This location was very easy to access online. Got a discount for booking online but even not booking online, the prices reasonable and competitive. Easy and easy out. Coded access to get in. The staff overwhelmingly helpful. Shout out to Rachel who went above and beyond to make several of my trips in and out pleasant experiences . Very very helpful. The unit was clean, grounds were clean, well maintained and mowed. All in all, five star. I would definitely come here every time I need storage in the Grand rapids area.

I'm in the process of moving. So I attempted to rent 2 storage units through Public Storage online. Tosha Larsen, the property manager was AWESOME. She went out of her way to help me. The corporate office was a different story. Even though the website said I could order and pay online, it didn't allow me to actually do that. When I called corporate, they said that service wasn't available, even though the website said otherwise. Tosha called corporate for me, called me several times over the course of several hours as she worked on her end to help me out. She went out of her way to try and make it right. Corporate wouldn't let her, so she is now going to take the time to manually save my hold request each day until we can actually get there, which is weeks away. I am so happy she was the person who is helping us. Without her I would have gone to another company. Super impressed with her. (Not so impressed with corporate)
From start to finish it was about 20 minutes I walked in rented a storage unit seen it locked it up walked away very very nice people and very reasonable competitive rates

However, when Tosha was on vacation, I had a few very rude encounters with the assist manager Danny!
A couple weeks before Tosha went on vacation, we had made arrangements for me to transfer to another unit. I didn't get a reminder to do the transfer, and remembered late Saturday. I went ahead and did the transfer, calling the office early Monday morning. Danny was extreamly rude, saying I took it upon myself to do the transfer, and I had no right to do that!...
I told Danny, that is why I was calling first thing that Monday morning, to complete what had already been started. I explained that I get out of work at 4 o'clock and would head right over. At 4:05 I get a call from Danny. I explained that I am on my way, hadn't even left the parking lot from work yet. I work about 20 minutes from SSS. Once I arrived, I was treated and spoken to as I were a thief, and kept saying I shouldn't have taken upon myself to transfer. Danny would not listen to anything I had to say, as I tried to explain the situation. A few days later, I stopped in to return the unneeded new lock, and was greeted again very rudley. I asked when Tosha would be back, and three times Danny gave me very vague responses with all kinds of attitude.
Today I walk in to pay my bill, Tosha was there, and everything was GRAND, as it always is with Tosha.
If Danny was the main, or only one in charge there, I would definitely move to 1 of 1000 other storage units and share my experience on every multimedia site I could.
Instead, I just waited for Tosha to return with all her sunshine, rainbows and glory to go there.

We recently stored our boat at Simply Storage on Clyde Park Ave. It was a great experience. Easy process to get the storage space. Convenient and secure to get to the boat. Easy online payments. Hassle free cancellation once we no longer needed the storage space. If you find yourself needing storage, this is the place. Location right off 131. In todays world doesn’t seem like a lot of positives , this was a positive!
Staff is very friendly. Communication on their end is great. Property is clean and well kept.

Highly recommend! Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and kind. Units are spaced nicely, plenty of room to load/unload, drive trucks and trailers through. Bonus is the security and gate is the best one I've ever had!
