Big thanks to Kristin, I'm not sure what this says about me, but I've been using storage units for 15 years, not just public storage. However, this has been my best stay (4+ years). These are down to earth good people trying their best, like the rest of us, to make it. Say hello and be friendly because they'll go to bat for you. I knocked a hole in the wall by accident and they fixed it, I had to change units several times, they try to work with me with my special needs and pricing limitations. The location is a mile from freeway access, close to GSR Casino, Walmart, gas station near by, propane fill up at gas station, you can use the app to pay your bill/open the gate, and plenty of room for bigger vehicles to swing around. My rent just went from $75 to $99. No advance notice. No explanation. No real way to contact them (all these companies want us to be as accountable as possible but they're not accountable in any way). Find another solution. Blackrock is part owner, btw.

No one present on property. Was locked out for an hour waiting. Staff was rude both times I went this month. They offer low prices than raise as soon as you move in. This company sucks and does t care about customers, just profits. No thanks. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

You have to complain to corporate to get the police involved to put these thieves away. These women have a sick system down where they break into your unit and say you have to come fix it yourself after they’ve broken the law. Petition, email corporate and police about this location, these people are sick.

Three days ive come to the office this month and no one's ever here. I have had a unit here for over 3 years. They raise your rent in the first three months, and then they continue to do so. I started out paying $60 a month here for a small unit. They're now raising my rent to $200 a month.There's other places in town that still do $60 a month for the same size. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of crooks like these

Facility: 3 stars, nothing fancy but competitively priced and acceptable. On Site Management: 0 stars Corporate Management: 0 stars Brenda at Telegraph: 5+++ Stars. She should be the onsite manager. As a business customer for over a year, this is a mixed review. These storage facilities have been fine, overall, and are reasonably priced. However, if you should require an actual human being provide you with assistance, good luck. Even when your problem is the result of a mistake made by Public Storage, you have zero chance of getting that problem corrected through their automated services or app. The facility in Sparks on Boxington has never once had a human being onsite in the year we have had a unit there, and it's nearly impossible to track down or speak with a property manager for either Telegraph or Boxington. If you call, there is absolutely NO WAY to speak to a live human being, and the property manager never, as far as we can tell, answers a call. You may get a return call after leaving a message, or not, but definitely not quickly when you are onsite having an issue and when you call back, you will get no answer again. There is no emergency number for contact - you are stuck leaving a message on the manager's voicemail or trying to chat with a chat bot or download an app that cannot give you personalized attention or address any onsite problems. Short of taking your payment, there's nothing the text REP or app can help you with. The text REP does not even appear to have access to your account information or know whether or not you are an actual customer. This is definitely a situation where the best chance you have of getting a human being to offer you any assistance is if you are lucky enough to catch a non-management employee onsite somewhere. It took us over a month to finally connect with a Public Storage employee who was able and willing to take the time to find our account info and provide us with a gate code so we could actually get into the Boxington facility and access our unit. As a business, it is problematic if a storage facility locks you away from the property you have stored there or doesn't have any record of your account. Thanks so Brenda, after 4-5 weeks of calling and texting and emailing and leaving messages, and several hours of wasted time attempting to contact a manager or live human being, we were finally able to acquire a gate code. FOR BRENDA, THE NEW EMPLOYEE AT TELEGRAPH OFFICE LOCATION, SHE GETS 5+ GOLD STARS. In desperation to gain access to our property stored in the Boxington facility, I was forced to physically stake out the office on Telegraph for over an hour. When Brenda arrived she managed to find our account and provide me with a gate code in 5 minutes, something my company had made multiple attempts to acquire from Public Storage "Management" for over a month. Ironically, it was a management error that de-activated our gate code and cut off our access to our storage unit. Good thing Brenda is there to correct management errors. If not for Brenda, this review would be the lowest number of stars possible.

The employees at the telegraph st. location were more than helpful. Kristin and Johna helped me in the morning to locate a smaller unit than the one I reserved. They were fun and helpful, making the experience a delight. I realized at the end of the day that the storage unit I rented was too small and too far away. I returned a half hour before closing in need of a change. Kathy helped me to cancel the one I rented earlier, and all three of them helped me get it done. The 3 of them went out of their way to make sure I was able to switch rentals. All of them were kind, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. Thank you to all of you. I give them a 5 star rating.

ridiculous rules set forth by management. wouldn't let a experienced truck driver of over 20 years drive a 26 ft Penske in facility ( even though I've driven there in the past) made us unload from the street and turned a 30 min unload into a 2 hour unload ridiculous I won't be back

I really like this place! Great deals and super friendly staff. Kristin and her assistant were extremely helpful. They gave me a tour of the whole place and showed me the unit I was interested in. They got me signed up for that unit in no time and made it as easy and painless as possible. Definitely look at this place for your storage needs!

