Great experience ! Aroun 2 month ago i decided to to move from PA to MD .Was looking for some comfortable place to store me furniture. Tried different places but none of them was friendly and prices was crazy . After some research found this place and once i received call from them i got great deal , they explained me everything , gave me remote pass in application , storage was very clean and space was big . Price which i paid was affordable. Once i decided to move my furniture got contacted to office , they informed me with all steps which i needed to pass , also i got lock which was included in price and they gave it to me . Great experience, good customer service service , if i will need to rent storage space in future i will definitely use this one . Area is calm , no traffics , location is wide and i was able to drive 20feet truck with no any problem . Drove straight to my storage enterance which made loading process way easier than i expected! 5 start from me !

I rented for almost a year from the Public Storage located at 48 Thomas Johnson Dr. On June 28, I received a phone call from Elena, district manager, stating that there was a fire in the unit directly next door to mine which caused me to lose everything in the unit except for what was stored in plastic storage bins. Flash forward to today where I have not heard from Public Storage or Sedgwick Insurance Claims (Orange Door Storage). My account has since been deleted by Public Storage so I cannot even access the contract connected to my account. There is also never anyone on site during normal business hours. I’m highly disappointed with the service and response I have received from both companies. I would never recommend this location or this company.

Still charging me for insurance even after I gave them proof of insurance. Rise your rate every 3 months until you're paying twice as much as you signed up for. Did work on the lights in the hallway then I had black dust all over my items Brenda Sawyer Kenny claggett. I'll be finding someplace else to store my things as soon as possible.

Do yourself a favor citizens of Frederick, if you are looking for storage, rent somewhere else but this Public Storage or any Public Storage for that matter. They don’t care about your stuff. You’re just a number to them. They only care about your money. The Property Managers will say anything just to rope you in. This property already had a fire back in May, and because Public Storage likes to cut corners, it will happen again because the electrician only did patch work. The hallways don’t have proper lighting or are completely dark and to this day reek of smoke. People’s units who were affected, were never properly compensated for their lose because cause the Public Storage Orange Door Insurance Program is a joke. They were ignored to the point where they had no choice but to leave. But Public Storage does not care. Their attitude is “ we’ll just have new customers move in” Public Storage uses fancy legal practices and loopholes to get out of any liability or accountability. They give you constant rate increases and try to give you false information to justify their greed. The District Manager, Edaa Mustifah, is a smug, arrogant and ignorant dishonest person and will not care about your issues or just will not do anything at all. Her Boss Tameka Thompson Regional President, supports her dishonest business practices, so this should tell you a little more about how this company operates. They’ll try to have this review removed because they’d rather hide the truth then take accountability. They prefer to hide truth by only getting positive reviews. Most of the drywall in the outside units are either damaged or destroyed because Public Storage doesn’t want to spend the money get them repaired. You’re told “ we don’t when a vendor can come out to fix it” You’ll get more respect as a customer from Extra Space Storage or Cubesmart before Public Storage. When you’re at this Public Storage or any Public Storage, your just a number, a metric number called a show up and occupancy rate. All so that District Managers like Edaa Mustifah, Elena Guyer, get their bonuses. And your personal items either get rodent damages or worse. Oh, and to further assist you, when Public Storage answers to this and other reviews that tell and expose them with “Hello, thank you again for taking the time to reach out to us and share your concern, which we will forward to the team.” this is their polite and professional way to say they don’t care and your matter will not be resolved.

This company cuts corners! The management sucks and lies! Stay far, far away.

Storage was fine..but make sure you read the contract..I moved out of my storage building on the 3rd of this month..that was the first avaliable weekend to move out..yet public storage charged me the entire month..I called and was told they only pro rate during move in not on move out. Horrible policy.I was charged a whole month for 3 days. Customer service said. "Well its your fault you didn't catch that when you read the contract.."
