This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve encountered. I have rented 2 spaces in this location and 1 of it is on the 3rd floor, and when I arrived to drop off 8 boxes, the elevator was out of service. The storage manager suggested I carry the boxes up the stairs and assured me they would notify me once the elevator was repaired. However, I never received a follow-up call.
Four weeks later, after hearing nothing, I returned only to find the same issue. Finally, after 12 days, I received a voicemail stating the elevator was operational. Yet, when I went back, it still wasn’t working. I’ve left multiple voicemails because no one asnwers the calls and since then with no response. This ongoing issue has caused significant delays in my moving process. I need someone to call me ASAP

And I love you guys price I am renting a unit at extra storage and after 3 months the rate went up by 83 dollars for an 8x10 unit sad I got a bigger unit here for almost the same price

Customer service is great! Something was wrong with the unit I initially reserved and the gentleman in the office got us moved right into a slightly larger unit for the same price we were going to pay. Our condo storage facility was being renovated the last few months and public storage and team have really been a life saver. We would recommend them 10/10. They go above and beyond to make the customer satisfied. Had no issues with vacating either. Followed their instructions and got my vacate receipt shortly after. Thanks again, guys!

Was there yesterday, front desk gentleman KC and James (I believe was his name) were amazing! They helped out with all my questions and concerns. Very patient and kind men. Really helpful and worked with us with what we needed for the lowest possible price.
James and KC are excellent employees at public storage and Gaithersburg Old Town the old building.
James helped us a lot and explained everything to me before purchasing. This site is my go to since 2017 and I have never had an issue with Gaithersburg location. They are very professional and attentive to customers needs. I highly recommend this site of public storage.

KC, Albert, and others have been very helpful while we right sized our storage needs for personal and business needs over the months and years! The facilities are generally well kept, and the customer service exceeds expectations. In our 4-5 years of using the place I can only think of 1 prolonged frustration and it was related to a complicated elevator repair need which seems to have been worked out. KC goes out of his way to support current customers so that they will be returning customers; he provided a storage solution that made more sense than what we would have organized working without him.

ZERO communication... opened an "Incident Report" due to poor conditions on the property which led to an accident. No response from this report. Followed up with 2 emails with no response. Finally received a response requesting I call a certain number... it was automated with no way to speak to a human or follow up on the correspondence. Phone message left at the actual property has not been returned. Will be closing out my 2 units ASAP. There MUST be a better vendor for our business
I am so sorry about this storage it's not a good idea to use this I have had difficulty reaching the manager and returning calls none and void.. now I am out of the state .it's really hard to get a chance to because of time zones
This company racked up late fees of $134.00 accounting error on there part and canceling my direct deposit. I am out of state so I am being taken advantage of.
But I am hearing that I am not the only one being ripped off at Christmas time. It's a scam
