The first day we checked into renting a space we were assisted by a friendly and informative person. Everything was kept very nice, clean and well lit in all areas. The carts they had for use were in good working order and near the entry every time we were there. Using the app without entering the password every time was also helpful. Upon emptying the storage unit we met Addy who explained what we needed to do so we wouldn't be charged for any more time. Addy was very pleasant, informative and knowledgeable. If we ever need storage space again, we would definitely go here. The space we used was in Eastgate and we highly recommend this location.

The facility is much nicer than most in the area by the same company. However when we visited the sliding doors wouldn’t work properly and at one point I got stuck inside. Fortunately there was someone working that was able to at least get the doors to open. An extreme annoyance was the elevators, they don’t stay open long and having to constantly having to use your phone to use the elevator when you are making multiple trips is exhausting. Also there were multiple times the elevators would not move when I tried going to a different floor. The hallways are super tight. I will say it is the better storage space in the area so far that I e seen.
I love having an inside storage unit. I've never had one before and this storage will help protect my kids tv's. Thank you so much!
The office was always helpful and available. My belongings were in great condition after being stored for 1 year. Teresa was extremely kind and accommodating.

Loving this place so far! Really hoping they don’t price gouge with steep price hikes in a few months because we will leave. That said, it’s super clean. If you’re reading this review and it’s old but not a 1 star, that means they did us right with reasonable price increases every year or so!! Thanks Public Storage!
Update: Too sad. We originally signed our lease on March 7th. June 25th (less than 3.5 months later) they raise our rate 47.7% from $65 to $96. In talking with one of their employees this is their standard process for raising prices. How embarrassing. This is definitely a price gauging scheme IMO. Gotta put companies like this out of business one tenant leaving at a time🫡 so shoutout to all the other businesses in this space not doing this bad business practice. It’s sad (since the space is nice), but goodbye Public Storage!
So far so good. Had a leak but got moved to another unit.
Biggest complaint about the facility so far has to be the complete and utter lack of any airflow inside the building. The HVAC seems entirely off, even if the AC unit is waiting on parts or whatever, those fans need to be running because that is just asking for moisture buildup and mold. All it takes is one person to move some furniture in during the rain and I am entirely sure that water would barely evaporate the way the airflow is through the building currently.
The HVAC does run, but when the fans aren't running at all the air becomes immediately stagnant and extremely humid especially when it's raining outside.
Lavonne called and finished my setup flawlessly! Very pleasant to work with.
When mechanical failures happen at a business, whether things are disastrous or merely annoying depends entirely on the people who work there. Fortunately for me, Public Storage has a team member named Ashley who helped an elevator failure not become calamitous for me.
I had a load of things (heavy things) on a dolly to go from my third floor unit to my car. Unfortunately the elevator stopped on the second floor--on a Sunday evening--and refused to budge. I was able to leave through emergency stairs, but my stuff was now on an unsecured cart on the second floor. I called the main number and Ashley appeared very quickly. She wasn't able to get the elevator operating (I was glad that it was not just my error), but she came back the next morning to see that my things were secured. As soon as the repair crew fixed the elevator, she moved all of my stuff into a storage room and called me with the number of the room and the combination for the lock that kept it safe. I was able to recover it on Monday evening,
In any business, people like Ashley are invaluable. In one in which customers are so dependent on technology, people like her are treasures. Thank you, Public Storage, for having her on your team .
Aside from doubling our rent over the last year...we came in to our unit yesterday and were greeted by hundreds of flying ants IN OUR UNIT AND ALL OVER THE HALLWAY. Piles were also seen crawling around the openings of other storage units. Bug poison was placed just inside the door of our unit...We were never notified of this...only of the rent increase next month!!!
Please dont rent space here. Its been a scam from the get go but this did me and my partner in. Public Storage needs to cease as a company.

WARNING: DO NOT MOVE HERE. Both elevators would not take anyone upon move in to the 2nd floor (my unit was 2nd floor). There are no stairs to travel up there. My only option was to pay MORE for a 1st floor unit. There are no employees here, just a kiosk so no help from anyone in person. And now that I've moved, I received an email saying my unit is now UNLOCKED. BECAUSE NO ONE IS THERE TO MONITOR THE SITE. Absolute worst business I can remember and I regret bringing my stuff here so incredibly much. THIS IS A SCAM PUBLIC STORAGE DO NOT IGNORE THESE WARNINGS!

No one there to help if you need it. Cost continues to increase but building and customer service continue to decline. We finally decided to move out.

