If you are a storage treasure bidder. Possibly someone takes some things from your unit that you won online and your refund takes more than a week or you can lose your money, the office is closed some days and you could waste time, lose money and get stressed.
Looking for Kevin, I'm still waiting for my refund from unit B1907 since April 26, I've wasted time and gas.
And you still haven't resolved my refund.

I had booked and paid for this months before so when Duke move out came, I'd be ready. The code was sent for the gate, confirmed on Friday that she'd be moving in that weekend. BUT.. when she arrived with all her stuff, her unit was locked and it was during office hours. They did not answer and 3 hours later, national public storage was able to find a manager from the nearby store to come cut the lock (that should not have been on there) off. Meanwhile, she missed her flight home. Still waiting for a return call from all my frantic voicemails.
The property manager is non-existent. Tried calling on six different days, all weekdays during business hours, and never once did a human pick up the phone. Left six voicemails, and never got a call back. I later discovered that Public Storage's idea of what constitutes a "reservation" is very different from the common sense understanding of the word. You can make a reservation for a unit months in advance, and you will receive an email with a reservation number and move-in-date and everything. If you don't actually pay for your unit (i.e., complete the rental), then ... when you show up on the move-in date, there is a very good chance that they will have given your unit away to someone else, leaving you completely screwed. I chewed out two Public Storage agents on this issue, and they were both like, "Yep, that's just how we do business."

Chachi helped me transfer units with no hassle, complications or nothing and Dale helped answer all of my questions to my satisfaction. I highly recommend renting from here! 5 star customer service and 5 star employees!! I would definitely rent from here again :)
We are currently locked out of the gate code does not work. Unit is paid for have not had access to my unit in 5 days. HOW DO THEY LOCK YOU OUT AND KEEP YOUR MONEY. IT IS GOING TO THE DOGS.

Been with this public storage for about two years, the lady the works the front desk is awesome, sweet, and she have excellent customer service.
This is the worse public storage in Durham North Carolina. They didn’t send out emails to let the customers know that there was damage to the property. They changed my lock then couldn’t find the key or know anything about the lock change. I had to follow up with them a week later to find out that no one looked into the lock change. I haven’t had access to my storage in a month. Customer services they seem as if they didn’t care.
No issues with my actual unit, but the front office is ridiculous. Forced me to pay for a $29 lock when I explained that I already had my own lock. I've left Durham now as I've graduated, and my friend tried to help me return the lock, but the story is that I have to return it by myself in person.
And before I get a silly response saying you've checked your database and I do not have a storage unit with you, I literally do, and I would like a refund for the lock.
First time going to a storage unit and honestly customer service was excellent. I get treated and helped in every way possible, The person that attended me was named Chris. 10/10 would recommend

This is my second time storing with public storage and I was very pleased with the customer service, the property manager Kaylai was a very sweet young lady.
Kaylai was the best had no problems at all with my unit.
They canceled on me the day before. Do not rent from this place.
I received a reservation number a month ago and an email notification 2 hours ago, but they just called me and said my space was given to someone else who walked in. The reservation was a waste of time.

Everywhere I called they were rude and talking vert short as if they didn't want to be at work. Calling this location was my last hope. I believe the young lady name was Tia, and she helped me calm down and collect my thoughts. Her customer service was exceptional. The owner of this place should feel honored to have her on the team. You don't find customer service like this everywhere. Thanks Tia!!!! Give her a raise!!!!

Public storage needs to upgrade the facilities. It's not climate controlled. It be so cold in those places that you don't want to look for you're things. Also you need a public bathroom in every storage. Y'all are high and don't have a bathroom to use.
