There is a driving range located by the outside vehicle storage. No matter what they tell you, golf balls will struck your vehicle. After three months, I returned to no fewer than 10 golf ball strikes in my trailer, and a broken back windshield. After canceling our rental they continued to charge us - it’s been two months since we stopped renting and I’m still dealing with stopping payments and getting refunds.

When signing up online, they automatically charge you $20 for a lock without providing an option to deselect the lock. I have my own... Also, the price varies when you're on a laptop vs a cell phone. It's $7 more ($33/month) when looking at a 5x5 on my phone versus $28/month when looking on my laptop for the same 5x5.

So far this plade has being a great place for my husband stuff, Beth has being of great help and communication. Will recommend.

Gave us the absolute furthest from the door storage. Only one entrance, and our storage unit is in the opposite corner of the building. Also, we pay a higher price for our unit being "climate controlled" but when we were there, it was 83 degrees in the unit, and the humidity was stifling. Not good for stored photos, papers, clothes, etc.

Was very easy to understand and to rent a unit. Cammy was a great help and even drove to meet me at the Clyde park office when I needed her to😃😃

Stole money from my account after I moved out and I am still waiting for it to be returned. I recommend turning your card off when you move out. It's been over 6 weeks waiting on a check that was supposed to be sent out a day after I called about it.

Ever since this place got bought my public storage it’s been downhill. Their software is all messed up and they just raised my monthly rent from 85 to 123 dollars!! This is actually insane, I called to ask what it was for and I was told. “You got an email saying your rent would go up in April”. Thanks… very helpful, find someone else to rent this unit then and you can rip them off all you want. Also I just want to state, I don’t believe it’s the workers at this location, they do a great job helping. But hr has some stuff to figure out

Update: 3/8/2024 - 1 Star I have had my storage unit for a little over 1 year now. I originally started my 5x5 climate controlled unit rental at $65/month in February 2023 (no promotional price, this was my normal rent). Public Storage bought the place in October 2023 and the price increased to $78/month. Okay, that's fine I suppose. In March 2024, they have increased the price again to $102/month. There is no reasoning, just that rent has increased. However, if you go to Public Storage's website for this location, a 5x5 climate controlled unit is $63/month ($48/month rental price + mandatory $15/month insurance) with no promotional price. This is wild to me that this is how Public Storage operates, although i shouldn'tbe suprised. I will be canceling and moving to a different storage company. While the people working at this location are incredibly friendly and helpful, the company is awful. Expect high rent increases (after promotional pricing is finished). I would highly *not* recommend any Public Storage location for their pricing alone. Maybe it would work for you if you only needed storage for a few months before they increased their price. So let me tell everyone about Public Storage here on Clyde Park If you are late on your rent up at the storage the storage puts a lock on people units they are cutting People locks off their storage and going through people things I was a month not even a month I was a few days late and they cut the lock they are stealing get y'all stuff out of they are doing some stuff that is not Iegal stuff

We had a clerical mix up when Simply Storage was bought out by Public Storage, and Ed did his best to help my family sort it out. I really appreciate his help, he's definitely a good person to contact there and went above and beyond to get us answers.

I moved out of this storage facility due to water damage and rodent infestation. The insurance is useless for the damages. I'm glad I had my most valuable items in plastic tubs, my furniture, pretty much had to junk it.

She assurred me that the transition from the old to the new Public Storage would be a smooth one! She was very helpful!

I'm in the process of moving. So I attempted to rent 2 storage units through Public Storage online. Tosha Larsen, the property manager was AWESOME. She went out of her way to help me. The corporate office was a different story. Even though the website said I could order and pay online, it didn't allow me to actually do that. When I called corporate, they said that service wasn't available, even though the website said otherwise. Tosha called corporate for me, called me several times over the course of several hours as she worked on her end to help me out. She went out of her way to try and make it right. Corporate wouldn't let her, so she is now going to take the time to manually save my hold request each day until we can actually get there, which is weeks away. I am so happy she was the person who is helping us. Without her I would have gone to another company. Super impressed with her. (Not so impressed with corporate)

From start to finish it was about 20 minutes I walked in rented a storage unit seen it locked it up walked away very very nice people and very reasonable competitive rates

