Jay called to tell me my storage unit was not properly secured. When I showed up, she walked to the unit to show me how to make sure my unit was properly secured. Jay is pleasant, professional and kind. A big asset to the property!!
I left a message with Public Storage, and within minutes I received a call back from Cole at the Commerce, MI location. She was so friendly and helpful and able to help me with what I needed. I feel she went above and beyond and was entirely focused on customer satisfaction. Thank you, Cole!
I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Megan at Public Storage in Commerce. When I brought up the rising cost of my storage unit, she went above and beyond to help. Megan took the time to assess how I was utilizing my space and offered some valuable suggestions. Thanks to her, I ended up saving over $250 a month! I was fully prepared to leave, but Megan’s dedication, professionalism, and willingness to help truly saved the day—and my wallet. I was surprised to see a virtual version of space rental. However, the young lady was very knowledgeable, professional and patient. The registration was easy and I was able to gain immediate access in less than 10 minutes.🙏🏾

Horrible You can’t speak with a person, rates go up every other month. Now $120 for 5x10. Terrible storage units. Don’t waste your money.

Horrible customer service. Can't get in contact with anyone if there's a problem with doors not opening! I wasn't able to get into my unit for 2 weeks because their doors weren't working! They cost me a bunch of money, and then offered $10 off next month for the inconvenience. What an insult!! On top of that, they talk to you as if it's a hassle to deal with you! I'm sorry it was inconvenient that you have a job to do!
This was my first experience with this storage facility. This place is amazing, it's clean, temperature controlled, secure entry, motion sensors everywhere and monitored. Jay is incredible, I dropped a box as I was moving in, she tracked me down to return my personal item. Wow! She’s professional, friendly and caring. Happy to know someone this dedicated looks out for my best interest.
I love this place because they are very professional and sometimes you may need to store a few items. This would be the place to go.

Still no call to give me access to my property its been over 2 weeks now.
Missed a payment then paid them $550 to have access to my units again before they were sold. It's been 2 weeks and I still do not have access to my units because they put their own locks on them and there's no one around to take them off. My email told me to come to the office and purchase new locks, so I went to the office (that doesn't exist anymore since they turned my location into a kiosk location in the last few months), to find that no one was there. You can call for assistance from the kiosk but it tells you to press number options that don't even pop up on the screen or anything so I had to call from my phone. Was told over the phone that I needed to call and have them put in a request for a manager to call me and make an appointment to come give me access back to my units which they did not tell me until I made that call. So I guess you're just supposed to figure that out on your own. It's been multiple days with still no phone call from a manager to take the locks that aren't mine off of my units to have access to my own property again.
Avoid this business at all costs. They will change your rates without notice. Not just a couple bucks. 60$ every 6 months without notice.
Normally, there’s no one there to help you if you have a problem you have to do everything online also, they only have one cart to help move your stuff in and out of indoor storage so you might want to bring something with you to help you move the stuff inside or out .Also the door shuts on you all the time so you constantly have to put your code in.
The staff is really not there when I show up. The woman a property manager, Marissa was so rude when I asked to see the units that they have. She kept addressing like I was beneath her. I asked to talk to someone else and she would not provide me with any contact information. I was trying to keep storage near me so that I could relocate and then I showed up at the other location on Haggerty and she was there again. Super rude and down talked my husband and I both. Then told us to leave for asking questions.
I would not recommend them if this were in fact the face of this clients walking in to rent. I have rented from Public Storage in another state and never was treated this way.
I left and looked online to find another place to rent. I told them about my issue and the woman there said that she is known for treating people like this. Pretty bad when other storage places know how bad she treats people. It's one thing to have a bad day. It's another when I went to 2 locations, and she is there. Public Storage, SOS I like renting from you. What in the world do you have such a rude and cruel person managing?

Was double charged for this month. I moved out and was told 60 days to get my refund. You heard it right they screwed up and then tell me I have to wait 60 days to get it back. Stay away from these crooks not to mention their climate control was 43 degrees one day when I entered
I have been out of work for months, I stopped my unit from being auctioned the first time owing $700 but the second time I payed half of my month then they threatened to auction by the second month and I have to pay the other half of last month plus almost $200 in fees and the next months rent so unfortunately my things were auctioned and sold for $50 when I owed $400. Ive tried to get in contact with the property manager MANY times but they dont answer their phones, I just wanted to retrieve irreplaceable items from me and my daughter but unfortunately I could not due that and now I owe over $500.

I went to the site the day before my move (with paid movers and truck, etc) and the only door to my indoor unit had a sign on it that said the sliding door was “frozen shut”. It was obvious the door might have been at some point but now moved freely when you push against it. However, someone had unplugged the motor that opens it. I would have loved to talk to someone, but, no one was at the office at 2pm on a Tuesday, no one answered the phone, and when I called corporate, they sent me to their regional manager who also didn’t answer the phone or respond to text. So, I now am scrambling to find a storage unit the night before my move. I also can’t cancel the unit online so now I’m figuring out how I’m going to pay for 2 units. Seriously- what happened to customer service?

Property manager somewhat unprofessional....usually no one is in the office for help...how is anyone supposed to get help with their units?
I truly enjoyed my experience at this location. I was helped by Emma that day. She knew what she was talking about, and helped me find what worked best for me. Couldn't be more pleased!

Went to the office and 4 of the 5 times no one was on site during business hours. Apparently the hours listed on the door are for decoration purposes only. I left multiple messages, none of which were returned. Half of the ceiling fell onto my belongings while in their storage unit. Could I reach anyone in the office or the property manager during business hours? NOPE! Poorly managed, ridiculous customer service. I dare you to find help in their limited phone menu. Your better off storing your stuff in the middle of the road or a swamp.