Great service! Kristin and Felicia were able to give me a tour of the available units and sign me up to rent in just minutes. It was easy, pleasant and quick. The 12x20 unit is clean, with a high ceiling and a wide driveway for easy vehicle access and staging while moving in. And it has a light!

Kristen is great! The snow in front of my unit was hazardous and she offered to shovel it because she knows I'm there everyday . Came in on Friday she had completely removed it all. That is above and beyond excellent sevice.

This required that I show my photo ID with a Public Storage employee in Reno so they could let Portland know I was a real, legit person. Kristen at the Reno Telegraph office was not only quickly aware of what it was I needed done, but was quick, pleasant and professional in making sure it was all taken care of with the Portland office all within a few minutes. The process of being able to reserve and pay online was very easy and helpful for our situation. Great customer service as well.

They raised the monthly rental fees from $280/ month to $395/ month. I would have rented somewhere else if I knew there was going to be price gouging. They took forever to fix the rollup door, so I fixed it myself. They have a new manager who seems to enjoy being the new hall monitor telling everyone what they can and can’t do now. It’s a simple storage place not high security government facility.

The price was excellent and unlike the last storage company I dealt with, I didn’t have methheads blocking access to my unit with their ducktaped shelves and organizination of their Ramen by flavor. Been a renter here a few times over the last two decades. The new management is far and away the best so far, others have seemed overwhelmed but Kristin and her team are very knowledgeable and helpful and handle any issues that arise with ease and professionalism. 100% would recommend this location for your storage needs!!!

I have never had an issue with this storage facility (200 telegraph street) being that I have had 2 units already rented here for going on a year. Unfortunately, with the third unit I needed to rent I was given nothing but problems. No one was ever on site to complete my transaction in the entire 9 days I had been coming here to find the lady, she was always clocked out early or was just simply never onsite. I never received any calls back to confirm my unit, instead they canceled my unit. I had to call other public storages here in town to get ahold of the lady that works here. Today they tried to raise my locked in rate of 188$ due to being in a different unit of the same size. I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of care and consideration of me calling every day and showing up every day to get this resolved. They (the manager onsite and the district manager) only ever made it seem like it was my fault when I’m reality, I was extremely proactive in getting this resolved. I hope you guys have better luck and a more pleasant experience than I did.

Clean and customer friendly

Do not store your items at this location. They have horrible customer service from the people in the office to the GM. I fell behind on a payment and my items were auctioned away. Never received any email or call from them. I was in tears begging them to please notify me when the person who was coming to get my items went to the office. She told me crying and getting emotional won’t solve anything. Very disgusted with these people. They were super rude. Zero compassion. My social security card and birth certificate. Everything I owned since a child. Gone. When I told them this they again didn’t care. They could have atleast called me so the person could have given them my personal info. Again steer clear from this location. I’m truly sickened by these people and their lack of compassion. Karma is a real thing. If you’re going through a tough situation they will make it worse. Horrible people and horrible location.

This location doesn't even deserve one point of a star!!!! They will rob you blind and not even bat an eye lash. I was threatened by an employee. (Who pinned me in at my truck door).They do NOTHING if it snows and you can't get to your unit. It is YOU THE RENTER that is responsible for removing the snow and ice in front of your unit if you need to get in. Even if the downspout is in front of your unit. The managers response is that It's not her job. This is Reno! It snows here, so just make sure (if you are brave or foolish enough)to rent from this location that your unit is not mostly in the shade all day. You will be hating life. The wind also blows really bad here all day. When I reached out to corporate, I received NO response irregardless to the situation and mostly the Threat. RIDICULOUS!!

Poor customer service and their laziness in locking down the property at night caused our unit to be broken into and about $6000 worth of our belongings either stolen or destroyed. Even though they didn’t properly secure the property or fix the broken front gate for more than 5 months, they refused to take responsibility and pay instead telling us to go thru our insurance so my premiums go up and their lack of concern for the protection of everybody’s stuff go unnoticed!
