I have to say, I was not looking forward to cleaning out my mom’s storage which was over 15 years old. It was such an emotional experience and thankfully we had Brenda there to help us with everything. Her kindness alone made our day so much easier. The app is great, and there is no contact to set up and use. Used a couple of times in move emergencies, and they've always been great. Location is central to north Reno. Roof top pool under construction. Open bar on Tuesdays.
Brenda is an absolute god send. She helped me in such a stressful time. And got me into a unit that j had lost my keys for, then found, and was on a time crunch. She played by all the rules and helped me follow the rules of the move I was currently in. I can not speak highly enough.

Very long time customer here. Highly professional and polite local staff, clean facilities and very convenient location for my needs. Local staff just repaved the parking lot and it looks great! My only reason for leaving Public Storage was the national company raising rates again. If you’re looking for a storage facility, I would highly recommend.

Do not rent from this place, unless you want to be ripped off. Not sure how they think it is ethical to raise the rent price $100 a month within less than 1 year.

I’ve had Terrible experiences with other public storages but I have to say I love this one! The staff Brenda is always so nice and helpful. I moved from one unit to another on August 7th but had paid rent at the first unit until August 31. Public Storage refused to apply the unused portion of the rent to my account after I was told they would. Even worse, I'm sure they'll rent the unit before the end of the month and double dip on the rent.
I want to update this review. A corporate person from Public Storage named Devin contacted me and genuinely cared about the negative publicity. Devin credited me the months rent toward my new unit and followed up to make sure I was satisfied. I wanted to comment that I'm satisfied with the resolution and appreciate that this company actually was concerned about the negative review. I have increased from 2 stars to 4 stars!

Kat was amazing! I lost my keys and they were able to cut them same day. I was so happy to not have to have a lock smith out to do that. Saved me big time.
This was my first time at this location ( 1020 N. McCarron) Kathy (Short Kathy) is very Helpful,kind,and Courteous.I will definitely come back here for my future storage rentals and plan on telling anyone that's looking for a locker to give this place a try first.
Kathy was so helpful and went above and beyond. We had a hiccup trying to close out our storage shed, but she was able to solve problems immediately. She was patient and even when I got a little buddy about being locked out, she was very understanding.

This place is in an easy location and is clean. I like clean.
What sets it apart from other storage places is the staff. They are obviously helpful but in particular is Kathy. She is knows her stuff and is a crack up.
If you need storage use a reputable company. Public Storage is the place to go. And Kathy will make you smile.

Horrible.I rented a space, was told the hours, was NOT told the gate had been broken over a month and the hours had been drastically cut to business hours only. Can’t get into this location before 9:30am and can’t get in after 6pm. Spoke to the district manager who tried to tell me the gate broke after I rented, but the property mgr AND customer service confirmed it had been broken long before I rented the space. They have been totally unwilling or incapable of adjusting the rates due to the restricted hours and can only keep repeating “I’m just doing what I’m told. We can’t find anyone to fix it” instead of “we are keeping someone onsite until dark to keep the gate open because people work and sometimes have to move.”
I have had a few storages in the past and I've never once had such continuous great customer service from anyone the way I have with Public Storage. I've had some times of struggle and I can't thank them enough for being understanding and caring and working with me and helping me out. The entire staff is literally so kind, helpful and professional and you can actually tell that they do care about you and what's going on in your life and they want to help you keep your stuff. Never experienced such with any other storage company. Thank you Public Storage! Shout out to Helena for being awesome and extremely kind and helpful!

Friendly staff and clean/secure units. Only criticism: if you lose your lock key and you don't have bolt cutters, it will take them 3-5 days to cut your lock....so don't lose your keys.
Very professional. the hours are great the staff is courteous and professional it was very smooth to get rented and it's a great view of reno..probably my favorite part.
