I have been moved out of this unit since January 30, 2026. I called the move out in, though there wasn’t even a prompt for that. To get a live rep I had to say I wanted to complete a move in. I spoke with a property manager a couple of days after February first, who advised she would have someone take a look and confirm move out that day. No one ever looked, okay fine I’ve been moved out. They continue to call me for collection, again I have been moved out since the above noted day. I tried to find information to contact corporate because I took proper steps to move out by calling and removing my lock. They can confirm my last entry day at the property it still call me on a daily basis. I normally would have just clicked the number but since I can’t seem to get resolve maybe feedback from an actual former customer will give you some insight on what to expect after your move out.

I love this! My storage unit was outside but clean, bug free, and as promised! I couldn’t be happier with my experience! Everyone is nice they keep the common areas clean. Overall a great experience. Sometimes the Bluetooth gate access doesn’t work but outside of that super happy with my unit.

I have been renting from this property for a while and needed to move my belongings to a smaller unit asap as in the same day! Jade helped me transition smoothly and made sure I didn’t get extra charges. She updated my gate code and refunded my lock fee since I still had my own lock. Jade searched around the property before she left to help me find a dolly. Also, I had zero damages to my belongings as my initial unit had stayed dry all year. The ceilings are well insulated which is important to me since I have lost things in the past at other businesses. A+

Exit gate keypad at location is broken making getting out of the facility extremely challenging. Luckily people came in or we wouldn't have been able to leave during our trips. Other storage facilities offer carts onsite to help you move in/out none were in evidence here. Location is clean and quiet which is about the only good thing it has going for it.
Super easy process for renting and move in! Jade was extremely helpful and kind and helped make the moving process as smooth as possible! She helped us find our unit, figure out the best way to unload, and made sure we were completely set and good to go before she left.

With so many businesses doing everything electronically which is so frustrating to customers, it was great to have someone present to help and answer questions.
I had an amazing worker at Public Service named Jade assist me today. She was sincere and took the time to help me when my storage door was stuck. Literally driving to the Blacklick location to come help me. I appreciate her so much and if I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Been at this storage unit going on a month and a half. I've met some wonderful people Kaley included and Danielle phenomenal employees. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable to make you feel safe to make you feel as if your service is valued and much appreciated as tenant few times I had a few concerns. Danielle has went out of way above and beyond to assist and any of my concerns so has Kaley phenomenal representatives. Great customer service, the morale, the aura all of the above. I have nothing but great things to say. Danielle. Keep doing what you're doing kaley has a phenomenal team at this location. They all go hand in hand. Great communication. Very comprehensive and easy to express what I feel can be challenging but as always shined and resolved any one of my issues or concerns, thank you all so much. This is at least the best I can do

The manager is very friendly and the location is clean and well maintained. The only issue is that they did not have any carts to haul in your item. All other locations i have been to provide this at no additional charge. I was told they get stolen. This could be a deal breaker.
Stole $30 downpayment from my friend after she made a down payment on a unit. They claimed they were out of locks so she would have to go buy her own. After spending another $10 on a lock and waiting 3 days for it to come in through Amazon, she arrived at her unit and apparently the business closed her account after 2 days they saw there was no lock on it and storage unit was empty. they did NOT call or contact. They then refused to give her money back for something she paid for and didn’t receive. Then the business expected her to pay more money for another unit.
Do not go here. Very sketchy and unprofessional.

Since renting with Public Storage, my monthly rate kept increasing. In fact, after downsizing to a smaller unit, my rent increased only two weeks after signing up for the new unit.
I was also unable to access my unit one day because the gate was broken. When I tried to reach someone to get assistance, I was routed to a call center and the rep forwarded me to the local office's number but no one picked up or returned my call. That same day we walked around the building and noticed a back gate was open. So literally anyone off the street would have access to the units. When I tried to inform Public Storage about this. Their response was "There's an apartment back there." Okay, so what, why can't you keep our units secured from the general public?
I was also supposed to receive a credit on my account for my inconvenience and I was told it would be applied to my next months rent. But I have already vacated my unit. I want the credit applied back to my credit card.
I am extremely dissatisfied with Public Storage and would warn anyone thinking of using them for storage to avoid them and the hassle.

I had a great deal for my first month on a huge unit that I only need temporarily! My second unit was available immediately in an emergency and I love the app which makes it easy to check into the gate. Staff are very helpful!

This used to be Gahanna Self Storage and now under ownership of Public Storage. They offer rates of $88 for the same 10 x 10 unit I have. I call them to see if they'll bring down my rate since I am a new client to them and they tell me no. Cool, I will just take my business elsewhere. It is sad they you all treat people like this. Your customer service is trash as well. I called several times then received a call back TWO days later. Same with when I went to the grounds to access my unit and I couldn't get in and the key pad reader said "See Manager" well guess what.. No one was there and I had stuff to get out for an outing but couldn't get my own stuff out of storage. Ridiculous.
Denied access to a unit that I pay for! The gate code is disabled. We do not have access to our belongings.
We used it for a few days to secure our vehicle while on a family trip. We were pleased with the security and ease of access for clients.

Monthly rent increases of 20 plus dollars a month monthly bill went from 180 to 300 plus for one storage unit in a matter of less then a year all because they wanted to wax for there newly build units they just had added . Plus paid for climate controlled units for their temperature to be set at 45 in the winter . Check pics for further info

Do not rent here. I havey stuff stored here. I went to get my trailer and lift to go to work, and found it buried in by 1000's of pounds of soil and damaged fendor from where their expanding there facility. I called them left numerous messages took them 2 days to get back with me then it took them two days to move the soil from around my equipment. When asked about what would be done with it they compensated me with a measly credit for the parking space for one month. This place does not care about their tenants. I would suggest looking elsewhere. During this time of expansion they are also leaving their front gate open for weeks on end so anybody can get back there to their supposedly secure facility.
Location is very supportive, staff is always friendly, access in and out is very convenient. I highly recommend for anyone looking for storage space.

Is gone..and my stuff was stolen criminal have my stuff that is from Alabama and Youngstown..the staff is from here Also.....a women here tried to block me from making my payment i documented on sparefoot to notify corporate..that the women at the location tried 2 block me from making my payment...these criminal stole All my children diplomas. They are changing manger and district manager a lot ... Has anyone had there storage sabotage or stolen.. I have had unemployment fraud....Do any of the managers have smokey Gray/ Purple. With white furniture sofa loveseat and chair?wood lamps glass table White bedroom set...That my daughter's furniture from Value City... My daughter graduate from college and had to get new furniture..
These people are pretending know us..they are showing picture that they stole.. All 4 of my children graduated from high school caps and gown...they are looking at my personal friends....

Sylvia was Amazing! I just got a rental not more then 30 min ago and I had to stop everything to send this review. Never had I ever encountered anyone who instantly made me feel like family. Sylvia answered all questions I may of had before I had a chance to ask! Her energy was Infectious and just her alone I would recommend simply self storage for all your storage needs. Sylvia took me to my unit so when I come in I’m not forced to look for it now I can go directly to it. Thank you so much Sylvia for all your help and thank you simply self storage for employing such outstanding people.
Avoid this place if you can. You can never rely on anyone being here (in our experience anyway), you can rarely ever get anyone on the phone as well, "temperature controlled storage" is laughable and not worth the price you pay, there is no dumpster or any trash disposal for customers, as well as no accessible restrooms.
The store manager Lisa Mason was friendly and very helpful. The facility is clean, and secure with cameras throughout the grounds, which offers added peace of mind.
