Karen and Jason provided exceptional customer service to my dad and I. Very personable and friendly. My father just moved back from Atlanta and brought everything back in one big U-Haul truck. This facility is perfect for large moves. We were able to drive inside the gated load bay area and use their carts to transport everything. There are also dollies available. There are 2 large freight elevators that provides easy access to the second and third floor. We got a 10x20 unit on the second floor which was perfect for our needs. Highly recommend this location for storage
If I could do zero I would. This company is terrible. After 6 months they raised the rent $55 a month !! They sent company wide notices by email so they went to spam. I called to complain about the raise and it was reversed but I wasn't told that it didn't cover the current month. I have now received a bill for the $55 plus they are charging a $40 late fee. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. I will be moving my things ASAP..
The process was very easy online. When I went into the actual store, the customer service was awesome! I appreciate the attention to detail. The storage unit was clean and safe!
I have had no problems with service here, granted I have not tried to contact these people at all since I got my storage unit. My complaint here is two fold. First, the insurance requirement, I have spoken to multiple other people who rent storage spaces, and no one has ever heard of being required to have insurance to rent a space. Of course the insurance that is offered is through their company (orange door insurance). Secondly the rate increases. When I rented my unit the price was $70 for a 5 x 5 unit. Yes it is a little pricey, however this place is close to my house so I decided to rent from them. Since the promotional price of $70 ended after 6 months, they have raised my rental rate at least twice (I've lost track of the exact number) so my current rate is $103.00 which is an increase of 47% in 6 months. Paying over $100 for a 5 x 5 storage space is ridiculous. I will be finding a new storage company and moving my stuff very soon.
Edit to the edit: Absolutely not. The rate has gone up 400%. I am ending my lease taking my things out as soon as possible.
Edit: The unit was a great deal when I first got it, but the price has increased 200% since.
OP: Karen was a great help. I was having a mini heart attack because of the upfront price but she showed me what the total cost was coming from. The unit is easy to get to.

They let people in are storage unit for some reason. And public storage works or the people the let in are unit stole a lot of are stuff.

Public storage is lucky to have Karen as an employee, she is truly an asset to the company.
Every 6-12 months, I receive a letter stating that my rent is being increased. In about 3 years, my rent has gone from $58 to $148. Almost triple my original rent. I reserved a unit closer to home, rented a truck, loaded it full of furniture, then received a phone call saying I reserved a unit that was not vacant. They had no other units available at that location, and I would need to go to a different location. The original reservation was in Farmington, they sent me to the Canton location, which cost me an extra 75 cents per mile (there and back) on the truck. They told me I'd keep the $56 monthly rent, and I did... until six months later, my rent was raised from $58 to $72. If you calculate the percentage of that increase, it is just over 25% This happened every 6 to 12 months. I now pay $148 per month on a 5'x10' storage unit about 3 years later. The only reason they get two stars, is because the woman that works at the Canton location is very nice and helpful. However, I feel taken advantage of, and this has place has caused me a huge amount of stress, both financial and mental.
Update:
They have since seeing this review, lowered my rent by $30. Now I pay $118. Still more than double the original rent, and does not change what I have been through. I will admit it is nice of them to lower the rent, but I plan to move out in the next couple weeks, so it really doesn't help me at all. Unless they want to refund a significant portion of the excessive rent increases, the review will stay. Because people deserve to know what will happen to them if they use Public Storage.
Also, since lowering my rent, my Auto pay has been turned off(not by me). I keep receiving messages saying my payment could not be processed, and I'm going to pay a late fee if it's not paid. The Payment history shows I paid it, but my checking account does not show the transaction. If I call them to make payment , I'll be charged a $10 fee!!! This company has caused me a horrible amount of stress. I'm so tired of dealing with public storage.

The facility is well lit, clean and secure. The pricing of the units are very reasonable. Upper management happened To be on site when I arrived to complete my rental agreement, Karen was awesome along with her site manager Justin. They were very hospitable and helpful. I toured the facility and handpicked my unit.
To the people who keep complaining about the doors being broken. It's not the staff's fault people keep running into the doors and breaking them! Use your brains!

They've been having door issues. I use the app to get in and out, thing is its been opening doors that you're not near to get in or out lately. This can hold you up especially if someone else is there loading or unloading. I was told they'd a "bug" in the system. Beyond that, I love it, especially having an indoor unit...pricey but convenient. I'd recommend.

