I have had a storage unit at Public Storage in Hilliard, OH., for a few years, and the service at this location, particularly with Robin, is beyond compare. I travel a lot, and it’s good to know that my valuables are safe and secure, and that any changes to policy or entry options are swiftly communicated through several channels. Hands down, the beat experience I’ve had within the last 15 years.
Paris at the Hilliard Rome location was absolutely fantastic!! I had been in and out of that storage unit for the last several days struggling to get everything in, and she saw me and offered to grab me a cart (I had no idea those were available, which is my fault) but it saved me a lot of time and effort getting the rest of my items in. We hung out and chatted for a minute and she was always very kind and friendly. Thank you for your help today Paris!!
Eric was wonderful in assisting me with information regarding spaces. I would definitely rent when needed and he is an asset to the company. Very knowledgeable.
UPDATE: Robin no longer works here and there are no people at this location, they only care about how much money they can take from you before you can no longer pay.
Worst storage place ever. Was better when it was Cardinal storage. Very disappointed, can no longer pay, childhood is locked in a unit and will be sold because they are charging $280 a month, used to be $112

Very corrupt business. I go to the 4060 morse road location but the company itself is robbery raising my rent nearly every month where I can't afford it anymore. I've been out of work for 6 months for medical reasons and my property manager is personally retaliating against me I believe. I am resorting to selling my personal belongings with the goal of no longer having a storage unit here. Be warned....don't do business with these guys. They get you in the door with a good rate and then find any and all excuse to raise it.

Typical storage place. Annoyed that revised phone app needed for access no longer remembers my password, so have to enter it every visit! They also raised the prices and require a $15/month insurance fee - a new moneymaking scam all storage places are now doing even if you have nothing of real value in the unit!

Don't do anything online, they don't work together with the actually location, so that way the can steal more of your money. I did my vacate notice online, received an email stating that I was taken care of. Was charged for the next two months, when I called, they transferred me around a couple time till I transferred back to my renting location. The lady there offered only to cancel my account with no refund. When I complained that this was suppose to be taken care of two months prior, she offered no assistance with a remedy, which leads me to be leave this is part of their scam. They also raise the rates every couple of months. Pretty shady.

The 2221rome hilliard location is all you could ask for in self storage. Each employee that I have worked with have been cheerful, helpful and very knowledgeable. Well this has been one of the worst moving experiences I’ve ever had I call to get a rate for my apartment the representative gives me a quote for a unit that wouldn’t hold all of my items so I’m forced to rent another unit to accommodate my other items which totaled over $300. Oh I was told that I could get a bigger unit later, while paying movers $150.per hour. Prior to that when I went to pay for my first unit and the clerk told me before she gives me the key to my unit I had to go online then and give them 5 stars at that very moment. So fast forward about 10 days I get a call stating I owe another $100+.00 for monthly fees so over 400 for 2 weeks. I pray that this is My last time ever having to us Public Storage
I wish we could get access 24/7 or at least a little longer then 9 pm

We've been coming to this specific location for years and Mrs. Robin has always been helpful and finds us just what we need. They've always had the best deals and the nicest/cleanest storage facilities. If moving or in transitioning housing or even downsizing definitely recommend this location if it's closest or one of there sister locations.

Robin is absolutely phenomenal when it comes to customer service, I have had storage units in my past that I can't even get a phone call back when I have a question, Robin always call back (PROMPTLY) never one or even two days later. Robin is so very supportive with anything that she has control of (Of course not the raise of the storage prices, that she has no control of) Anything else she is AWESOME!

Hard to communicate with with, you have to leave a message and they'll call you back. Price on my unit doubled since I moved in. Otherwise an unremarkable storage facility.
I've been a customer since 2018 and needed a larger unit because we are starting to remodel. Robin was so helpful ensuring that we got the size we needed for our furniture and explained moving from the smaller unit to the larger one.
I am thankful that she was there today.

Looking for a place to store your belongings well look no further. Public Storage Hilliard is the place to go. I have been communicating with Robin and she is the best. She is so nice and is always helpful. I recently lost my key to my storage unit and I called Robin and she told me what I needed to do. In the meantime I found my key and I had already paid for a new key and she said not a problem…she immediately refunded my money to my account. So give them a try.

Robin has made my time at Public Storage wonderful. She's always willing to help and provides excellent customer service and communication. We stored our belongings here for two years! Minus public storage raising their prices multiple times (which Robin has no control over) I would definitely recommend!
