In a world full of automated garbage bureaucracy there is one hope and her name is Vicki. These stars are for her and if this place knows what good for it, they will treat her right. More places need Vickis!
First I want to start off by saying Vikki was a great help when I went there for the first time to drop off my items. She had great advice and sound logic on bringing my couch upstairs. Speaking of, the elevator there is quite roomy for items/objects. I was worried it would be too small but I was able to fit everything through there for a large storage unit upstairs. Them having hand trucks helped significantly too.

Public storage in Barnegat deserves the five stars. Not only am I confident that my stuff is secure from break-ins (unlike other storage companies in the area) but the staff is amazing. I fell behind on my payments and Vicki worked tirelessly to help me get caught up and was even able to get me approved for a rebate. I would recommend this company just because of their staff. She makes my trips to pay my storage bill very easy ,smooth and efficient. I felt very welcomed and she has awarming presence ; provided wonderful customer service . It was an enjoyable experience painless and made my experience personal ; assisted me with any questions or concerns that I was having. She is very attentive to details of Public Storage and very knowledgeable about the rule and policies of the storage facility. She is an amazing asset to the company.

I have been a customer and held a storage unit at this facility for many many years. Public Storage bought this facility a year ago and since then the place has been cleaned up and looks great. Amanda is super helpful.
My only complaint is that the price hikes are going to cause me to leave this facility. I understand an annual fee adjustment but not every three months.
Went to rent a storage unit, nobody works there.. called up and they said to do online. Down the road multiple facilities with Humans to help you and take care of your storage needs. Thanks for nothing

I want to start off by saying Vicki was so sweet and helpful!!!! The units seem okay but most importantly, READ THIS: there is a girl named Amanda who is an employee there, im almost lost for words on how ignorant and rude she was to a good friend of mine who has a unit there! I watched her go out of her way to talk to him like he wasn’t even human let alone borderline harassment!!! Relentlessly repeating herself on false accusations towards him and the “rules” as if he did something wrong. She even Lied right to his face about what payments are excepted so he couldn’t pay his unit, saying cash wasn’t excepted knowing that’s what he had. And unfortunately the list goes on. Whoever hired her, shame on you! Wouldn’t recommend this place EVER if she continues to be an employee there!!

Public storage in Barnegat is such a great place to get a storage unit. Victoria was so helpful, friendly, and explained everything so thoroughly. I moved to Toms River but if I ever need a storage unit again, I will drive back to Barnegat because they are the cream of the crop!!!
I highly recommend using this storage facility. I was a little nervous at first about storing my belongings , I've never had to before . First I was greeted with a big welcoming smile by Vikki . She had gone above and beyond to make sure I had the perfect size unit, and reassured that my belongings are very safe while they needed to be stored. So if your looking to store anything I would highly recommend going here ... And make sure to ask for Vikki .

Moving is a nightmare....but Vickie made finding my storage unit very simple (she basically walked me to it) and was very informative, she was very patient as I was a but frustrated already with the moving process as is...the rep who sold me the unit, I unfortunately do not remember his name nailed it with the size I needed....I highly recommend Public Storage.

Definitely recommend this place for storage. Even though it was taken over recently, the manager Vikki stayed and makes every effort to make sure you are satisfied.

Joe is an asset to Simply Safe Storage. Went out of his way to help me and did everything over the phone. When I went to my unit on move in day, it was immaculate as is the whole facility. Can't say enough good things about my experience!! This is my first time using a storage facility. My movers said that they've been to a lot of these facilities and this is by far the nicest and cleanest one they've seen.

Joe was super helpful in answering all of my questions with a last minute need for a storage unit. He was willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had exactly what we needed. I called several other places and this was the most responsive and professional facility.
They gave us a corner unit outside . The unit was not cleaned before they rented to us. After going to the unit after storing our things we saw bug activity and some of the boxes were warped and the items inside ruined from water damage . I realized there was a hole in the top corner of the unit where they put a light. water must have gotten in that way. The insurance they made us buy would not pay our claim apparently because of the conversation they had with Joe. I have rented units for over twenty years and never had this experience. Inspect the unit thoroughly before you rent. Don't make the costly mistake I did.

I have been shopping around for a few months for storage. Customer service and price are both very important to me. Some times you can get a good deal and the customer service is not so great. Its not always easy to get a competitive price and good management/customer service. The reason I chose Simply Self Storage in Barnegat is because of the new Manager, Joe. What a pleasure it was to speak with Joe on the phone. He was professional, courteous, and set me up with the right size storage and competitively priced unit for my budget. I decided immediately that this location was going to meet my needs. Joe made the entire process simple and quick making sure all my questions were answered!! It just so happened that Vicky, (Joe's Mom) was there when I arrived to secure my unit. I can see where Joe learned his ability to easily talk with people and provide professional customer service! I have been with Simply Storage Barnegat since 2019. During this time there have been several changes in management at this location. However, SS has finally landed their lucky golden goose, Joe DiTomasso. My brother & I shared a unit together. Unfortunately, my brother unexpectedly died. Besides having to deal with this tragic loss, I was forced to financially downsize. Joe worked with me as long as it took to make new accommodations. His empathy, professionalism, business acumen all blended in to find a new location for me in Barnegat SS. Joe has patience, difficult to find in today’s workforce. Joe is certainly a future business leader! Thank you Joe.

Was at Simply Storage for 2 years. Was an average experience with a friendly staff. The indoor climate controlled units didn't have lights in them and with a closed ceiling we needed a lantern to light up our unit. We didn't like the month to month lease at Simply Storage - we had a price increase after 90 days just when we were settled in. We ended up moving to the new Extra Space Storage in Manahawkin where we got a unit 1/3 bigger at a price 20% less than what we were paying. The Extra Space Storage is new - you can even lock in the rental pricing for 2 years which we did(unlike Simply Storage). Extra Space Storage even has lights in most units and an indoor loading/unloading area so you can move stuff even when the weather is not great! Extra Space Storage even gives you a lock for free!