I am a satisfied long-term renter at this location. Like any 10 year relationship especially with storage there is an occasional light that needed to be replaced or entry issue for my husband or myself but these are handled well by the front office staff. I have both expanded and reduced my storage unit footprint several times. I have worked a lot with Karen who has been amazing. I recently combined two large storage units into a single well organized unit, which was a big job. Karen checked in several times over the week that it took to organize the single unit. While I am just a renter, this Public Storage location and Karen as manager are really partners in the services I provide to the families I help. The location is safe and well managed. I am a small company but could not do this without the help of Public Storage who helps me be more efficient in delivering just-in-time equipment to families and stores an immense amount of my event inventory.
I had the most wonderful experience here. Karen and Alondra did an amazing job. They were able to get my late fee waved. And now I'm Not going to only give them five stars i'm giving them ten stars

Be careful when renting a storage unit from this location.
I made a reservation on July 15th, paid for the entire storage unit, and moved in on July 22nd; I saw that my lock was broken into before my moving in. I raised the concern to the front desk agent and she was rude, kept cutting me off while I was talking, and didn't let me finish.
I'm paying for a service to store my belongings in a safe location. After I brought up the broken lock to her, the front desk person was aware of the issue, so she willingly lent a contract for a broken lock storage unit and told me to leave the key at the front desk after my stuff was already stored in the unit.
1- I don't feel comfortable leaving my belongings up to a total stranger.
2- I'm paying for this service and not receiving this as a donation.
3- The front desk person refused to move me to another unit and wanted to pay an extra $76 for another unit.
4- I made the reservation with ample time to have the unit be move-in ready.
I ended up moving out and moving my things to another storage facility, I'm not doing business in a location where people don't care about the safety of the items customers are storing there and refuse to provide better service. Take your business somewhere else because I sure would feel uncomfortable paying for a location with a broken lock.

Meh. Three stars because the space itself seemed nice enough. Online payment system is glitchy and no one could figure out why my payments showed payed but never went through or ended up being processed multiple times. This happened every month for 9 months. Very frustrating. They also don't offer reliable assistance in case of lost keys like other places, but you can hire your own locksmith.
This week I needed to consolidate from a second unit to this location and had a rental truck for only a few hours, planning to return it the same day. I had paid my rental fee earlier that day but on arrival found that I had been locked out of my unit. It was still more than an hour (office closing shows 6pm) to close and whoever was on duty that day had left early. I made a couple phone calls and asked for someone to return to remove the lock from my unit but no one returned my calls until the next day. This ended up being more than an inconvenience as now I had to pay for a full day of a rental and the help that was with me drove an hour and a half to help. After speaking with Karen and Nikia the next morning, my lock was immediately removed and Karen also waived additional charges I had on my account. As reviewers have said Karen and other members at this facility are are helpful and try to accommodate renters as best they can. I will continue to rent at this facility, and recommend anyone who needs a storage unit to seek out this location!

I have had problems since the first month I moved my things into this storage unit. Miscommunication at its finest!! Upon signing contract I had a new employee assisting me which was fine, but she didn’t mention I could pay at any location. First payment date approaches I go to pay my storage balance in cash and no one is in the office. Go again that following week, still no one in office. At this point I have one day left to pay before a late fee is added. I called and left messages but unfortunately myself and the manager just couldn’t reach each other. After I was able to speak with someone (after the late fee was added) I was told to just pay my storage balance and the late fee would be waved. I did what I was told to only have more late fees added onto the late fee that I was told not to pay because it would be taken care of. Now I get an email stating if the late fees aren’t paid my storage unit will go into auction. I was given a 866 number to call and they basically told me that my reasons aren’t good enough and I can’t file a complaint. I will be looking for a new storage facility very soon and do not recommend this public storage.
Having a unit here is convenient, priced defend by default. The unit we rented wasn't available so they have us the next available size for the same price.
Tried to rent a second unit, we're sellers that just started a small business. Placed a hold on a unit, set an appointment to secure the unit. We got there early as our appointment wasn't until 5p, we showed up the first time at 2p to try and get it taken care of. Called, left a voicemail and waited a few minutes. Nothing, so we left and went back at our scheduled time, calling again to state that we'd just stick to plan and see the lady at our original 5p appointment time. We go back for the 5p appointment, the doors are again locked. We called and left yet another voicemail stating we were in the parking lot. Waited about 20 minutes before leaving. The lady who runs the place is always on that golf cart so we were trying to be patient before calling it a wash. The next afternoon we got an email that was generic and most likely automated, at least I'd hope. Stating that we missed our appointment, asking would we like to reschedule, that's a no. It was difficult enough obtaining the first unit due to the lack of presence in the office and the doors being locked.
Even with an appointment, good luck getting in the building to physically conduct your business. Cylinder locks are all the lady allows, take your own or they charge $20 minimum for theirs.