Tosha is such a delight to work with. She is so knowledgeable and helpful and kind. However, when Tosha was on vacation, I had a few very rude encounters with the assist manager Danny! A couple weeks before Tosha went on vacation, we had made arrangements for me to transfer to another unit. I didn't get a reminder to do the transfer, and remembered late Saturday. I went ahead and did the transfer, calling the office early Monday morning. Danny was extreamly rude, saying I took it upon myself to do the transfer, and I had no right to do that!... I told Danny, that is why I was calling first thing that Monday morning, to complete what had already been started. I explained that I get out of work at 4 o'clock and would head right over. At 4:05 I get a call from Danny. I explained that I am on my way, hadn't even left the parking lot from work yet. I work about 20 minutes from SSS. Once I arrived, I was treated and spoken to as I were a thief, and kept saying I shouldn't have taken upon myself to transfer. Danny would not listen to anything I had to say, as I tried to explain the situation. A few days later, I stopped in to return the unneeded new lock, and was greeted again very rudley. I asked when Tosha would be back, and three times Danny gave me very vague responses with all kinds of attitude. Today I walk in to pay my bill, Tosha was there, and everything was GRAND, as it always is with Tosha. If Danny was the main, or only one in charge there, I would definitely move to 1 of 1000 other storage units and share my experience on every multimedia site I could. Instead, I just waited for Tosha to return with all her sunshine, rainbows and glory to go there. THANK YOU TOSHA ❤

We recently stored our boat at Simply Storage on Clyde Park Ave. It was a great experience. Easy process to get the storage space. Convenient and secure to get to the boat. Easy online payments. Hassle free cancellation once we no longer needed the storage space. If you find yourself needing storage, this is the place. Location right off 131. In todays world doesn’t seem like a lot of positives , this was a positive!

Staff is very friendly. Communication on their end is great. Property is clean and well kept.

Honestly this was one of the better storage units that I have had. I really love the manager she is fun to chat with and kind. The facilities are very nice, and my unit kept my items safe from the elements for over 2 years. It's a good size and has a good amount of space when unloading or loading.But if you're struggling financially, or potentially could during your time you might not choose them. They give no help and will charge you if you're late even a day and believe me it can add up.The facilities are very clean.

I just moved to MI from WA and had already had a storage unit lined up with another company. Needless to say it was well below standards. Because of their great reviews I called simply self storage and that’s when Danny so graciously helped me find my new unit. I was unsure what size to get and she was more than willing to help me find the perfect one. Words can’t express how much her kindness and hospitality meant. Thank you again! You are a life saver!

I wish I could hit 0 stars. One star is way to generous for the facility with faulty garage doors that could fall on someone. New management is rude, swears at customers and pretty much has no value of your time and money. Not worth the price you pay or the headache that comes along with dealing with Simply Storage. Even your district manager is passive on how things are handled. Not how you treat customer's especially when your a business owner yourself and feel devalued as a human being by being treated like garbage. Take your business where its appreciated and valued!! Sorry Danny I made you cry and to the store manager Tasha the internet is a powerful tool.

Highly recommend! Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and kind. Units are spaced nicely, plenty of room to load/unload, drive trucks and trailers through. Bonus is the security and gate is the best one I've ever had!

Shady/Watch your back... New management has little regard for long time customers and service has immediately depleted upon them taking over. They are not even attempting to help when a 3-year customer, whom they had his car towed for "not having any identification." A security/storage company should have cameras, correct? Well is that not identification enough that this was CLEARLY someone who has paid access to a unit and could get into the locked premises? The new management should make things right by covering his towing expenses and remedy this issue immediately. Shame on them for this complete lack of consideration for the situation.

Poor management, dismal customer service, maliciously tow-happy, atrocious customer service - what more can I say. Overall extremely disappointed.

Worst customer service, I've stored a motorcycle here for 3 years and they recently had my vehicle towed from the property while I was away for less than 24 hours. Not a single issue until now, new management is a joke. They refused to pay for the towing fees, or discount my monthly fee at all so I closed my account instantly. No attempt to make the situation right. There have been multiple security keypads / locks broken and unfixed for the entirety of my membership. Beware of the shadiness that is going on here, free rent is obviously a marketing ploy to soak up new customers. It's great until they constantly raise the price of your unit claiming it is for "improvements" of the property when that obviously isn't happening. Don't expect loyalty to the customer, or your vehicle to be there when you return from a ride. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE.

Great place, second time renting a unit here. They are clean, dry, and are metal so no smells. :) The office lady is super efficient and friendly, got me in to my unit in minutes. Thank you!

My storage was broken into ... And the funny thing is the lock 🔐 wasn't broke off.. the lock came from the storage company.. so I'm sure someone has a master key 🗝️ . I'm super furious

Great prices. Nice facilities. Edited:. Now that I've been there for a couple of years, I am a bit disappointed that the rent has increased several times last year with NO IMPROVEMENTS to the facility. They cut my lock off despite making arrangements to pay delinquent rent, then (after I got my rent current) notified me 3 months later that I'm in violation of my contract for not having a lock on my unit, and they will charge me an extra $40 a month until I buy another lock. I've been out of town on a job assignment so the manager was nice enough to wave the "no lock" penalties. I have yet to return to see if my stuff is even still in the unit.
