Just got off the phone with Candace at the Taylor Ave. location in Parkville/Towson area. She was extremely pleasant and helpful. I really hope her supervisor sees this review and is aware that she is absolutely the kind of person you want to have in Customer Service. She was able to get me what I needed all with a great attitude and very kind about everything while doing it. It's extremely hard now days to find and receiving great customer service. I visited Public Storage on Taylor Ave to get pricing on storage units. Candice explained everything to me, even the benefits of having insurance on my unit. Out of all the different storage companies I visited, I chose this one because of Candice. I hope to hear one day Candice received a promotion to management because of her knowledge of the company procedure and policies. Why to go Public Storage for employing this young lady.

She patiently and enthusiastically answered all my questions, walked me through the process of renting a unit and shared some great information relating to utilizing the storage facility.
I was extremely pleased with the facility’s cleanliness, lighting, and unit size options that would perfectly suit my needs.
Stopped by to get some merchandise and was greeted by Candice she is a good asset to public storage..

After searching for storage units and experiencing a horrible situation with another storage facility, I visited this location and met Candice. She went above and beyond to help me. I was frantic walking in the door, she was very patient when I explained my situation, she took me on a tour to show me several units in different sizes, she also took her time to explain everything to me. Sometimes you need just a few boxes and a roll of packing tape, and you need ‘em quick. Public Storage was there for me in my time of need. The location was convenient, the storefront was clean and organized, and customer service was very friendly and helpful (thanks, Candice!). I don’t use the facility for storage, but after such a superb experience, I would gladly do so!
If you’re 1 month behind , your stuff is going to the auction but that is besides the point of my post , all my stuff has been out of public storage now for about 5 weeks now, i simply forgot my lock on my storage unit , as i understand this is completely my fault and offered to pay aprils rent next week when i get paid they refused and now expects me to pay for aprils rent , mays rent , late fees etc ..even though i contacted them before May 1st .. i just wouldn’t recommend, they don’t know good customer service and being able to help their paying customers .. i wasn’t asking for aprils rent to be waived at all i just didn’t want to have to pay mays rent when there is nothing in the storage unit and offered to remove my lock before may 1st . but they can go ahead an auction off a empty storage unit but definitely lost a future customer

Maxwell is a life saver! He made the process of getting a unit FLAWLESS!!!! He explained everything in details, answered my questions thoroughly and addressed my concerns. I'm happy I made the decision to go in store instead making a reservation online. He even asked if I would like to see the same unti I would be renting, and I did. The facility is very secure, good lighting, very very clean. I definitely made the right choice chosing this location.

Horrible customer service, and they also entered my unit unlawfully.
I highly do not recommend this unit they take advantage and over charge and the are currently in a law suit for ripping people off and raising rates. You’re at risk with having your belongings auctioned off with no notice. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I’m pretty sure they are going to say they will work to fix it. But that doesn’t change the fact that sentimental family memories and heirlooms are now lost because of scamming employees. How do you pay a storage bill and not have access for a full 48-72 hours on multiple accounts. I am beyond heated with this company. It infuriates me that I no longer have obituary’s of loved ones and prized possessions that have been passed down. My mom and I have lost everything because they auctioned our unit with out notice. This truly sucks and I hope no one seeks service here ever.

Manager Stacey is very professional and helpful. She called me when I forgot to put my lock on; She arranged someone to fix the lights in my units without anything missing; she took care of the delivery when I gave her the key to my unit.

Move out of unit early , asked 3 times to have my bill pro rated, now all you hear are crickets , but they were guick to raise the rates with no notice , I will never every use this company again, and I hope anyone thinking of using this place to go somewhere else , employees are great company SUCKS.

Still a nice clean place, however the heavy woman with the short hair cut that I interacted with a few Saturdays ago was so nasty I think she said her name was Stacey making it my last day there. Any other time I was there or called on the phone theother staff were pleasantly helpful. Found me another storage company.

The first day I helped my brother move he got a storage unit we got there before closing hours and not a single soul was in the building and no instructions were left on how to get into the storage unit nor where our lock that we bought was it wasn't till we talked to another customer did we realize the lock was inside our storage unit container so we had to break the zip lock to just get in and then on the second day again no staff in the building at all as well as all doors not responding to codes Wich made us have to extend our U-Haul with money we don't have how are we paying for a storage unit that we can't even access this is entirely unacceptable something should be done to handle this immediately
I've never used a storage facility before, and registered online. I came within the hours of office operation, and no one was there. I had no idea it no direction how to access my storage locker.
Came back the next day to finish with what we were putting away, again within office hours (prior to 6pm, both times was around 4ish) and again, nobody was there and we weren't able to access our locker because the computer systems were down... And what a surprise, the office wasn't open again.
Only had a storage for two days and this has extremely deterred me from wanting to ever use public storage, since I have been unable to reach anyone by phone either.. I had to rent my U-Haul for another day because of being unable to access the storage unit yesterday.

SCAMMERS! Quote you one price to move in …. $1.00 for the first month and some administrative fees and then sneak charges for “pro rated rent” and claim that its “past due.” This my first and last time dealing with this company. I should have known something was wrong when we went to go open the unit for first time around 10:30-11:00 am and NO one and I mean no one from the staff was there to assist with any questions or issues which I did have. Thankfully another customer helped us. I regret using this place.

When this place was owned by EZ Storage it was clean, fair, well managed. Since Public Storage took over and cut back on employees, it's dirty and broken down (bonus: Mice!). This isn't the employees' fault; the company sets them up not to do the job. No wonder there is a lot of employee turnover. Also there's also only one employee in the office at a time, so if there's a problem they need to lock up the office. On top of that Public Storage nearly doubled our rates over 14 months. Go elsewhere.

Nice and clean. But doing the summertime they don't have the air conditioner on it's hot in there.

Hello today kadijah and misha was a big help I'm from out of town and they helped me understand everything. they was clean made sure things was wiped down and had mask on both ladies was respectful they took the time out to show me different units that would be a perfect size for my family they even was patient with my kids running around the store a mom's job is never done but these ladies help me out so much with my kids and all .