Alert: Predatory business practices! I have been a client here more than once in the last 6 years. Tried to find other competitors after their ridiculous price increases following COVID. Public Storage actually bought the property from a local family, so we had to sign a lease with them or move. As a military family we do not live in town. So, moving these items is of great difficulty. Plus, renting a truck costs about $100 each time you need to move. I believe they know this, they know that they’ve bought up all the competition, there is no where else to go anyway. So, you think you’re signing up for a decent deal $34 a month, affordable, and you ask “how long is this price good for?” The agent on the phone says “at least a year.” So, you set up auto pay and think you’re done, anticipating a likely increase heading into the second year. Within two months my first price hike came. I called, but they gave me a line I’d hear every time,”we’ve simply adjusted to current market value”. Recently heard the same thing again, but with the addition of a self pity story that the manager is overwhelmed with calls about the increases. Really? Interesting how the value of storage space went up from $34-$104 in less than a year! I’m still 3 months away from the end of this first year. As a one time “gift” for relief, they’ve decided to take $7 off for 3 months. Laughable as the raise was $30, but sure, saving $7 really takes the squeeze off. Never have I regretted trusting the word of a company more. A total of $75 of increases in 9 months! I kick myself for even trying this company AGAIN. The lease we had after COVID actually tripled as well, but at least that wasn’t all within the first year… it WAS every renewal. So, what’s changed? Other than my ability to care what you do with the stuff i apparently can’t afford to keep anymore. Nice way to treat your military families… let alone any good customer.
Hope ya’ll can find a family member or friend with some garage space. Cause these places aren’t giving any deals that last. PLEASE KNOW THIS IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU TOO. They do not care, there is no recourse, there’s no where else to go in Cincinnati.
Love that it is climate controlled. The interior is very clean and nice. Elevators are extremely spacious and can fit large items. The people that I've spoke to have been very nice and knowledgeable. Love that you can open the door and Elevator door from the app without entering the code.
Everything is very nice with high or low tech options. Our family shares the unit and everyone has easy access.
Great facility
I just wanted to give a shout out to your Eastgate location… and to your manager, Ashley, in particular. My husband and I have two adjoining units at the Eastgate location and in doing her routine security checks, Ashley discovered that one of our two locks was not secure. It was actually locked in the open position… meaning that anyone with access to that floor could have gotten into one (or both) of our storage units. Ashley alerted us immediately and worked with us to get the problem resolved in a very timely manner. This was no small task given that we live more than 500 miles away! We always have appreciated the security measures taken by Public Storage to keep our belongings safe and secure, and I must say, their customer service is truly exemplary!
Horrible company to rent from. Check the small print. My monthly price went from $169 per month for a 10X20 unit to $285 per month. Their response was " You should have checked the fine print". Never again!!!

Everything was great until the move out process. We submitted a date via the app and had our stuff out 1 day early. The unit was cleaned and the locked removed. I called the site manager several times without response. I then started receiving frequent auto emails and texts about payment for the next month. I called the site again today with no response. I sat on hold for an extended period today and was told my case showed the lock was still on and it most definitely was not. I was advised they would look into my case and follow up in 24-hours. Again everything else but the move out was fine. Claiming the lock is still on there when it most definitely was removed and then expecting more money is not ok.
I’ve just now read all the other reviews having issues moving out. Shame on me for not reading earlier. I would not rent from this location.
My storage experience was fine. My stuff wasn’t stolen and I didn’t have any terrible issues with the space itself, a few bugs but nothing insane. The service on the other hand is terrible. My rent was raised to almost $200 from about $125 within a couple of months of me having my stuff there, and on top of that you can’t access it past 9pm…. I’m sorry but paying $200 to keep your stuff and you can’t access it half the time is crazy. The move out process has been terrible. They are trying to charge me for a months rent when I moved out and selected that I was moving out in the app. I then had somebody call me about my past due balance, for a month that I am not there and should not be paying, and I explained the situation and she said she can’t access my payments so she can’t do anything about it. Why are you calling me about payments if you can’t access my payments??? Then I have tried to call and use the automated text systems and can’t get ahold of anybody to help me. I would not recommend this space to anybody. My unit was probably an 8x15 instead of a 10x17, the bathroom was out of order for about 4 months and when it did work there was dirty diapers, trash, human waste and other crap all over the place. All of that aside, the simple task of moving things in and out is terrible. You have to enter a code get in the door and the elevator and if you don’t get in the elevator within about 5 seconds it resets and you have to enter the code again. I know it’s supposed to be a safety feature, but it’s not that safe if you can still just pull the doors open anyways…. I would love to be able to talk to somebody to try and get all of this resolved but I can’t even get ahold of somebody

They locked me out of my unit. Now every time I try and call nobody answers. You can even try calling the company itself and nobody will answer. Go to the website, same thing, nobody will answer. This company basically does what they want and then just ignores everyone who tries to contact them.
Melinda at the front desk was extremely sweet & helpful :) I had a lot of questions that she was able to answer for me so I look forward to storing some of my things at this facility.

