Very clean facility
I was looking for temporary storage in preparation for a move. I found a great price on a 10 x 10 foot unit at the Odenton facility during a Labor day sale. The place is clean. The staff has been friendly and helpful as this is my first time to rent a storage unit. It's never crowded when I've been there on Saturday afternoon or after work weekdays.
Missing one star because they had only 5 carts available on a recent very busy day. I know it was because 3 had been stolen, but perhaps 1 or 2 could be borrowed from another location. Customer service is 5 stars!
Amanda was the Best! We moved out of state and she was very nice and helpful and got us what we needed right away. Very nice and clean place

Rented a unit a year ago for $113 plus insurance per month. Rates continually have gone up so now it's $218 plus insurance. The unit is nice and clean otherwise, but the rate increases are too much.

Rental prices on a 10x20 are raised to$429.00 per month. This is more than a car payment! Ever since public storage took over this operation they have sky rocketed the rents. Seems like all the storage places have the same prices. Collusion?

The storage lockers are accessible. The public area is clean. I went mid-morning and there were carts available.
I needed to upgrade my unit. The staff was excellent. Told me what I needed to do. Seamless, love the staff. Completed everything in 2 hours.
I highly recommend Public Storage at 1876 Lamonte Ave in Odenton. The facility is well lit, neat and clean. Ms Ashlyn there is professional, knowledgeable, courteous and very patient! She read aloud the entire contract due to my limited vision. Give this woman a raise!
Amanda continues to do great things even after this property became Public Storage. The place has always been clean when I am there, which is often, as I store business items there and if any issues occurs. Amanda has always responded quickly to rectify any issues and Amanda is the main reason why I still keep my equipment at this location for years. I pray she never leaves unless I leave first as others I know who rent there fills the same, especially individuals and families in the military I have met have express these sentiments as we cross each other's paths.

You and your team do a great job taking care of the individuals and family who use your location and most definitely understand customer service and loyalty unlike some others who work for the company who only visit once in a while.
Btw, this facility is always clean and well lit.
My communication and interaction with Amanda has been a great experience from the beginning. If I have an issue or concern she addresses them and if a problem cannot be resolved at that particular time she usually gets back to me that day with an answer but always updating me with the status.
Because of her professionalism, caring behavior and other qualities she exhibits all the time is one of the main reasons I am with Public Storage especially since transition from EZ Storage which Amanda continues to monitor closely even after hours because of my business needs.
Great place to be when leadership sets the tone and her staff is great as the individuals on staff treat you just as Amanda does.

NOT ALL UNITS ARE TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED!!!
Only some of the facility is temperature controlled at this Odenton Maryland location.
Each time I access the 4th floor, I am hit with extreme heat.
Every time!
It has been brought staff’s attention, and they always make an excuse about the AC being repaired.
This is not isolated, it was the same heat last year.
I am paying too much for a Temperature Controlled Unit!!!

I’ve stored items at this location for 6 years, and honestly have to say it’s the best storage facility I’ve ever used or been in. Very clean, convenient, and climate controlled. Staff are great, too!
When I come with any issue or questions I usually go for Amanda , she is amazing and resourceful. They now have a new young lady working there , Leanna. I hope Amanda trained her because she is also great and very respectful. I’ve been storing here since EZ- Storage and I’m so happy they continue to hire great staff!

An amazing experience. Buying a condo creates challenges for those with lots of tools. Amanda understands customer needs and works hard to find solutions at the best price point. I've used two different companies since returning to Maryland and shopped many more and Public Storage is highly competitive. That said, managers make or break a location and Amanda is among the best in the business. This is a prime location with easy in and out. Location is always clean and equipment up to date.
Recently started storing here, the place is always spotless and clean, and Devin & Amanda have always been so great and helpful with anything i’ve needed. If you’re looking for a storage facility, this is definitely the one for you

Today knowing that I have been with this storage unit before they changed to Public Storage, I have to say that they (Public Storage the Company) should really consider their customer’s situations and the fact that they want to now raise our rent to almost $500 in the midst of a lot of people having financially hard times breaks my heart.
I have previously recommended this storage unit, but being that they want to charge us $150 more than what others would pay coming into the location is beyond my comprehension. If Public Storage sees this message, I would hope that you would contact me to keep a good customer.

Amanda and Silvia are the best! It’s very rare for me to leave reviews, but they were both helpful, kind, amicable; I loved talking to them; they are amazing people. For storage - this is a great place. Happy with the service and prices. The whole process was smooth. App works great.
Unfortunately not able to recommend this location—we have had issues with access (for example, went almost a full hour before their 9pm close time and the gate would not open, screen said it was closed and after hours, huh?!?!) as well as frequent issues with lack of hand carts to use for unloading the truck. Recently there was a security issue with a moving truck hitting a parked car in the loading area, scaring the mother inside with young kids. Wish they had better service.
I love that this location is spacious & CLEAN through the building and inside units. Lastly, the manager Ms. Amanda is sooo nice and helpful. She’s great.

I don’t normally post reviews, but I had to say just how great of an experience I have had with Amanda. From day one of my rental, she took her time with me and was very helpful. Never made me feel rushed or that she did not want to answer my questions…..she ensured I was a satisfied customer. During a very busy time, she was patient with each customer, pleasant and professional, and has remained consistent each time I see her, and knows her customers by name.
For a storage facility, the place is always clean, well maintained and you feel safe while there. Amanda does a great job….and when you have your personal items in a storage facility, it makes you feel good to know that the property manager understands and cares about your items just as much as you.
Amanda is always available for help. Through the transition from storage companies she been amazing. Always cheerful and friendly.

Wow, I have had other public storages and dealt with rude people, but THIS location is the best. Amanda gives top notch customer service, she was ready to help and ensure I have to right unit for my things. The place is clean, your always able to cart and plenty of parking to get the job done. Without Amanda I wouldn’t of choose this public storage.
If I could give no stars, I would. Today during the COVID19 pandemic and lockdown in Maryland, I received a notice of increase in rent of over $30/month. I am filing a complaint with MD AG, writing the Governor and anyone else who will listen. This is an outrage!. Also, the facility is very overpriced.

Amanda is amazing! I was kind of miffed when this location was bought by Public Storage, but contrary to my qualms, it has been smooth sailing so far. They've gone above and beyond in taking care of every issue and I can't thank them enough (especially Amanda, who at my last visit juggled 4 customers singlehandedly and made sure all of us felt attended to in a timely manner).

This facility is clean and well maintained. But the customer service provided by Amanda was exceptional. I had a recent issue that needed to be resolved by the Corporate Office and Amanda took charge and assisted in any way she could to resolve it. Public Storage is lucky to have her as the face of this location.

I had went here to get a visual of the size I had reserved online. When I arrived I was greeted by a young lady who gave me a locker number and directed me to where I needed to go. Unfortunately when I arrived to the said locker number it was locked. I then went back to the front desk and noticed the young lady I had spoke with was gone but I was greeted by Amanda, the manager who explained and showed me pictures of the different locker sizes. She then gave me another locker to look at. When I went to go see that one it to was locked but there was an intercom I used to let Amanda know of the issue. She kindly asked me to wait a moment as she had to lock up the front area so that she could personal come and help me out. Needless to say Amanda had a kind, professional and caring attitude that left a great impression. Thank you Amanda for all of your help.
