Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 4021 Marlane Dr, Grove City, OH

The manager here at this location is very friendly and so very nice.She helped me extend my rate for 3 months at the same price.Along with a courtesy lock was placed on my unit to keep my unit safe cause I forgot to replace my old ones.I would recommend anyone to this Public Storage facility.I am very pleased with how the manager here handles the units and business.I would give 6 stars if possible.Lol.A bonus star needs to be added for such an amazing manager.Thank you Lisa.

Our unit was broken into and ransacked. Looks like they had plenty of time. Recommend having an ALARM or SECURITY CAMERA/MOTION DETECTOR if you rent a unit here. 🙁

Arranged for my unit online, when I arrived everything was complete and ready. So easy a caveman could do it.

Went in not knowing what we wanted. Lisa did a great job helping us decide, took her time to show us the different sizes. Made the process super fast and easy.

Been at this storage almost 3 months now and I love it! Lisa in the office is amazing! Always super nice and very helpful. Greets you when you’re driving in or leaving out. I left my truck lights on once and she called me to tell me so that my battery wouldn’t die. This is the first storage that I’ve used that I absolutely love the staff.

You’re better off storing your belongings outside. When moving my property out I notice a lot of my things were water damaged and soaking wet! Not happy at all my very expensive sleep number headboard and footboard is discolored due to water leaking in on it! Pissed

Ensure that you have your lock and Insurance, Area Manager will not Answer Nor call you back, your storage is auction without a notice.

Heavy increases on storage unit pricing every few months with little notice. Person at front desk charged me a full month for being one day late on vacating.

Amy was very helpful and always tries to get me a lower rate.

Sorry I cant give them 0 stars. This place is a total joke. They advertised a price online to reserve a unit and when I went onsite to complete the rental the price went up for the unit alone (not accounting for taxes and admin fees of course). Nobody could figure out why the price difference. Weather strip needed replaced. Work order is still on hold 2 weeks later and snow and rain got into the unit. I never heard back from the manager about adjusting the monthly rental price to honor my reservation quote as promised. Never again. Do not pick this location unless you want to be robbed and lied to.

Price changes to much. They also make you buy a lock from them. Even if you have a lock that fits their units. Staff is hard to reach. They have been missing most of the time. Also some of the staff they have had there aren't very nice. They have been very rude to myself and others. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for storage.

The front desk attendee was immaculate!!!! Best customer service that I have had. I work in customer service and she sounds like me. Big props to AMY!!!! The storage size are nice and have variety from small to XL!! Super straight forward and easy to understand and they even provide you with insurance for your things, $15 additional cost every month and up to $5000 in damages. Best service 25/10, I would rate 6 stars I'd I could!!

This storage on Marlane is very nice NOW n certainly wasnt before Amy took over management n is actually on site. It was unattended n not clean or serviceable. This company n their website system for reservations is a joke on any consumer reserving a unit since a reservation only works if you complete the full process n pay for your desired unit. Customer service will argue terms like hold n confirm n accuse you of not doing the pricess correctly when the only way to do it correctly is to pony up the funds. There is NO holding n NO reserving a unit. In an attempt to remedy the situation, it was expected that I take a different size unit or move to one of their other sites as if I didnt know what I needed and/or had limits on amounts n distance with money to urn on extra fuel n line their pockets. The fact still remained that they rented out my reserved unit prior to my reservation date n time!!!!! My reserved unit was the only one available n I reserved days in advance n got a confirmation email with a confirmation number n date n time. I came in a day early to pay for it to find out that it was rented to someone else n I no longer had a unit the size I wanted n needed to downsize from my current larger unit. AGAIN: CS n website a major joke!!!! Apparently per the response given by Public Storage, its a form response that does not address the issues of their incompetance but rather puts the burden of blame on that specific site. As stated before, I went into that sites office so management is aware, duh!!!!!

Where do I start... Was told the complex was fully monitored by cameras and had a code required gate. I have seen only one small camera for the 150 or so feet of parking storage on the (P) parking side. The code required gate stays open for long periods of time. The spots arent marked well, and someone was in my spot when it tried to park my camper. I was told vehicles had to be in operational condition yet there are many crashed cars and vehicles with flats tires that havent moved in ages. Maneuvering a 30ft camper in this complex isn't the easiest thing plus the trees are so overgrown I have to drive through low hanging and overgrown branches to get to my spot. The workers arent helpful at all and the manager doesn't return calls promptly. When I spoke to the manager I was told she was trying to resolve the issues yet a week later still nothing has changed. I am very dissapointed with the amount I have paid for a parking spot when the location doesnt live up to what is promised in the contract. Also I have been unable to find any contact info for corporate or any higher authority to have the issues resolved. Poor customer service and poor quality facilities!!

Miss Robin is such a sweet lady! I needed to get a new lock for my unit and no one was at the office.( no call/no show) Miss Robin showed up within minutes from their Hilliard location to help me. I recommend she get a raise!
