Rented a unit here, customer service is great helped me out with all my questions that I had and concerns.
My things got wet & molded
Siani was WONDERFUL. She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about public storage policies. She went above and beyond showing me how to use the app. She was extremely patient with me when explaining different aspects of Public storage policies.
I had my unit for about 3 months now, I visited recently and it was mouse boom boom all over my items. So I’ll be moving to a different location soon because of that. The main problem I have tho, is the online payment situation is very inefficient I paid on the app and 3 days later I was getting emails and text
“ Public Storage: This is a courtesy notice to help you avoid a late charge on your rent. Rent is due on the 1st of each month.” When I literally already paid then I paid again and it said online it went through but once again I got another notice this time with a fee so my balance went from roughly $50 to $93 even though I paid twice at this point. I called to communicate my issues and instead of supporting they ignored everything I said and told my I can get an extension as if I didn’t already pay them. At this point I just want my stuff so I pull up and at no surprise they revoked my gate access and as usual no staff is around so I couldn’t get in and get my items. The extension day come and I pay them again hoping I’ll gain gate access back but they app and website kept declining my card stating that my account is inactive and I’ll have to go to the site pay in person, the hours of the office is the hours I work so I called and told them that me coming by is physically impossible so they tell me I can pay over the phone and it’ll be an additional fee. I call to pay and was informed my new balance is $195 Almost 4 times the original amount and again I was not able to pay over the phone so I went to the website tried again and with no issues I’m now suddenly able to pay online once it’s almost $200 for those reasons I’ll be removing my stuff and closing my account. The whole process was ridiculous and seems like a money grab and the mouse droppings is disgusting!

The public storage storage facility is by far the worst around the Philadelphia area, the staff including the head manager is the worst, they have no people skills and they never return phone calls to the renter. My locker was absolutely destroyed by the residents, mice and mice pee all over my personal belongings and storage space reeked pee and mice dropping. I immediately moved out of that dirty facility. To the The trash was piled all over the front entrance as you drive in the place and they staff conducted business like it was just another day to them. I immediately called customer service to report the situation at hand and just like the staff they never even seems bothered at all. They need to clean up that place it sure looks very unappealing and like the lower side of Kensington. I’m definitely going to report you the better business bureau.lastly I called the national customer service line on last night and they were as unprofessional and discouraging as usual. I’m definitely going find a more cleaner facility and a friendly staff that will appreciate me as a valued customer.

Today was my first time at Public Storage the one young lady in the front desk greeted me with a smile and welcoming in I told them I never been here and I was looking for a space for a few of my things and they helped me with that today thank you girl.

The staff was horrible. It was an Hispanic girl that work there for a long time and she was so rude and unhelpful. I rent a unit and the elevator was down so I couldn't get my stuff in so I had to rent another location and she refused to give me my money back. I spoke to her manager that eventually gave me my money back. They was so lazy they were both in the office debating on on with on that would clean the unit out for me to move in. They need new staff.

Employees a bit ignorant. Prices a bit high, increasing fees every 6 to 9 months totally Ridiculous.
Staff rude. Other than that it is very clean and looks to be secure. Cameras are everywhere. Fencing around property. Hours of operation sucks!
This place has the worst customer ever. Latasha Jimenez is very threatening. She stated she would kill me because I asked for a dolly and her supervisor. She locked me in the office and would not allow me to get out. Her manager Regina Boyles also commended her actions. She allowed her employee to say she was going to shoot and kill me and lose her job because I wanted to speak to the manager. The police were called and informed myself to make a compliant to headquarters. PLEASE, find somewhere else to take your stuff. You have been warned ….the place is hot with no air conditioner, no lights to see your stuff to separate your things. No dolly’s to get your stuff off the truck.
Very expensive. But, if you can afford it get the garage type where you can just drive up.
Great customer service lots of units
I am having a hard time getting refunded for $30 I paid on Feb. 28 for admin. fees charged without giving me an opportunity to view the (re)allocated storage unit before the payment was taken, which I found to be unethical. I was told after the payment that no trolleys were available at the site, and that customers cannot leave the storage area once the gates were locked at 5:30 pm. I also found the assigned storage unit to be substandard, hard to access, and untidy.
Regina the district manager was very helpful
