Moved in last Friday came back two days ago and noticed roaches. I called the management and let them know, Thursday They said they would put in a ticket but had not heard of it before. I came in today to grab some stuff found a dead roach, awful finding
This is the worst Public Storage I have ever been to. I went in to purchase some moving supplies and the customer service was very poor. At previous locations, I was offered help to transfer the boxes to my car. In this case, I was not offered assistance despite me struggling (and pregnant) to put boxes in my car. The door was actually locked behind me even though it was opening hours. I ended up having to remove each box from the package to fit in my car. When I knocked on the door to ask if I could dispose the container box I was told "no" even though it couldn't fit in my car. I then had to ask for scissors to cut down the container box, which they gave reluctantly. Thank God I was able to cut down the box to fit in my car. I will not be going back to this location. I will stick to the location on Fenton.

Frustrating first time… the gate would not open. I came at 3:00 to try and get into my storage unit, which I had already paid for, and spent 20 minutes trying the access code and it never worked. I tried to see if someone was at the front desk and that didn’t work either. No one there. I called the number for this location 5 times, no answer. To say I’m frustrated with my experience is a major understatement.

My family and I are actually second time customers of this location. While I have tried other locations, this remains one of favorites. The location is always clean and accessible with the added bonus of being close to the highway, restaurants and shopping. My and my family's items are also safe and secure at said location. Four stars because more lighting is needed at night.

This place is easy to find, has a big lot, and (most of the time) flatbed carts to use to move your stuff. It's three levels so you are always hoping to get a first floor unit, which we did. I was going to downsize my unit but since I was already paying what I'd pay for a smaller unit due to taking advantage of a deal, I kept the one I had. I don't have any issues with the space I have and the team in the office are always super helpful and nice. I recommend it.

We have had a storage unit at this location for about a year and would highly recommend them based on their cleanliness, friendliness and attention to detail. We had an incident where we did not lock our unit correctly and thanks to Cori doing a routine security check we were able to get the situation remedied quickly. This has been by far the worst experience I have ever had with a storage facility. They lure you in with low prices and then a few months later they jack the price up by $150 a month. I was scheduled to move out July 31 but when I went to the facility in the beginning of July, I decided to move out right away because of a horrible bug issue from a unit next to me. I still kept my move out date as July 31st because they don’t prorate. I contacted customer service and told them that the lock on the door was a Public Storage lock and I did not care to keep it as I took my personal lock and put it on a unit at a different storage facility. I was told that was not an issue. Yesterday I received a text message stating I was going to incur a late charge If I didn’t make my payment. I went to the facility but the office had already closed so I went to the unit to see if there was an issue. I saw the Public Storage lock was still on it so I removed it but again was originally told that’s not an issue. Now today they’re saying I owe them $525 for the month of August because I removed the lock yesterday. I was told a month ago by customer service that leaving the Public Storage lock on there was not an issue. I will never recommend or rent from this company again.

The place is or was infested with rodents. There are rat traps everywhere and I incurred significant damage to the items I had stored there. To make matters worse, the insurance policy they want you to add only covers $250 of damage due to vermin.
We received amazing customer service by Corey, we really appreciate him taking the time to show us a storage unit that fits our needs. If you stop by this location, ask for Corey!

Despite being a newer property it is terribly maintained, whether that's staffs fault or not the company neglects their buisnesses in favor for much newer locations.
I went to public storage on Prosperity rd. A young lady by the name of Diamond greeted me she was very professional a very polite. She took the time to explain all the paperwork and answer all of my questions and took me to my stores unit. So i wouldn't get lost. She was one of the main reasons why i chose this location. I've really appreciate all of her help.

I visited this location today to inquire about a storage unit for my small business. Delonda was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions about short-term and long-term contracts, access hours, and more. She also gave me a tour of the facility to allow me to see the size of the units so that I can determine which one would be the best option. I was so pleased with the customer service and the cleanliness of the facility. I will be returning to sign a contract for a unit based upon the professionalism of the staff and the upkeep of the facility.

Shynesia, Asst Mgr, helped me today and I cannot give her enough compliments. The process was professional from beginning to end. The administrative process is done through an iPad which really streamlines everything.
This Calverton Public Storage is the best. Located next to the West Tech corner plaza.
Update: The quality of folks that come to that place is sketchy. When I was moving my stuff out, there was a lady changing her kids diaper in the foyer. Here I am huffing and puffing breathing that odor in as I’m moving my stuff out. Moreover, just right around the corner I get stabbed by some young kid on my way to work. The area may look nice, but the locals are uncivilized.

I would highly recommend coming to this establishment for your storage needs. The place is very secure and the staff is always friendly and very patient in answering all questions. I’ve never had to use a storage unit before and I got the assurance I needed. They are open 7 days and even on holidays. They also have an app so it makes accessing very easy. Units are also climate controlled. They also have supplies like boxes and key locks if needed. Units are very clean. In the dozens of times I have visited the other customers have also been very friendly. Being considerate by sharing carts if there isn’t one readily available. I would highly recommend this place. It is also conveniently located right on rt29 Columbia Pike.

I have had nothing but great experiences with this particular Public Storage! Marci was so accommodating, and more than happy to show me different size units. I had to switch to a larger unit on short notice and Marci was so helpful and eased my anxiety. During the time I was moving, she often came around and checked on me to make sure everything was ok. She answered all my questions in a professional manner, and gave me advice for movers. The units were clean, and I felt safe even being in the building alone.
