I’ve had my storage unit since August 2023, and every time I had any encounter with the staffing, it’s rude. The rent also has increased twice since. I had found my items being destroyed by the rats infested in this facility. As of November 5th 2024, I visited my storage unit to take some items out, and I noticed that it was broken into. Thousands of dollars in purchases were stolen out of my unit. I’m currently going on day two awaiting for police so I can make a police report. I would not recommend wasting any money to rent at this location. It is very disgusting and the staff are not respectable or have any customer service skills at all. Beware. #storagenightmare.
The Southern Blvd Bronx Public Storage facility is extremely and stuffy, particulary the 7th floor. No one on the staff could change this poor climate control condition. A fellow customer was moving out necause his item were ruined by the extreme heat,, and subsequent mold.. The fan on the 7th floor does not provide any breathable air and there are no windows at all, for relief I do not have any reasonable, or tolerable access to my belongings at this point in my 10x5 room. The stifling heat has been the same for the ,entire summer, again this year. Despite these undeniable facts, the customer service representative who I also reported this to, claims there is nothing they can do. The text chat representative claims it's ultimately up to the facility Team Manager, clearly already knows of these abhorrent connitions. The staff I spoke to avoid, or dread having to work even briefly, on the 7th floor.
To add insult to injury, my monthly bill has ( as of Nov 2024 ) demands an outrageous, and undeserved 25% increase for the current month. Note that the current rent is already 110% higher than my original move-in rent of a couple of years ago. Which was $86.00. Now management is requesting $170.00 per month. My advice to Anyone shopping for storage is to Avoid this Public Storage place.
Back in September I booked and moved my belongings into a storage unit for the first time. It was a little nerve-wracking as I had the grand idea of booking online and trying to find the unit on my own. I originally booked one unit here and when I realised I wasn't going to be able to fit everything in that one unit I went and asked for Roniel's help and he found me a second one. He was so attentive and helpful. He figured out the best one for me, made sure I got a bottom unit when I expressed my concerns with climbing a ladder, and showed me exactly where to go and how to get there. Everything went so smoothly and I didn't feel at all stressed or anxious with this second unit. I really appreciate his help!

Rat infested, i did a move out today 10/26/2024 and they gunna say make sure it’s clean so i go and all my bins and boxes and my dressers and mattress had rat poop on it !! I pray i don’t get sick but everything is getting sanitized i took pictures !! My thing is i pay all this money a month to keep my things safe and stored but obviously it wasn’t safe because rats was running all on my stuff

Coming all the way from Connecticut Genisha definitely was able to assist me in ways that really helped me for starters I made a mistake by picking the wrong locker and she was able to update the information and get me a new locker also she showed me a few different options and was very nice too me

We went to this location to see if we wanted to rent a storage unit. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Kristen, who was very pleasant, and helpful. She is the perfect example of how a person working in a customer service job should work. If she is not a manager in that role she definitely should be! I truly hope that employees there are treated well with great benefits, they must be able to have a stoʻrage unit at no cost, because Kristen is someone that ai would hire to work the front desk at one of my animal hospitals starting her at $28 an hour.
She took the time to show us all of the available units in the size we were looking for explaining every single last detail. After we chose a unit she took the time to show us how to work the elevator, download the app, and work the lock to the unit we selected. I would highly recommend this location, soley based on the experience we received when we were helped by Kristen. If they don't get this employee on their manager team, they are missing out and may loose an amazing employee, someone will pay her big bucks for that level of customer service that is so rare these days.

I want to start off by saying this facility is a very large facility, and the staff here does an amazing job with cleanliness considering how big the facility is. That being said, this morning I happened to rent a sizeable unit. Genisha was very helpful with the procedures to not only get into the unit, but also went above and beyond with accommodating needs that I had with my unit. I recommend anyone within the area, if you’re looking for self storage, great prices and superb customer service, Public Storage is the way to go!
This place is infested with mice. They were coming out the unit as I moved my stuff around the staff are rude as hell and ask customer if they can leave a review as if they were the customer to insure good reviews

