I moved out of my current unit to a smaller one, and Lorraine at the service desk was very helpful! She helped me with finding a smaller unit and also helped me with getting a refund on the lock since I used my old one. Also, a shout out to Bill who does a great job keeping things clean and neat 😊

I am downsizing and I was referred to Public Storage by a friend. I tell you, from the time I walked in the door everything progressed smoothly. Lorraine and Fred are amazing at what they do. They were very patient with me and took the time to show me around the facility, which is clean, secure and well lit with motion lights as you walk through the storage areas. I decided on a unit and the next day I returned to secure it. As of this writing, I have not put anything in the unit, but I was able to speak with a number of current renters and they have all had positive responses about Public Storage. Thank you Lorraine and Fred for welcoming me into the Public Storage family.

Rent from here! Lorraine and Fred went above and beyond to help me secure the best deal on my storage unit. When the web site didn't load, Lorraine submitted a trouble ticket on my behalf AND provided help from the central office to make sure I got the unit at the online price. They explained how the facility works in clear, understandable language. This is a Modern, CLEAN, and well maintained facility!

Horrible experience. I was over charged. I live in nyc. My daughter is a student at Bowie State University near the storage. I booked together with my daughters roommates family for 2 storage’s next to each other or near each other. They assured me over the phone this would happen but when I got the email this didn’t happen. When I called to correct the problem the property manager says she can’t do nothing I have to call the customer service number. Called the customer service number and they tell me only the property manager can do the changes. This is already a stressful situation because I’m calling from nyc and can’t be there physically. I send my daughter the next day in a Uber and she goes to straighten it out but come to find out they now didn’t give me the sale the I originally wanted and got with the original rsvp. So now because it’s a day different I’m charged over when the discrepancy was on their part.
******Update. After this review. Public storage contacted me to make things right. And corrected the overcharge. ********

Where do I start? Ok, Lorraine and Fred are a joy. Being treated well is so difficult to come by these days and they both played a concerted effort in getting me sqaured away w/the right storage, I needed (Lorraine) and walking me to it and ensuring it was what I needed space wise and properly using the lock (Fred). You can tell they hold that location down, its clean, operations are efficient and they are not just sitting there. Value them, because people like Lorraine and Fred will keep customers coming back to you all at this location.

I'd like to thank Laura for a really good experience at the Bowie Public Storage facility. Her knowledge of the facility and how best to store your belonging is very helpful. We've been working to compress two storage units into one before the end of August. When we went to check out the person in the office didn't ask about my experience before demanding - not asking - that I do a Google review. So, here it is.
The units themselves are nice. They are clean and well lit and it felt safe to leave my stuff there.
But, the humans aren't kind or helpful and in the two years we were there, the price increased by far more than double.
It's adequate, though.
Very nice, friendly helpful service and facility is very clean but is a lot different then the outdoor ones where you can just pull up but your unit is climate controlled here. It was EZ storage when I first got a unit in 11/2019 great rate and yes I was informed in advanced how much and how often MY rate would go up but the last yr I think it was Literally out of the blue public storage took over the unit no phone calls no email had no idea because I hadn’t received something in the mail by The time I got a message saying my payment was past due which I have automatic payment set up my rate was increased and a few months ago increased again which these increases are way more then er storage. After loading my unit I think I’ve only been by there a few times before it changed the public storage so I have no idea of the same gentleman who is very nice and there was also a very nice lady that was working there back then I have not been to the facility since I switched over out of the blue overnight the public storage so I cannot give a review about the facility since they took over but a review about higher rate. I probably should go online and double check to make sure it has not increased even more.

Had a issue with employee not wanting to show me a unit, he didn't want to walk to the unit. The next day Lorraine and her husband took very good care of me. and gave me a credit on my account. They are very friendly, accommodating and really care about their customers! It is a nice facility also.
