The worst facility I have ever rented from. From fires and not being able to get into my unit that was not even effected. To the miserable staff there. No one, not even national customer service can help. Renter beware of place. I was held captive cause the gate would not open and there was no staff even though they were “open”.
I just bought a storage unit from the Quakerbridge road location. Amy was AMAZING and so patient. She was knowledgeable took the time to explain everything so clearly. Even though we cam in right before the location was about to close, Amy didn't rush through our visit at all. I would definitely recommend this location to everyone. The customer service was superior and you can tell that Amy loves helping people. She's an asset to the company for sure!!! Thank you for such a great experience!!!

Like some other reviewers, I don't think of customer service as being a priority at self storage companies. My experience at Public Storage on Quakerbridge Road was eye-opening -- specifically, Amy (who was on-site most times I called or went there) embodies excellence in taking care of customers. In my case, I had stored a significant amount of various belongings when I moved to a smaller place in another state, and when it came time to visit and decide what to do with this overflow, I found I had lost the keys. Amy was incredibly helpful in resolving the problem remotely -- escalating my problems to higher-level management, helping me find a way to resolve the problem, and making sure that when I came I'd be able to access my locker even though the lock had been replaced. When I came again to clear it out, she was again extremely helpful, doing whatever she could to make the experience as frictionless as possible. This level of customer care is rare and precious -- Public Storage, I hope you are taking good care of Amy in return for her superlative care of your customers and their belongings.

I have been a public storage for over 10 years. I have seen staff come and go, but not many have stood out like Amy! She is quite exceptional. She is extremely friendly, helpful and has great customer service skills! She has always be there, if I had any problems or concerns. Quakerbridge Public storage is a great facility mostly because of Amy. She should probably get a raise!

This is a storage complex. They will do a power wash and paint job on it in the upcoming days, which is, let's say, over due. They promised to give out plastic drop cover that we can use to protect our stuff in the storage. We tried to pick it up, but the office was closed at 11.00 am Tuesday. The mailman said the place is abandoned for days If not for weeks.
I have had a storage unit here for over 10 years and would not ever store with anyone else
Initially I had a great experience moving in to my unit. The property manager, Amy, was very helpful and explained everything clearly as it was my first time using a self-storage unit.
After being in my unit less than 6 months, I was notified that my monthly rent was going to increase by nearly $20 (!!!) per month. I felt this was a very steep increase considering the price I was already paying was fairly expensive.
After asking about this, I was told that this was due to other storage units going up in the area (which doesn't make any sense because this would likely drive down the rate of my unit). After reading the other reviews, I am less convinced that it is due to this, as other customers seem to have similar experiences after ~4-5 months of being in their unit.
If you are looking for long-term storage, I would look into somewhere that locks down your rate for at least 12 months and/or is more transparent about rate increases upfront.

I’ve only been here once when running errands, walked in and was greeted immediately. Wasn’t sure the right sizes for boxes I needed, and the staff was so helpful with not only getting me what I needed, but with answering all my questions. If I’m ever back in that area, I’ll definitely shop there again.
