Terrible experience. Our indoor storage unit was robbed within 2 weeks of moving in. Locked behind a gate, locked behind a door and locked with an actual lock.
The manager was zero help. I had to call multiple times to check back and see if they found anything useful on their cameras. Manager seemed frustrated that I even asked him to go through the cameras and I honestly don’t believe that he ever did.
Frequently the office would be locked during regular operating hours. Very rarely did anyone answer the phone during normal hours and I would get a call back in a day or two. Even when I went to turn in my lock/keys, no one was in the office despite it being normal hours.
Overall terrible experience and I will never be using a public storage again. They could not care one bit that we were robbed.

This place of business has raised my rate so high that they know I cannot afford it much less now to pay for the fees and rent so high that after losing most everything in a break up and is why I need storage have taken what I had left in the world and with my son's things in there who I lost all I get from them is rude unwavering threat after threat and now I have lost literally everything I own and I cannot do this I just can't so don't trust that anyone has compassion because I'm. Finding the cruel just downright in believable ways to be made to be irrelevant and treating someone who came out of an abusive relationship to treat me with the same disrespect and could care less they are taking the amount they are and posting only the raving reviews now but those that say all the same things I am are no longer visible. They are taking advantage of someone they know is disabled and raising rates so high knowing the situation and refuse to work with me instead say they don't care I am just going to have to accept the fact that they took my things because they were greedy and don't care that coming out of my abusive relationship I'm now being treated the same way by my storage facility who has had ne so stressed out that I'm done I'm done. I'm out of fight. But if there's anything you want to believe about this post please believe your rare is also going to be quadrupled or more by the time your one year being there will cost you and they simply tell you it's too back your delinquent so pay it and I'm not exaggerating or lying I have been talked by the corporate manager in the same time nothing but reading my notes on my account and saying they are required to harass me and threaten my things are going to auction with in the week of the 1st who does that. You will see I just hope they dont push you to far to recover all over a storage unit. Dear gosh anyone have to live on disability and have storage with this company it's disgusting what they are doing to people it truly is

I had thousands of dollars worth of items stolen from my unit here within 3 months of moving in. There is little to no security. This is absolutely not a safe place to store your belongings.
Edit: This facility was robbed more than a dozen times in December 2023 according to KOCO 5 news

I have been looking for a storage unit to store things from one of my rental houses. It appears this storage unit has been robbed numerous times based on a handful of reviews.
I believe it is an INSIDE JOB, or IMPOTENCE on behalf of the storage company to offer storage of belongings and secure them with a working camera. The storage search continues..

PLEASE DO NOT PUT ANY VALUABLES IN HERE! Unit got broken into.
Just a couple of days ago, came in to find out that my 3 expensive suitcases filled with jackets and shoes were stolen from our rental unit. Boxes were torn into for the perpetrators to look through what they wanted.
I cannot confirm if this is an inside job or not since the people working in here were super unhelpful. Never putting anything of real value in there again.
PLEASE RENT FROM ELSEWHERE OR GET RENTAL INSURANCE!!

The lights don’t work and they have NO plans to resolve the situation.
They don’t have security cameras anywhere near the unit they put us in and have advised us to add extra locks to our unit as they have had several break ins.
When we asked for a discount- due to them not meeting the basic request that the light situation be fixed, they told us it’s not their fault and said they will do nothing to rectify the situation. Even when before we moved into the unit we had advised them of the light situation.

DO NOT rent here unless you want your unit broke into. Was here three weeks and my unit was robbed for thousands of dollars work of my things. Had to be an inside job. All the office told me was sorry. This a big issue with public storage. There is no cameras in the building or on the property. There is a foot gab between the top of the storage and the bottom of the roll up door. Perfect for employees to rob you. See pics and beware of this place.

This storage facility is one of the friendliest I have ever been to. Kirk (like the Captain) was absolutely amazing and efficient in getting everything we needed. We even forgot something we had said we wanted and he came and found us in the unit to see if we still wanted it. The unit itself was very clean and ready to go. 5/5 would recommend.

Public Storage is very lucky to have Kirk as their manager on 122nd in OKC. Not only is he competent in every aspect, he is honest, friendly and helpful to his customers. I came to Public Storage only because of his good reviews and the satisfaction of previous customers. He showed me the unit personally and even swept it clean before I moved my things in. This guy is worth his weight in gold, so he should not lose any weight soon. He also has a good assistant in David who also was very polite and informative.

Very clean place. Cellphone gate access through bluetooth. If you put a lock on your unit separate from the rim cylinder lock they supply you with, they will place a tiny sticker on it each time they "check it" just to let you know it's been monitored recently. Nice staff, very professional and patient.
