Mike at the front desk went above and beyond to help us, even helped us strap in our stuff in the back of the car when he noticed we were struggling! What could have been a headache of a day went smoothly thanks to him. Highly recommend this location!

Great and smooth experience for my first Storage unit rental which I did with Public Storage (PS). Stephanie was awesome; she reached out to me proactively, answered my questions and guided me through the sign-up and on-boarding process. She also helped me resolve a little glitch with the return of the PS padlock which I ended up not using - very professional. Site was very clean and which had access to instant help virtually.

During the week of my move in, I had a lot of hiccups, snags, and misunderstandings that the property manager, Stephanie, helped iron out. She was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and confirming what I needed to do to properly move into the storage unit, and I have to tell you, her empathy went long way toward making a difficult process so much easier.

Stephanie was an absolute angel. She guided me on the phone through my options and made the process very easy and simple. Excellent experience!

I'm a longtime customer of Public Storage at 650 Eastern Ave in Malden. This location is self service but I still find it to be very responsive when the need arises. Recently I dealt with Stephanie to change my storage unit in order to save some money. She was friendly, helpful and efficient (and got me a good deal). I couldn't be happier with the services provided by this Public Storage location. If you prefer a full service location, there is one just about a block away.

Paul was great excellent service and extremely professional

I am completely devastated and beyond angry. Don’t bother w/these robots. They auctioned our entire storage unit without contacting us by phone or email. we were out of state for several months attending to a sick relative and were not notified that the payments were not going through. No calls or emails, no nothing. I am a photographer by trade and my iMac that I used for work and had for over 12 years with hundreds of thousands of my children’s childhood photos, hard drives with backed up raw professional images of clients, so many photos. I find it frankly disgusting that they would sell someone’s personal computer with raw images for anyone to look at. All of our furniture that we bought with our hard earned hourly job incomes. Completely gone, My children’s clothes i was saving for our next child. My maternity clothes i was hoping to use as i am pregnant. My husbands expensive work boots and clothes, brand new crib, baby mattress, changing table, queen sized bed less than a year old, a barely used glider. We were planning on using alll of this in 20 weeks when I give birth. All of our kitchenware. Medical records of my two children’s, my husbands and other important documents. large photo prints of my children. It’s gross how some random person prob has those now. It’s insane how this company took advantage of us and put zero effort and they made money off of the situation and offer no information or paperwork regarding our account being closed?? No proof, no nothing. Just wondering how you sleep at night taking things from people who have nothing to begin with? Money can’t fix this situation. I want our things back and I am told that is impossible.

I had to rent a storage unit a few months ago and I went with U-Haul. I found public storage to be a lot better. I was assigned a specific storage unit and the app made the self-service really easy. It would’ve been nice, however, if it link to a map so you could find the unit more easily. When I went to U-Haul on the other hand, they changed the unit I signed up for the one that required going up a short flight of stairs with no elevator access! Also, public storage seemed cleaner and better lit. Not only that but one of their employees called me a few days later to say they saw I had access my unit and to make sure I didn’t have any questions or problems.

Dirty. No one on premises. Bathrooms inaccessible. Difficult to get someone on the phone.

Stephanie was great. Went through everything and explained anything I had questions about. She was very nice and considerate.

DO NOT RENT AT THIS LOCATION! I've been in this storage facility for almost two years, and I’ve had the worst experience a customer could ever have. If you are looking for a safe, convenient space THIS IS NOT IT. Not only we had to deal with cockroaches all the time, but also had to buy a spray to keep the mice out of our unit. We talked to the staff multiple times, but unfortunately they are EXTREMELY deficient. The gate is broken most of the times, so anybody could access the units, and the parking lot is always full of broken glass, so expect to get a flat tire like multiple people have. When we tried to bring this to the staff’s attention she just said “I don’t care”, which says a lot about the importance they give to the facility. You are better off at a different location that gives a good, reliable customer service, and provides a clean and convenient storage facility. See pictures below

I rented here for 8 years while living abroad. On my second to last move out we of course lost the key. I called and got Paul. He was great and helped us get the lock cut off. Since I couldn’t get there that Friday he did a temporary lock for the night. The next morning he was right on top of coming over to this facility from the neighboring one to get us into the unit. Great service at the end making us sure to go back should we need storage again.

Wow! Stephanie was so terrific! Definitely come to this facility in Malden or the other one just down the street and work with her. She made our entire experience smooth and easy—always a plus when moving—and was so helpful on all the little details.

Berry expense

Got locked in and then gate would not close on way out. Charged for lock when I brought my own. No way to delete line item at time of reservation but had a note beside it stay in if we brought our own lock we could get an instant refund. Nobody in office and everything is self service and automated on the phone so very difficult to get a hold of anybody about any refund.

I've been very happy with the storage unit I have here. Building is secure and clean with ample access hours.
