I was a customer at this storage facility for almost 4 years and only just switched to a different location due to moving an hour away. This was by far the best storage facility close to Boston. It was easy to get to and had plenty of parking. The facility was very secure and had a gate with an access code. Bill was there every time I went and was always so helpful and kind. My only complaint if I had to have one was that they significantly increased my storage unit rent twice in a six month period making it less affordable than it had been, but that’s not the fault of this location, just public storage in general. I was a very happy customer for the 4 years I was there! They even called when I put my move out date in to make sure I wasn’t unhappy with the unit or having problems. Highly highly recommend if you’re looking for a storage unit!!

The process for renting a unit was seamless and straightforward. I knew upfront what the cost was and the steps to gain access to my unit were emailed directly after. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel my rental and during that process had the pleasure of speaking with Bill! Bill was kind, understanding, and helped ensure I was refunded the maximum amount possible since I had never used the unit and was only a day past the rental’s start date. He even followed up to ensure we were on the same page regarding the refund, which I’m pleased to say is already pending on my bank account! Because of the wonderful service I received from Bill, should I need another storage unit I’ll be sure to choose Public Storage!

February 10, 2024 Morning This Public Storage company located in Somerville Massachusetts is a good place to have a storage unit. The office person Bill gave me informative and courteous service. The building is clean, supervised and secure. The cost on a month to month basis is reasonable. And for any changes this business is flexible. I most appreciate this trustworthy facility. June 2, 2024 Morning After moving out of my storage space unit at Public Storage in Somerville Massachusetts a few days ago, in summary this was a worthwhile arrangement for me. Because I was able to clean up my home as an apartment in the city is limited. Now after household furniture and items were better placed I have healthier living. At the Public Storage office both Bill and Michael were helpful with the check out process. I must state that all of my storage items were kept in excellent condition. And previously at this office I was given directions to nearby Home Depot store. There I purchased well made waterproof storage boxes for my personal and business paper files. Thank you for these services at an affordable price.

Public Storage at 50 Middlesex Ave., Somerville, MA, has been a very good experience for us. The managers, Alexis and Jackson, have been very helpful from start to finish. They've been most accommodating to any needs we might have, such as upgrading to a larger unit if necessary. They have patiently answered my questions, and gone above and beyond on our move-in day: personally letting my movers know that I was going to be late getting there due to a taxi mix-up. The facility is very clean and easy to access. I give it five stars and highly recommend it. I'm leaving my earlier review in. Today (2.7.'24) I called Public Storage Somerville to inquire about the availability of a larger unit than we presently have. I spoke with Bill. I have only the most excellent comments to make about Bill's customer service. He is kind, patient, and very clear and transparent. We went over the logistics of moving to a larger unit, and he pointed out to me the most financially efficient way to do that. He suggested we lock in the low rate that was advertised on the website for the size unit we wanted. He advised me how to find a mover. He went over all the fees we would need to pay in addition to the monthly rent, so there will be no surprises. He even went over the rental fee increases we should expect in the coming year(s). He was an excellent representative and a very good human being. Very careful to describe everything I should expect and how to make this move in the most financially efficient way possible. Thank you, Bill.

Great unit, easy to locate and easy to rent and vacate. Bill at the counter was super sweet during the process and was very helpful!

Oh they’ll be happy tontake your money for their outrageous rates, but if you miss a months payment, you whole init will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Horrible organization and horrible employees! Go with U Haul or other private companies. These people are malicious degenerates.

Clean, help full Price is right

I was in bind and Jackson at the facility in assemble helped me out big. I'm not sure who runs the place but I'm pretty sure he should or get a raise. He let me know all my options and was so helpful in making sure I knew all my options before I made a choice and it was like talking to a family member that I haven't connected with in awhile.
