Had an apt with T at the Amherst store for a different location. Everything went smooth sailing. She will direct your way for the easiest rental you can imagine. Very happy with the whole experience and if you need a storage unit, don’t go anywhere else!!

We rented a storage space and we were in the process of moving in to the unit and I forgot to lock it. The site manager placed a lock when they discovered it unlocked. After calling the customer service number, and waiting for someone to assist on a Sunday, “T” was so helpful in getting me back in. We were very happy that we could continue to move in to the unit. She went above and beyond to help us when we really needed it and saved the day.

The property manager was very helpful getting our account setup. She also came out to help me when I couldn’t figure out how to open the unit when we first moved in. Thank you!

I don't like the way they do business. The employees are great but the companys policies suck. Seems like as soon as you're late with a payment, they want to put your stuff up for auction and cut your lock off.

Very clean, easy and honest priced. Honestly that's all you need to read about a storage place. Absolutely would recommend. Only thing I would nit pick is that it is a little tight to get the truck around.

A friend of mine used this storage facility in the past and I thought their rates were very reasonable and their storage facility was very clean and accessible compared to that of Uhaul, and they were very helpful when so I decided to rent also and they were very helpful to me as well, I would recommend this facility to those looking for a nice clean atmosphere to store your items, you can even store your cars and motorcycles there also at a reasonable rate, just want to thank the staff for all their help, especially Judy she went above and beyond within her duties, thanks again! :-) P.S. I’ve actually rented from this facility twice now in the past and I still highly recommend to those looking for a nice clean atmosphere to store your items.

Me and my wife went and rented a unit for the second time from public storage today. We got a great deal on a unit! The girl at the desk that took care of us was named T. She was beyond amazing in helping us with everything we needed.

The worst effing storage place I’ve ever experienced in my life. Leased in June and when I came back in July EVERYTHING was ruined. Water damage soaked everything and all my stuff was covered in mold and rotting apart. Then was told I had to remove the stuff myself for a claim to be started and when I came and took everything to the dumpster the property manager told me we couldn’t throw anything out in their dumpster and that it wasn’t her responsibility (what the hell is your responsibility then????) and to take it all to somewhere else. Had to drive with mold and rotten covered stuff all the way back to my house so I could put it in my dumpster. This place sucks bad save your money and rent from somewhere else.

Be careful. I had my unit from April of 2021 to May of 2022. During that time my rent went from $113-$133 to $186. The $113 was a special promotion but the $ 56 increase (42%) was in less than a year. The only help they would give is to close my account and stop automatic payments . These guys are bait and switch artists. Be careful.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Jayme, who was very helpful on straightening out an issue with unit reservation and payment. She went the extra mile to figure out what needed to be done, and then she did it. She was very professional and very, very helpful!

I never write reviews on any place but I figured people should beware of some stuff before moving. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing the insurance to cover anything but major damage. I had mold on my furniture even after carefully covering everything with plastic, and their “orange door insurance” won’t cover anything because there wasn’t “water damage” or water creating moisture in the unit. Also was charged an extra two months because I forgot to turn auto pay off and left the locks, which apparently I purchased from them which I didn’t know I thought they came on all units, so I won’t be getting reimbursed. That is my mistake for not thoroughly reading every single term and condition, but you’d think the communication could be a little better if I received a move out confirmation email and they didn’t check to see if I was actually moved out. They’ve had to run into the situation before so it concerns me that the communication has not been improved. Like I said, partially my fault for the lock situation, but I wanted to make others considering to rent aware as well since their communication is not the best here. I feel as if I should have been contacted if my locks were left on after I said I was going to move out, maybe they’d assume I wasn’t sure of the process. Either way, be careful. But besides the mold, awful insurance policy, and poor communication, not a bad place to rent from over all just maybe consider a storage facility with more communicative measures in place. And also definitely consider a temperature controlled unit if you plan to keep anything here for more than a couple months as there is potentially a mold issue which is no fun!
