me free plastic and gave me paperwork for a claim. Never brought out fans to try to dry the unit.never brought out mops. Offer me another unit but I had to move everything remind you I have movers move me in. Each day I went back same thing puddles in front of the unit they did nothing to try to make the situation any worse. Will never use them again.

Storage locker got broken into and they didn’t call us. We found out after seeing that the lock on it didn’t belong to us. They said there’s nothing they can do. Completely unprofessional. Tons of stuff stolen and they did nothing to help us. Completely awful people who said “oh well”
They also were rude about it all and uncooperative. Not even apologetic about not letting us know.