Classic bait and switch. Signed up for a reduced "online price", after a few months they jacked the price up 50%.
UPDATE: Company gave me a few month discount to make up for their rapid price increase. I thought this was great and they deserved recognition.
2nd UPDATE: Months later they jacked my rate up to now almost double what they originally advertised me. WORSE PART: THEY ARE STILL ADVERTISING THE LOW RATE.
They offered me an $80 price, jacked it to $120, put it back to $80, Jacked it back to $120, Now jacked it up to $155. While charging me $155 they are offering new people an $80 rate while claiming standard price is $130. If standard price is $130 why am I paying over $150???? I rented a unit less than a year ago. They have increased my rent three times so I moved out. They then said I own another month and I wasn't even there. PUBLIC STORAGE says now they are going to take legal action. I highly suggest not doing business with this outfit.
The storage unit itself is fine. It’s the price gauging that really sinks Public Storage. My 10x15 indoor unit went from around $180/ month to $365/ month in about two years. Meanwhile, the facility removed an in-person staff member and replaced her with a touch screen. When contacting customer service, they were unhelpful and clearly operating from a script designed to deflect from any honest conversation regarding lowering your rate. In other words, they cut costs and services and doubled my rent. In just 2 years.
I would recommend checking out other storage facilities in the area; there are plenty within a few mile radius, and you can often find more competitive rates and more helpful customer service.
High prices and low quality service! Elevator does work half the time. Dirty bathrooms. Poor management!
If I could give no stars, I would. This place is seriously lacking in customer service. I realize it is a self-service business with no staff on site. However, they shouldn't say arrangements can be made to meet a staff member on-site. I tried for a week to set this up. The first time they didn't show up and after repeated requests over the phone to have someone call me, no one ever did. Five days ago I was promised that the district manager would call within 24 hours. In addition, the promotional rate I was given disappeared. The email confirmation showed the rate, but when I clicked to go forward with the reservation it showed the normal rate. Calls about that were a waste of time, too.
The facility is very nice. I like that it is temperature controlled. They also seem to have a bit more security than if you went to a storage place that kept your stuff outside. Every once in awhile, navigating the security doors and elevator can be a little frustrating. But we got through it. When I first got this storage unit, the rate was a little over $100 a month for a decent size unit. Now we are well over $200 a month. I think they realize your stuff is stuck and it's tough to do anything about it. So just beware that the attractive price you get in the beginning will be gone soon.

Alright so I have had my unit at this location since mid 2020, over three years now. Through an ownership change. At first it was very reasonably priced and there were always people there that were able to help should I have any questions or need to pay my bill in store. This past November my family hit a speedbump financially and we were unable to make our rent. As they do they gave us the applicable warnings and eventually leined the unit and cut our lock, this is fine, I understand that. They need to get paid. The trouble started when I stopped in to get back into my unit after paying up to a zero balance. No one works there anymore, the customer service is provided by a kiosk where an employee can Webcam chat with you. They had to take my number and now they're going to give me a call at some point to schedule an appointment to have their lock removed. So not only has my rent gone up by a significant margin, but i have zero access to my property, and they can't tell me when i will. the service they can provide me has dropped off 100%. What if there were an emergency? What type of greed does a company need to have to replace their staff with a webcam kiosk? When I called to ask about being prorated for the days since I paid my bill that they've had me locked away from my property and I was given another less than definite timeline to be contacted by yet another employee to discuss maybe being reimbursed that money. Listen this used to be a normal business, now it's like some weird version of the twilight zone where human beings are attempting to help me from hundreds of miles away via a 5 inch screen. If you don't appreciate self service phone calls or automated assistance systems I suggest you stay FAR away from public storage right now, apparently they're all going this way. When I told them I'm having a hard time reconciling the rising cost of rent with the complete lack of customer service in the building the lady literally responded with "well it says in your leasing agreement that rent can raise at any point for any reason" yes but typically the cost remains related to the service you provide it's completely opposite here. Price continually rises while value diminishes dramatically in one quick stupid move by corporate. Anyone know a storage company in the area with on site staff? Would gladly pay a higher rate to not have to talk to a screen when I have an issue, seeking to move in immediately. 2 stars because I like how clean the unit is kept (was kept?) Idk how that works anymore, maybe a Roomba?
I just read other reviews and omg all of the positive reviews mention employees by name, how can you see that and still pull the trigger on a kiosk based model?!?

Really like the building, great customer service
I rented a 10x20 unit shortly after Covid broke out in 2020 when the original company was Cubesmart. They were wonderful! Then Public Storage bought out my rental space from Cubesmart a little over a year ago. Since Public Storage has owned my unit I have seen my cost of my unit go up by $128. That $128 increase is over the last 9 months. Two, yes two $60+ price increases in nine months. What a ridiculous way of taking care of your clients who have had personal issues and life changing situations. Public Storage takes full advantage of people. I met many people who have recently moved out of their units all for the same reason. I’m told they only raise you once a year. I have met a lady who was hit 3x on 12 months, myself was 2x in 9 months. All at $60+ increases. Will never ever use this company again. When I complained k was told a 10x20 unit is $336 on todays market. When you speak with other storage units their jaws drop when I tell them that. Just got me the same size unit elsewhere for $128.00 for 6 months then it will be $170.00 and no higher after that I’m told. Don’t use these people!

She was so through with her description of the units and willing to show me the units more than once, to ensure I was happy!
