This Public Storage, located on the south side of Sunrise Highway between Long Beach Road and Village Avenue, offers cheap self storage for the Rockville Centre community and surrounding areas.

It’s actually refreshing to know that in 2024 we still have people that are willing to go the extra mile with customer service. I’ve been with Public Storage for years and never had a representative like Noel. He notifies me about up coming payments, he calls me back immediately after leaving a message when in the past i’d have to call at least four times before anyone called me back. He’s patient, courteous and answers all of my questions. He’s a breath of fresh air because nowadays everyone is in a rush and not interested in helping. Noel is definitely one of a kind. A very nice young man. Public Storage is lucky to have him.
Although the renting process was quite simple it is honestly impossible to get here to bring items. The docking unit in the back is always occupied regardless of time and with the dollies provided there isnt enough room to manuver

Employee, Mark was very helpful in addressing a quick move when water was leaking into my space. However I wasn’t compensated for the inconvenience or charged a lesser rate when having to move into a smaller space.
Noel was extremely helpful, while on his lunch break he went out of his way to show me around and teach me the system.
As a clean facility and having places all over and some friendly staff members other not so nice - I will NEVER rent again from public storage. My unit started at a price around 100 dollars, and after that the price jut kept going up & up. About every three months I would get an email about there was another price increase. I went from paying 100 dollars a month to 275 dollars a month within a year!! WHAT A SCAM. Meanwhile I could rent the same space on a different floor for 100 dollars, I would just have to move all my stuff to the new unit. INSANE!!
I than moved out ... and they give you a go around that you have to pay for the whole month. They do not prorate your move out day! I was out on the 1st & 5th day of the month and I had to still pay my whole month's rent. BEWARE they will overcharge you
I must say that yesterday was the first time I went to PS on Sunrise Highway to find an actual person there. His name is Noel, he was so helpful and kind and such a pleasure to deal with. Keep him on board he's a great asset to your company. Nancy

We just had a great experience with Joseph at this Public Storage on Sunrise Highway! Joseph helped us with downsizing to a smaller unit, which we’ve needed to do for a while. He was very informed, professional and had great communication skills. The facility is clean and climate controlled. We’ve had a storage unit here for many years.

Incredible RIP-OFF. Don't be fooled by the introductory rates. My storage fee- for a storage unit- was increased to close to
* $ 500 * a month. Public storage charges close to $100 for a late payment. I don't how I am going to get my things out of the storage unit quickly, but I have to ,somehow, to avoid the increase to close to $500 a month.

If there’s a power outage, there’s no way of getting into your unit. I am totally screwed. I need to get into my unit tonight and of course no one‘s ever available to answer the phone or even the front door the amount they charge each month for their storage units!!! this is absolutely unacceptable!!! I’m screwed and I am very upset. No freight elevator? But of course, how would we know because no one answers the phone! It could be 1pm still no answer!!! I need a storage company that’s open at least 9-5 with a manager that actually picks up the phone!!!! Poor business practice!!!

Company is a complete scam. They will get you in w a low rate and then constantly raise your price. Mine has doubled in 4 years. Dealing w customer service is a nightmare. They advertise units at half the price on paying.

Rockville Centre Public Storage clean however they raised the price without notifying me claiming they did via the mail. They sent every other notification via email, why wasn't the notification copied like my entire transaction history be sent to my Email. Also they charge you perforated price at the beginning if you start in the middle of the month. However this is not extended to them when you're leaving. It very dark and lonely spot at night. Ladies walk with company And finally they seem like every other company to make a kill on customers like some are doing claiming inflation.
Very courteous manager helped get me set up quickly. The site has easy access next to sunrise highway. The site is completely air conditioned and clean. The elevators are modern and automatic. There are not many parking spots available, but that is likely expected at a storage site.

I'm a bit embarrassed to confess that I'm somewhat of a storage expert, renting four different units in two different states. This facility checks all of the boxes. It's clean and well cared for, genuinely climate controlled, safe area, three loading bays, plenty of carts waiting for you outside the large reliable elevator, and it's even walkable to the LIRR. Daniel was kind enough to show me one of the units and give me a tour of the facility before I decided to rent a space. Highly recommend.

I actually came into this location seeking advice for a small issue. Ironically, they are conveniently located 3 blocks from my mechanic. Daniel, Daniel, and TJ literally rose to the occasion and took exceptional care and totally resolved my problem. They are fast, efficient and personable. I highly recommend doing business with them .
