If I could give this place no stars I would. This is the most ratchet location I have ever dealt with. There’s never anyone there. I think the office has been open once since I’ve had my space. Then they excessively hyperinflate the fees, the late fee date has changed every month since I’ve ran into difficult times and they make sure to add it. They even raised the late fee. When you can get someone on the phone they’re rude as hell. They also make you pay for worthless insurance that covers absolutely nothing. They painted the buildings that bright orange and got that paint all Over my stuff and the insurance company denied my claim to replace my stuff with paint splatter on it. Then last month they tried to auction my stuff off for 1 measley month of fees for $330 and what I have stored there is worth way more that. $330. I would recommend anyone please don’t rent from this company ANYWHERE! They price gouge and there is never an actual person to help you. When they unlocked my unit last month after I paid it they still left a tab lock on that I had to cut off myself. They target people who they know value their belongings to over charge them for no apparent reason. I will also be making a complaint with the better business bureau against this company smh. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE BECAUSE ITS NOT SAFE!

The roof on my unit had blew off and it is raining and damaging my items. I was told I needed to pay for my next months rent before they can move me to another unit. Still waiting for someone to return my call after payment. Re-review-Thank goodness Lauren came to the rescue. She was very attentive and helpful. She gave me a new unit in minutes. Thank you, Lauren

It has been an horrible experience. When I arrived the unit I was assigned was already in use. No employees were on the property. I had to place my items in an unused space. I locked it up and repeatedly called the office to talk to someone...which you never do...to explain what had happened. Left messages and no return call. Then after 2 months management cut the lock off the unit and much of my stuff was stolen. The employees have no idea when this happened. I called the police and made a police report on my stolen items. I filed a claim with the Orange Door insurance that I've paid for every month, and they are even worse. It has been over a month since I filled my claim and nothing has been resolved. My items are long gone and my unit was destroyed. Horrible management. No sympathy at all. The 2 in the office were more concerned about what they were going to eat for lunch than my unit being broken into. Management made me a target for thieves, and now I am just waiting for resolution.

I came in to aquire information about a storage unit after a long day at work the manager of the store, Ahshanti, was excellent, well manored, and helpful. She was quick with giving me all information about a unit. Definitely will return and recommend to others.

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! I rented a unit and came back a month later to find a different lock on my unit. When we went into the office to ask why they said the place was a mess and they have no clue but that if we wanted to cut the bolts off they would give us a new lock. When we came back 15 minutes from purchasing a lock down the street, there were about 5 males carrying stuff in and out of MY UNIT! They said they were given access to the unit a week ago and were told they could throw all my stuff out. My things are now missing and the police are involved. We cant get ahold of anyone working on site nor the managers. The corporate cant even get ahold of them. What kind of inside job scam bull S is this place?

Terrible experience here this past weekend reserved and did everything online my husband arrived initially could not locate it and no one was in the office hour past I called the phone # got connected to property manager who stated she was not on property and put me on hold after 9 mins of holding I hung up. My husband had people who seem to be living in storage rooms coming up to him asking if he needed help. When he did locate the storage it was broken into lock gone from inside. Then he went to office after the agent decided to arrive to be moved into another unit went to that unit and it was already occupied. He went back to office he had already been there for over 2 hours and requested a refund! She would not refund administration fee I would look elsewhere for a unit or make sure you have insurance at this facility. The agent informed him that property was broken into over christmas and the listings online are not up to date so I would beware of reserving online as well with this facility. She also stated she was just “filling in” that day poor job of doing that. We decided on another storage facility and happy we did we feel confident our things are safe there! Don’t waste your time here.

Appalling customer service and handling. I traveled for two hours to pick up two units I won at an auction, and I've been waiting for a manager for an hour and a half. The customer service could only provide me with a phone number I've already called, and it's just an automated response system where I've left multiple messages, but no one has bothered to call me back.

Working 10 hours and dealing with the rush hour traffic in our city today was hectic and draining... Not to mention I had to go and Rent A Storage Unit... It is there that I met the sweetest, helpful young lady I've seen in a while. She knew the ins and outs of everything I was needing there and then some! I’m not sure of the spelling but Atwana has been very kind and patient. It is hard getting thru to a different location via phone so it routes to this one. She always picks up quickly and tries to help as much as she can.

Atwauna @ Public Storage really went above and beyond. We traveled from Asheville to get to this unit and she was amazing to deal with. Not only is she professional but she is genuinely kind. It was a great experience all around!

I was not able to reach anyone in the office, but when I called I got Tina and she was very helpful with getting me the correct information for renting another unit at this location. Thank you Tina.

This public storage is on Wilkinson Boulevard the people in there are very friendly and nice and I like their prices so if you haven't gone there before to me is the best place the safe place to call home for your belongings if you haven't gotten a storage there and you need a storage right now they close I think at 5:00 so you have to go before 5:00 noon time to get you a storage space if you don't really know how to go about picking the Right storage space for the right amount of stuff that you have just tell them how much stuff you have that needs to be moved into a storage space and they will help you to make a good suggestion on which one to get that's what they done for me and I like my storage space very well much so and they will make the adjustments for you to pay online or come in and pay my card if you can't pay on the date that they sit for you you can tell them that the date doesn't suit you because you won't be able to pay it on that date then they will suggest that you come in and pay and if the door is locked when you get there and you know it's still early and it's not 5:00 just be patient because they do be out on the golf cart riding around making sure that no one has broken in to any other storage spaces out there and they do ride around on the golf cart keeping the property clean

I sit in my car for 45 minutes waiting on someone to show up to pay my bill and they were coming back to work. Happens alot at this place the manager was rude. She said I dont have to take my money and put my stuff up for auction. She was an absolute hood rat. Dont go here.

Me and 3 other people waiting for the place to open at 9:30. I left at 9:45 and know one was there. Came back 2 more times and know one in the building. It's like that every month I go there. Customer service isn't there top priority.

Great clean place

The staff at this place are not helpful at all!! Good customer service is something that needs to be taught to ALL the employees, even the boot leg so called property manager, who is hardly ever in the office! My light fixture was an old model from the 1980's.. I pulled the string n it broke. After I informed the front desk about it, I was told my unit was too small for them to repair!! Where do they do that at? If I spend my money, I want service!! I was told by a voice behind a wall from a supposed to be district manager that he doesn't fix units unless it's bigger than the one I rented!! That's trailer park, ghetto professionalism!! A new breed of people!! Spend your money where it is appreciated!! Not here on Wilkinson Blvd n Charlotte nc
