I’ve had a terrible experience with public storage. Less than a month of me opening my unit, I get a call 20 minutes before closing saying that my account is closed. I called customer support multiple times with zero answers to what is going on. I’m glad I got insurance cause things are about to go one of two ways, I sue them for negligence or I sue them for actioning off my unit without my knowledge or consent. I’ll never rent with these people ever again.
Booked a storage online, went to the office two days in a row to pay the move in fee and nobody was there. Nobody picks up the phone and customer service isn’t a big help either. If you need your storage ASAP, do not book with them.

Overall they do a great job keeping everything clean for the most part. There is a guy that lives in a front unit though, and there's two guys always standing in front of it, drunk, that yell things at me when I'm entering or leaving. Which I think could make some people uninterested in renting a unit. Other than that place is pretty clean and their is a public restroom.

A huge hole in my unit! I could stick my head in there. I called to complain and nobody seems to care. In fact I was told “ sir you only paid a dollar for the unit”. Mam y’all took 47 dollars for whatever taxes y’all had. And on top of that I shouldn’t be charged for moving my stuff into a damaged unit. My issue is the staff thinks they are not in the wrong. Why are y’all not inspecting the units and putting them out of order. And costumer service is your job. Y’all dropped the ball. I was not rude but y’all could show concern for paying customers. I got a U-Haul and needed to have this done THAT day as A lot of people who are moving place to place do. Huge inconvenience. I wish I would’ve known before I reserved.

My storage is located in Mathews NC and everytime I go by there to pay my bill no employee is there. I have to travel to Tryon street location and pay Phyllis. Also you went up on my unit and forcing me out. Phyllis was able to help us by getting an extension on our unit. I shouldn't have to get other locations involved. This is why I gave a poor score.
Wasn't clear on introductory price as advertised. Also was not aware that it was not 24-hour.
