I got into town late and was unable to access my unit. I had talked to the property manager to let him know that we wouldn't get there until 8 and all he said was that we had to be out by 9. NOT once during that conversation did he say we need to be there by 6 before the office closed. We showed up and count get into the until and I called the 800 number with ZERO help. We had to sleep in our truck to watch our things so nothing got stolen. Then had to wait until 9:30 the next morning. This was a horrible experience.
David was great, was able to come up with a solution to my problem and handle it quickly and professionally!!!

Watch your account price, "the computer" raised it by $70.. I asked why so a worker fixed it and called me back saying the price will go back up in a couple months.
The super dumb part is if you're 10 minutes late getting out by closing time it won't let you out. Waiting still for ANY manager or Public Storage representative to digitally unlock it through the computer net like it can alter your bill.. 2 stars is two to many

I just received another rate increase from these guys now 30% higher. When I first started renting this unit it was $79 a month. I am now paying $255 for a 10x10 unit. I will be leaving as soon as I can. Scumbags

If I could give no stars I would. I waited since December 2023 for a reimbursement check for my time at this location as I was a customer there for July of 2022. They kept increasing the rent from $100 and something a month to $300 and something a month. I filed a complaint written. They responded with an email stating they are sorry for my inconvenience and they would be reimbursing me to my card, but then when I called he said that the company sent the money via check not deposit for some reason. I spoke to another woman in regards to the matter and never got a response on how they were going to fix this, and how rude as I kept saying I couldn't afford the storage unit after my work injuries and auto accident and my bill was always late because my disability doesn't come in till the 15th of each month, and the manager there knew this but didn't care for a 10x10 C042 I was paying over $200- $300 and something.
I wouldn't recommend this place. You can only get into your strong unit from like 8am-9pm and if you access it after the time permitted you get a notice.
I thought they were going to fix what they started, but this place is just about money and not their customers and if you don't pay for your unit by the 4th of each month you cannot access your storage unit you make a payment. So if you had something in there you could sell to cover the cost. You won't be able to get in.
I hope I helped someone while looking for a storage unit. Definitely not a place you would want to say for over a year at most definitely. We are now February 16th, 2024 @ 7:30pm

Horrible customer service and the manager is a creep. He thinks that he runs the world because he lives at the storage and goes around trying to micromanage from his creepy little shake that he stays in . He reminds me of Norman baits . Weirdo!!!

This facility is no secure and has absolutely no security whatsoever. I stored my belongings here for 1 month and the unit was broken into without any sort of damage done with a public storage issued lock put in place of mine. Someone from this facility is either apart of or heading up some sort of burglary ring. There was no forced entry to my unit and all of the valuable things were meticulously cleaned out. Do not use this facility. For some reason, the cameras were “removed” earlier in the year and the property manager stated they have been denied authorization to install new security systems and the insurance coverage is a joke.

We started with nest storage and when public storage bought them the following year we have been getting $75 price hike every year. Totally greedy corporation. We had enough and just moved out. Found a dead mouse as we were moving out . Yikes. Beware…. Expect an annual price hike once you’ve moved in.

John Danvers at Public Storage on Turner Rd in Salem is the best in customer service that I have run across in a long time. He made my experience with self storage more than tolerable, enjoyable! He was very accommodating and personable and tried to help me save money. I would 100% recommend this facility for anyone looking for a storage unit and that is every bit because of my dealings with John.

Used to be the NEST storage, now bought by some impersonal, greedy, national storage conglomerate that does not care. They DON'T refund prorated rent on storage units vacated mid-month either. GREEDY. Also, BEWARE OF MICE!!! while this is not uncommon in the storage world, this location (at least E-wing, is infested and since there is a common open space above each unit, they freely travel the length of the string of units. Damage was done!
John is amazing, he explains everything in such detail and makes sure you understand and know everything you need to, and where there won't be any surprises. He really cares too!! Recommend this place but also AT THIS LOCATION!! also there's a lady who works there too, she's great and friendly too!!! And prices are reasonable and some of the best rates I could find and that are offered to us in this area.
Great rates, actually the best I found and I searched several different times even online. Got to move in for an awesome rate of $49.99 staff are awesome both the lady in the afternoon and guy named John are amazing, they explain everything and make sure you understand all that u need to. Would definitely recommend this place to others. And it's easy to find and the place has pretty reasonable access hours, and EXTREMELY clean.. love it!! And did I mention I got a 10x15 for only $217 monthly and that's with Insurance ☺️
