Public storage called the cops on me for being at my unit until 9:15 because I was unloading something. Even the cop said they are ridiculous

No issues with the unit itself whatsoever. Began renting on the 12th. Rented a unit for 5 months. In that 5 months rent went from the promotional rate, to a prorated amount, then to the $80 a month (Cool). Then it was jumped to $160 a month on Jan 1 for no reason. I moved out of the unit between Jan 31 and Feb 3 (well before the 12th) - and was still charged a full $160 for February. It's a wild world in 2024 ya'll. Apparently my fault, I should have read all the fine print. Research other storage companies IMO - ones that have site managers actually available on premises to potentially answer these sort of move out questions and not simply a Kiosk to accept payment.

Very happy with Amelia Public Storage. Sunday morning, my husband and I decided to get a storage unit but we're afraid that we wouldn't be able to secure a unit with it being a Sunday. I went online and was able to complete the process in less than 20 minutes...which was incredibly easy and convenient. By 11am, we had already made two trips to our storage unit. This morning, I received a nice Welcome phone call from Amy. She was very sweet and professional. As someone who is in the customer service industry, I appreciate Amy's efforts. Looking forward to having more space in my home, with a convenient storage location just down the street!

SAVE YOUR $$ This place is a complete rip off! In 1 year they have raised the price (twice) around $70 for NO good reason. And forget about talking to a LIVE person or getting ANY explanation for unwarranted price hikes!
The unit I'm renting is very clean..The people I worked with were so very helpful..im very happy
So easy to get a unit on line and getting in and out of the facility is secure and convenient.
Easy to access. Clean when we arrived.
Expect a 30 to 50% rate increase every few months. The longer you're there, the steeper the increases become, not to mention that the roof leaks in my unit.

I was a customer before public storage even owned it and and after all the years I decided to move out after I discovered everything I owned was gone through and so much was STOLEN!!! I then called the manager and she then informed me there was nothing they could do that I should've had renters insurance!!!! No I'm sorry or NOTHING.... So I moved out and now they are trying to charge me almost 1000$ !!!! If I could leave a review of no stars I Def would've.....RENTERS BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!