I have my cleaning business at this location. This was a great experience. Karen was extremely helpful overall. I have never seen great customer service experience in a long time. She has an provides an positive atmosphere; and makes sure all your questions and concerns are answered. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Just ask for Karen, she will take it from there. My husband and I just rented a unit at this Public Storage and the girls were amazing her name was Karen and Colleen they helped us so much . This place is so clean they were so polite. I do have a problem with the doors being down and I wanna know when they’re gonna get fixed? You need more people like them working at your stores. Their customer service was outstanding
The worst experience of my life! Been here 2 years. In that time no one is ever in the office. I call and leave messages and no one calls back. Had issues since day one. It was inder construction when I moved in. It was hell moving stuff down super long hallways with no dolly. Like ants movong sand. No one helped me when I moved in. They raised my rent 60.00 .
The hallways are long and there is never a dolly available since no one is ever in the office. Not recommended by me. Get a storage unit you can pull up to. Do not get stuck in the maze at public storage. Plus if you ever have a problem no one is available. All they do is tell you to download the app. Do not put your stuff here. Find a storage place you can pull up to with your vehicle.
My experience has been amazing at public storage always friendly and they will work with you every chance they can. Karen is the facility heartbeat and has been working with me since the pandemic hit. She is professional and always looking out for the customer well being. Her customer service in unrivaled and is a shining example of how customer service should be.
I've used at least 4 to 5 storage places and this is the best for several reasons, the main one being Karen. If it weren't for her I wouldn't be here. She is the most helpful and compassionate. She is also very pleasant. She is definitely the best manager public storage has. The only bad thing about this public storage is the doors don't work, DOORS NEED TO BE FIXED LIKE YESTERDAY.
Karen was wonderful to work with and has been very accommodating. We love our storage unit and the personal attention we continue to recieve. Would highly recommend this storage facility!

Absolute MADNESS!! Storage unit is nowhere to be found. Went to the office no one is there during office hour. Called customer service they hung up after putting my on hold. WHAT IS GOING ON????? This is my first time renting public storage and will for sure be my last… don’t come here

this place I's horrible. first we get in the elevator that locked us in it we had to pri the doors open to get out.so we start using the 2nd elevator and it breaks so now we have to carry my nieces belongings down three flights of stairs and that was not the only problem. they have 2 garage doors 1 of the garage doors is broken .maken everyone wait on the people ahead .see when someone parks you in you can't leave until there done or move wich was impossible with your garage doors not working .I would not us this facility .
just because it's heated it's not worth it..

The staff are less than helpful, impatient, facilities are mostly maintained but nearly every time Ive gone in (renting unit for about 6months so far) at least one garage door is broken so there are issues getting vehicles situated, and going in and out. Also, when theres snow, they leave the snow so deep that you can get stuck going into the building (days after the recent snow)
They do have a nice feature with an app that you can use to open the garage doors so you dont have to use the touch keys. They do not have hand sanitizer or cart wipes visible or in use.

Sorry it took me so long. But I visited the other public storage down the street because I work out the country right now and I needed to move my belongings before I left the country for 5 months. Tommie was so kind, helpful and went above and beyond to not only find me a space at this public storage but also made so I could save some money on the unit. Tommie made a very very stressful time in my life a lot easier to manage with how considerate and kind they were. Thank you and would highly recommend tommie get a raise and to use public storage again. Sorry I took so long tommie but I really appreciate your help that cold winter day!

Friendly staff! They do not make you feel as if you are bothering them when you call or have questions. Karen is very welcoming and cheerful! I rented for the past year and the facility has always been clean and well kept up.

Well maintained units with good security. Especially I like their phone app that opens the gates with Bluetooth. Good friendly and responsive manager - who missed the first appointment - but then called and apologized that she had to step out. The prices are not cheap but since they didn’t have the unit I wanted they gave me a bigger one for the same price.
