I actually rent at a Independence location an I couldn't seem to get any help. I went to this location and Amanda went above an beyond with her assistance. I now have the app and I couldn't thank her enough.
I had some issues with a storage unit I rented at the James A Reed Rd location. Amanda stepped right in and went above and beyond to get everything cleared up for me. I really appreciate her and because of her I would definitely rent another storage as well as recommend this location. Thanks again Amanda for everything!

My experience with Amanda, the property manager at this Public Storage location, was incredibly frustrating due to her poor attitude and lack of professionalism. From the moment I walked in, Amanda was dismissive and rude, cutting me off whenever I tried to speak. It was clear she had no interest in actually listening to my concerns or helping resolve my issues.
Instead of providing any real assistance, Amanda kept repeating the same scripted responses over and over, without letting me get a word in. Her unwillingness to engage in a respectful and constructive conversation made the situation far more difficult than it needed to be.
Dealing with someone so unhelpful and unkind was a very unpleasant experience. If you're considering using this Public Storage location, be prepared for a frustrating encounter with management. Public Storage should reconsider their approach to customer service if they want to maintain a good reputation.

Very glad to leave a good review for the great customer service that I receive on a monthly basis from Amanda here at the James Avery Road public storage. I wish that we could have more customer service like this at a lot of the facilities, the stores in a number of other places that we visit on a regular unfortunately we don’t always get this great customer service and it sometimes is a thankless job. I highly suggest that she be trying to be a trainer after she gets her feet wet a little bit that she needs to become a manager I do to suggest that someone is listening and reading this review and gives her a raise. Public Storage was a very good place to keep my storage for secure. The office personnel (Amanda and Iris) was very kind, helpful, informative, and supportive!! I would highly recommend using this location. Hopefully the traveling lanes to units will be updated very soon. Had a couple small items break but nothing major or sentimental. Also wish the hours would extend for customers that work 12+ hours a day. Closing at 9pm when you have an access code is ridiculous. Thank you all for the stay for my things. I appreciate yall! Would highly recommend!!!

If it was possible to give a 0 that’s what I'd give them. They don't return phone calls or answer the phone or return calls. Customer service sucks they hung up in my face today without answering my questions. I'm highly disappointed with the experience.

I hope you have 4-wheel drive cuz you'll need it driving through there. More and more holes to China are popping up. We're getting our stuff out and canceling. This place SUCKS.

I use 2 different locations, the Blessing is Bobbi, has and does assist me with any issues at this property on James A Reed too. Few times when I was MISINFORMED, Bobbi as soon as she returned contacted me quickly to keep me a Happy Customer. She is a Kind Employee and does her job well. I hope Public Storage gives her Raises and knows the GREAT WORKER she is.

AWFUL!! I’m going on my 3rd month at this not so fine establishment and so far it’s been brutal!! Public Storage was nice enough to “opt me in” to Orange Door rental insurance that i simply want to cancel. I was told I had to physically come in and sign a paper. I’ve been outside this location over an hour during business hours with a very locked door and now unanswered phone. The site manager came out at one point but told me, “I think he is at lunch and no I cannot let you sign a paper on my day off.” Keep in mind this is only one of TWO times I’ve needed on site assistance at all. Last time I was here during business hours as well but a locked door and no one inside. I no longer wonder how their storefront window was able to be vandalized as it is today. I just wonder where the heck I’m going to take my things because this place is wack!! Total JOKE!!