This storage facility is dirty, some of the staff is rude, and there is only one elevator for this 8 floor facility. The price for what you pay is not worth it, especially when they raise your rent EVERY THREE MONTHS! There are better Public Storage facilities if you’re willing to go deeper into the bronx.
My husband and I came to open a storage unit today and we got David’s help . The service my husband I received was amazing and refreshing. It can be a nervous experience or process to open a storage unit and David made sure we made the best decisions possible for our storage needs. 367 Public Storage, Southern Blvd, Bronx Ny is the best. It was my first time having things in storage, we went to two, Storage for price etc., before this one.was found and they were horrible, smelly, it made congested being an asthmatic. However, when we came to this one, it was Super clean and my lungs did not act up. Not to mention, one staff was so efficient and the other staff was kind. However, Ms.Jenin, the Supervisor is the one who handled and communicated the most. Ms Jenin is respectful in communication, very kind and explains so well. I recommend this storage. It is the best.
During my visit today I had quite a few questions and wasn’t exactly sure about what I wanted or needed to do. After sorting through and answering all my questions David was extremely helpful in downsizing my unit and explaining all the information to me with great detail. The trip was a success, I was able to cut my bill in half and still accommodate all my belongs into the next unit. Thank you again!

I must say Talia and Janeen are very kind and helpful. I was able to look a NUMERUS AMOUNT of rooms to finally find the one that was suitable for me. When I was then told that my id NYC was not able to be taken. So I had to get my man to come and put it in his name. So he then proceeded to pay for a totally different one on line. Janeen called and explained what happened. I went back the next day and they were able to transfer the payment to the room I wanted. This is definitely a 5star. Experience. The price is great. And the place is definitely secure. If you need storage in the south Bronx I suggest using public storage on Southern Blvd.

I was giving these people over $3,000 a month in rental fees and vacated all 8 of my medium to large units. Corporate, you can thank the nastiest manager I've ever encountered, Genice and the District Manager, Sam, who also "encouraged" me to pull all my business. This is what they do. Don't think because you pay your bills, that your unit won't be locked. These two play a shady game and want access to your belongings. I strongly suggest avoiding doing business with this company. Sam has dominion over all the Bronx locations, including Gerard Avenue and Southern Blvd.

Went to my storage unit and and told I couldn't go to my unit because the elevator was down and there was no access to the floor. If a work order was put in for two days to fix the problem dont you think you should notify your customers.. Very unprofessional . So how do I get compensated for wasting my time going there. I'm waiting for the manager to call me back 5 hours later.

I adjusted my review after having a positive conversation with Mr Rivera, District Manager of PS. He explained to me some policy rules in regards of concerns using PS for 7 years. I was able to express the positives and negatives. I will let ppl decide if they want to use PS but only saw it fair to adjust my review after my conversation with Mr Rivera.

When I moved in, the large elevator for furniture wasn't working. When I returned the dollies at the end, we learned that one of the employees had given my dad's license to another unit renter who lived in deep Brooklyn, and had to go meet the woman on my own dime to retrieve it.
I got a call 2 days later after it rained to say that water had gotten into the building and affected my unit.
I would NOT under any circumstances recommend this location or company.

Today I rented a storage unit with Shaakira and I must say she was the most delightful helpful person I have bumped into in a while. She was extremely courteous and helpful. She offered me a bottle of water and walked me through the process of picking the perfect unit with patience and pleasure.

Tanaysha is friendly, professional, and very helpful. She helped me move into my unit by giving me detailed instructions from beginning to end. She even has style! Hair was on point and she literally wore the perfect footwear to match her gray & orange P.S. Uniform. What was so cool was how I was personally greeted by the keypad after she showed how to input my access code for the elevators.

Chivonnie was a great help to my first storage experience. She helped me to find the perfect size for my stuff. I definitely would recommend coming to this storage.
I was offered a low rate and i didnt know why till after a month or so in, this place as nice as it looks doesnt really have much else but storage. Barely a restroom, no where to throw out any unused storage with fees waiting for you going from $200. They have no ramp for anything heavy you cant use the elevator for elderly to help load things up. so yea

Rented a unit at 367 Southern Blvd in the Bronx and within six months they raised my rent by $79.00 more per month. That's too high. Unless you're rich, you'll lose your stuff in no time here. Multiple calls to Customer Service are no help. Not worth trying. I removed my personal information in the image provided, but this is the email from them. My rate was $202 in February to $281 in March 2022.
Expect LARGE rental increases in a very small amount of time.
